Do you ever feel like people try to make you feel stupid because you can be too nice? Or sometimes you get sick of constantly putting on a show to be nice so people will like you. Its like sometimes people expect for you to be the nice one automatically all the time or say the right things? I find myself just quiet and social situations now.IP: Logged |

That's literally my life. Holy cow. Yeah people can assume I'm stupid on first glance because of how nice and diplomatic I am (I hate drama), but once they get to know me they discover I can outsmart them and think circles around them (; I also find that people assume that because I'm so nice that they can take advantage of that. To a point it is true, I let a lot happen but when I snap I snap. ------------------

However, I wasn't always so passive. If I was in an academic environment and in an environment I felt comfortable in I would argue my point till the end of days. However, I've grown up quite a bit and learned how to wisely pick my battles.IP: Logged |

Well on days where my energy is high I'm dynamic at work. I'm also a capricorn dom with my sun sextile saturn so that probably also helps with my work ethic. Everyone usually looks to me at work for what to do, I'm considered a leader. I'm also truly diplomatic in my decisions and I try to be kind to everyone. My career currently deals with the disabled so I understand that everyone needs to be treated with as much kindness and compassion as possibles. My fellow employees I try to get along with, if we have disputes I maintain my rightness (I'm a bit arrogant) but I try to find out who is right in a situation by looking at all the facts, and if I was wrong I would apologize.I really love being a Leo MC, it's conjunct my Moon so that's interesting. My work energy is pretty much ruled by my emotions and how I'm feeling, which kind of sucks on an off day. ------------------

I have a Libra asc., mars and sun. I do feel like ppl expect too much from me. I hate the ones who try to convince me to change my mind. N yea ppl tried to play me As a dummy before. Yes, people think I am stupid by first glance because I'm too nice I like to keep things peaceful. Libra ASC with Venus conjunct the ASC though the 12th house...

First thing that comes to mind for me is that if your "presence" is Libra/the Scales, then either people tend to see an "opposing scale (for balance)" in you (and thus a need to "correct" that), or they see a "judge" (think contest, not snobby/personal) and instinctively want to "win" a "contest" of sorts by getting you to declare their view the "winner" after you've "weighed it on the scales." I graduated from a gifted program, so according to educational institutions I'm not... I do see how people feel like I'm judging them... But they also judge me too harshly...people also try to take advantage of you all the time...I also identify with the moon/MC comment and emotions affecting work... I have Cancer MC and bad emotions make me unable to work properly... I guess Pisces Merc doesn't help... ------------------

Just surround yourself with the right people and you won't have that issue. Libras are extremely nice and that's because they have a lot of heart

I certainly try to be polite and fair when possible.
However I will not be pushed. It's probably a combination of several things in my chart. My Pluto is conjunct in the first so that may give it a different flavour so that I don't really experience what you describe. IP: Logged |

I mean I'm VERY much a Leo moon haha 1 degree, can't get much more Leo moon than that haha. Anyways...Does any other libra ascendent feel like they are being hypocrites when they first meet people because they aren't their full selves they are diplomatic and kind? I have a problem with this... ------------------

You know what? I'm nice, but sometimes as a man, I have to come off kinda standoffish becuase people can think some things. I cant explain it, but its there.. I dont here from many libra rising men..I feel like when I'm too nice people, I get some oppistions.. I personally think it's more easier for girls, though! I see what you are saying though because I am the same way.. The Libra rising can be so annoying..
