Hi. I'm wondering what can point to this condition. And did anyone have it?

Pisces Moon in men.. because they go though every diagnosable disorder, so they've probably also had this at some stage...

My sister. I really don't know. 12th house Pisces Moon? Chiron in the 1st? It might have squared her Mercury.

I have Chiron conjunct Mercury, Ceres, and Sun, and have dealt with extreme social anxiety. I might have been diagnosed with this during a period in my teens, because I was practically mute when I dropped out of school. I'm a Gemini Moon, so that should give people some idea of how depressed I was. And anxious.

The Pisces moon men I've known are not like that. I feel like you just enjoy mocking these people.

Thanks all.

I've been thinking. Maybe Jupiter-Saturn contributes? Saturn is fear and Jupiter is a magnifier. Fear would keep growing.

According to Waldorf Study by Greenbaum, Moon signs are about 50% accurate. Pisces is a water sign and water is an inhibited temperament, so that makes sense. But having water Moon might not give this temperament to the person.

Mercury-Neptune can be heightened sensitivity. I think this is a contributing factor.

A genetic predisposition to anxiety was mentioned in an article about selective mutism. That would be some aspect shared with our parents.

I know someone with Sun / Mercury / Chiron in the third house, and has a fear of sharing his thoughts out loud.

Also has a Jupiter / Saturn sextile.

Selective mutism generally happens in children and adolescents with above-average intelligence, actually. It's not an insult. Just some food for thought.

Mercury in the 12th conjunct Chiron.

I have that aspect and when I was a kid, my mom said that my elementary school thought there was something wrong with me but she never told me what exactly. Maybe autism? There were a few times where I was pulled out of class and was brought into a room where I got to play with an adult. She would ask me random questions and ask what I was doing when I was playing with stuff. I don't recall if I replied to everything she asked but I remember when she said that we would write something that I wanted on a balloon then go outside and let it go. I asked for a dog.

It's hard to express myself verbally but sometimes I'm just lazy to open my mouth lol I figure it's not important so I keep quiet.

no its worse than being too lazy to talk.

My younger sister told me once that i looked like i wanted to speak but the words were stuck in my chest and she wanted to slap me on the back so i could get them out.

You literally CANT speak.

Hm I think I experienced that more when I was a kid. Being lazy to talk is myself right now. When I was in kindergarten, the teacher said my name wrong and I looked at her and couldn't say how my name is really pronounced. There's anxiety that's felt or some inner tension that's hard to describe.

This is SOMEwhat closer to the general idea, yeah although worse and for an extended period. I spent from about sixth grade to 11th or 12th grade of high school just nodding or shaking my head in response to everything. Its when literally, even in an emergency, you just cannot talk. I mean that quite literally.

A gym teacher assumed i was cognitively disabled because i would never talk and didn't want to deal with me so she had me moved into a "special" gym class. I got corralled into going to some form of "speech therapy" in the tenth grade too where the teacher would basically try to conjole me to talk for an hour a week. Eventually i was given a choice to continue or not and i didn't. She wasn't mean about it i just wasn't ready.

Junior year In a sociology class a student-teacher made us all read the text aloud and i was livid. I Forced myself to speak because at that point i was more afraid of being put on the spot for NOT talking than actually talking. Id had an entire class laugh at me til i cried freshman year, and feared a repeat of that so i made myself do it. I must've been getting better by then though, because in the years before that i would've just stayed mute and eventually started crying if pushed to talk or the class started in on me.

Another teacher during this time told me when i did finally decide to talk, id ROAR.

I don't know what made me get over it, although I still won't really talk in public unless its absolutely necessary. Ironically in my 20s i suddenly developed a stutter literally out of nowhere. I think I'm always going to have problems with verbal communication in one way or another but i can write most people under the table and I'm smart so ill be fine.

"Your child does not talk in class or raise hand, your child is too quiet" that is generally how my report cards started out...Please come for a Parent Teacher Conference so we can talk about your child not talking...blah, blah. Story of my life

Uranus in 3rd
Pluto in 3rd
Sun square Chiron
Mercury square Chiron
Chiron conjunct MC
Mercury in 12th
Mercury square Uranus, 0.03 orb

Etc.

Thanks to my parents, they didn't listen to these teacher's bullcrap. I was reading college level books when I was 9 years old.

This brought back so much memories from the past. I think I've buried them because it's something I'd rather forget.

Getting pulled out of class to hang out and be asked random questions by an adult happened all throughout elementary. I didn't see anything abnormal about it at the time because I was a kid. I've never talked about it with my mom in full detail. Just knew that the school thought there was something wrong with me.

I think I need to dive in deeper and maybe talk to my mom about it now that I'm in my mid 20s.

I found something in common with that person.

The left is hers and the right is mine.

Do you see Sun-Neptune?
Coincidence?
