I have a few questions for anyone who had their mother pass away early in their lives. By early i mean before you reached the age of 20.What house is your moon in? (I have a theory not pertaining to this subject and would appreciate both Placidus and Equal house placements if you care to give them) What planets, if any, aspect your moon? What planets rule your 4th and 10th houses and how are they placed/aspected? What planets, if any, are located in your 4th/8th/10th houses? IP: Logged |

A man I used to know:His Sun conjunct Moon was in Taurus, in his 9th. Sextile Mars/Saturn in Cancer. Pluto ruled his Scorpio 4th, Venus would rule his 10th. (I'm going from memory.) Venus/Jupiter was probably in his 8th (Pisces). He lost his mother when he was a kid, and his father when he was in his mid-twenties.

What house is your moon in? (I have a theory not pertaining to this subject and would appreciate both Placidus and Equal house placements if you care to give them)8th house Placidus & equal What planets, if any, aspect your moon? My moon is sextile my sun, square Mars, and widely square Neptune. Trine NN. What planets rule your 4th and 10th houses and how are they placed/aspected? The way my chart is rectified, the IC is in Libra, with Venus in the 5H widely conjunct Neptune, trine Saturn, semisextile Uranus, novile sun. Mars rules the 10H and it is square my moon and Neptune, quincunx my sun, semisquare Saturn, sextile Jupiter What planets, if any, are located in your 4th/8th/10th houses? 4H - Uranus & NN 8H - moon 10H -SN Curious to see what you learn. Thank you all for your responses Whether your loss or someone's close to you, the effects are felt by all who loved them and even by those who love the ones who love the deceased so I do apologize for possibly bring up the wound and thank you deeply for helping me I'm attempting to rectify a chart of an ex and I'm 99% sure he is a Cancer Asc. But where? I settled on an 8th house moon for him for a couple reasons. Faith, your Moon in the 8th house and my Sun in my 8th (equal only) are predicted to have the loss of the parent associated with that planet. Both of us had that unfortunate possibility manifest. With a Cancer Asc, my ex could easily have an 8th house Moon. The Asc degree I settled on (22 Cancer) gives him: An 8th house aqua moon MC ruler is Neptune in the 6th. If the 10th house ruler is another representative of the mother, Neptune in the 6th could indicate hidden illness. His mother died from a brain aneurysm that ruptured unbeknownst to her when she was in an elevator that fell the last 8 feet or so of its descent. She passed away 4 days later laying on her couch at home thinking she was lucky all she got was a broken leg. Thus, giving the reason for the mother's death shown by the 8H Moon. Pluto in the 4th is another indicator of losing a parent early, though not particular to either even though this is the house of the father. Pluto in the 4th shows a drastic change in one's early homelife; ie the death of a parent. Whereas Uranus could show sporadic involvement with family, possibly being viewed as the "crazy one" because you break family traditions. With the Asc at 22 cancer he has Pluto in his 4th conjunct Saturn. His 4th ruler would be Mercury in the 12th. I spent hours reading different astrologers' takes on Sun, Merc, Venus, and Mars in the houses and a 12th house Sun/Mars conjunction makes SO much sense. The truth of the matter is that I could have saved myself a bunch of time and just asked him his birth time, but that would involve talking to him and that's just not something i care to do IP: Logged |

Interesting! I admire how you figured all of that out. Have you considered progressions? quote: Pluto in the 4th is another indicator of losing a parent early
When my mother died: Tr Pluto 18.51 Scorpio My pr NN 18.45 Scorpio, in my progressed 4H Some additional stuff: Pr MC ruler Venus, 24 Sag Tr Venus 26 Sag My pr sun 0 Aqua Tr NN 28.58 Cap Natal sun 15.47 Cap Tr Neptune 13.18 Cap Pr Neptune 13.10 Sag Tr Sun 17.19 Sag ^^ Not sure if that's within orb to even mention. When my father died: More Neptune: My pr Neptune 13.34 Sag in 4H Tr Jupiter 9.24 Sag, 4H My pr sun 17.19 Aqua, 6H Tr Neptune 18.19 Aqua, 6H My natal moon 18.12 Pisces Tr NN 17.54 Pisces Pr MC ruler was Venus My pr Venus 14 Cap conjunct my natal sun, my father's pr sun, & transiting sun-Mercury My pr Gemini Mars was in my 10H Tr Mars conjunct his pr Mars exact when he died; he had a tight sun-Mars conjunction in Libra, natally. ------ My pr moon was ruled by Venus when both parents died: in Libra when my mother with my mother, Taurus with my father. Interesting because my mother had sun conjunct Venus natally, and as I said my father was a Libra. So strange, how it all comes together!

Faith! You always have to remind me of progressions! So, of course I didn't check them It really is amazing the way everything is connected and relative, isn't it? I don't know his mother's birth info though, or the exact day she died. I only know my ex was 8 when it happened. Was the there anything that stood out in your solar return the years your parents passed? IP: Logged |

Let's see...Solar return for the year my mother died: Sag ASC with Jupiter in the 8H sesquisquare 12H Pluto & quincunx Venus 17.13 Scorpio Pluto, 12H 11.25 Taurus moon, right on the 6H cusp ^^ Wide opposition 15.47 Cap sun, 2H 16.14 Cap Saturn, 2H 13.27 Sag Mars, 1H quincunx Taurus moon 12.13 Cap Uranus trine Taurus moon 13.29 Cancer Chiron (8H) opposing 12 Cap Uranus & sun 16.23 Aqua NN square my pr NN This chart's IC is conjunct my natal Pisces moon. Not sure if any of this is helpful at all. At least we know the chart ruler is in the 8H, aspecting 12H Pluto. Solar Return for when my father died: Wow...never looked at this before... 18.18 Aqua Neptune 20.43 Leo moon 24.11 Leo Saturn So when my mother died, Saturn was conjunct the sun, and when my father died, Saturn was conjunct the moon. 13 Cap ASC, with Saturn on the 8H cusp, trine 12H Sag Mars & Pluto *** So again the chart ruler is in the 8H (or on the cusp, anyway), aspecting 12H Pluto.
