I would say Sagittarius influences, but it's not a catch-all for not wearing makeup. That's my best guess, though.

Also, I've noticed that Aquarius/Sagittarius combinations seem more likely to not want the frill/hassle of makeup, or clothes that aren't comfortable.

Interesting. I have a Leo rising and Venus sextile Saturn in my natal chart. I realize that's only a minor aspect, but I think you nailed it.

I occasionally wear eyeliner, maybe 3 times in a month and only when I go out dancing.

I don't wear any other makeup, don't use any skin creams, don't use special facial wash, etc. because it feels like a chore to deal with all of that.

You may be on to something here too about Sag influences (I have a Sag moon).

However, my ex-SIL has a Sag Sun and she is never without makeup and she even puts fresh makeup on before bed. I wish I had her birth time.

Not mine!

I love it.

Because - I see it as an art form, and because: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipstick_feminism << A statement that I will never stop making.

Also, in my opinion... as a Pluto in Scorpio conjunct my South Node in Scorpio and opposite my Taurus Venus... this makeup issue is Scorpionic... But it's a side of Scorpio I feel I must leave behind me, in this lifetime

I have a Sag friend like that, but she has a Scorpio Moon, although I forget the rest of her placements.

Not sure... I have Leo rising and I like makeup. Although mine is natural and minimal. I usually just put on foundation, concealer, and mascara. But I do like going out every now and then and getting dressed up and glamming up.

I never was super into the over dramatized makeup look of Kim Kardsashian. I think it's more for insecure women to be honest. I was an athlete growing up so I was used to being makeup free in front of people.

I knew a girl who was a Virgo. Not sure what her rising sign was. All of her Facebook pictures were selfies of herself with her hair and makeup all done. Waaay too much makeup in my opinion. Is this maybe a Virgo thing? But she was very insecure about her looks.

foundation and concealer is the most unnatural part of makeup though

I know some women that have Mars in Virgo and they don't use makeup. They are very natural.

That's super judgmental. Makeup is not an insecurity thing. Maybe for a very select few it is, but there are people like myself who truly love makeup. To me, it's like playtime or similar to painting and my face is the canvas. It's the same for a lot of my friends. Getting ready/ talking about makeup/ doing each other's makeup is how we bond sometimes.

Just wanted to give you a different perspective on it.

I notice people with a lot of aries placements aren't into makeup. I have aries rising, and I don't do my makeup on a daily basis, but when I do, I go all out and have fun with it.

that's true..helping friends with mascara, liner et. al. is kind of a bonding thing.

However, I don't use make up at all (though I would like to learn how to one day). I'm venus in Virgo, so you can add that to the no-makeup list.

Nope. If they're very well matched, they can be like your second skin. I'd call eyeshadows, lipsticks and lip glosses unnatural. Well, unless they're super nude.

I don't usually wear makeup, if I am going out I will put on a bit, but it's minimal and natural looking with almost entirely natural products! I would say it's my Virgo moon with Leo rising. The Leo in me wants to be like pshh I don't need makeup! But the Virgo is secretly very anal about ingredients lol

That's weird. We have the same placements, I was the complete opposite until only in the last year or so.

Prior to that, it was makeup, the full nine yards, if I so much as stepped out my door.

Pisces Sun
Virgo Moon
Leo Asc
Aries Venus

I don't either, thats why i said venus in virgo. Leo sun, but i think the venus is trumping that.

I mean its the thing that hides your flaws the most. People know that you dont have super red lips or purple eyeshadow, but they dont know that under that concealer you look dead and have bad skin, therefor unnatural. Stop saying a makeup look is natural because its ironic. If you want a natural look then stop wearing makeup and work on your skin(:
