Having the Sun as well as other personal planets there, may give the individual more "Libra" traits i.e the ability to see both sides of the argument, trying to balance two opposing sides. That is because that part of us that we allocate to someone else, is what the 7th house is. So when the Sun or other personal planet is there(regardless of sign),we may be able to not only see things from our view(Asc). But also from the view of our partner(7th). It is however the sign on the 7th house cusp that colors things. 7th house in Scorpio(Taurus Asc)often is drawn to a mate that is sexual, emotionally deep and intense. If the individual is born with Sun(or even Moon) in Scorpio, then he would function as someone who is always trying to bring the material outlook(Asc Taurus) together with the emotional fulfillment (Scorpio 7th). So this individual would display "Libra" traits i.e always trying to find the middle ground of both outlooks. So they would steer clear of being too grounded in realism and practicality (Taurus). But also watch out for coming across too intense and super-emotional (Scorpio). It would be a balancing act that others(especially the close friend or partner) externally recognize as someone who is always trying to come across as "fair"(Libra).

Yes, due to the Huber degrees or 'House Chart'. Your SUN in 7H corresponds to an actual degree placement in Libra, beginning at 0° with the start of the 7H, at the DSC, and completing at the 8H cusp. Where your SUN falls is its degree. Being in 7H, it will be in Libra.I've found that the Huber degrees provide fantastic insight, indeed. IP: Logged |

My dad is a 7th house Leo Sun and he balances nothing...but that maybe because he has an unaspected Sun and it's acts up now and then. I wonder. He's very sociable but I'm not sure that's just the Leo or the 7th as well. IP: Logged |

Just depends. The house is just the area where your energy shows. So you may show your sun more when you're doing 7th house activities. My sun and mars is in the first house. I will say that my mars does feel a little more hot there but my sun,I still feel like a libra but I'm not gonna lie, I do relish the spotlight even if its just a momentIP: Logged |

I always was taught that the house is not your personality or traits, its areas of your life. And that the signs the planets are in, and the aspects to them, describe your actual traits and personality. Placements in the eighth wont make you a scorpio. Placements in the 7th dont make you Libran, etc. IP: Logged |

A bit, yes. My wife is a Gemini, but sun is in 7th and she's much more relational/responsive than the usual Scorpio riser.------------------ The Declinations Guy Astrology & Natural Medicine blog IP: Logged |
