I am not at all affectionate, and I feel most appreciated when my lover acknowledges all that I do for him.

I'm very shy when it comes to matters of the heart. I am not flirtatious, and if I like someone I won't pursue them unless I know for a fact that they like me too.

I am very picky when it comes to who I want in a partner. I have a checklist, and if someone doesn't meet my requirements then bye bye.

Same here when it comes to partners. Its certain things that if you do them you no longer exist to me.

Lol, I've seen evidence of your love for Virgos on here. We love 6th house people right back. They're like our cool cousins.

I wouldn't want to walk like I have a stick up my butt while walking in heels. (I don't want to walk in heels LOL).

So it works like this:
As mentioned, we're five times more critical of ourselves.
We're critical because we want the best for you if we love you.
In a nutshell. I don't think I'm as critical as we're made out to be but I don't think any of us realize it if we are. It's not our intent.

My husband and three of my best friends have virgo venus (and other virgo placements). Giving constructive criticism is one of their best traits. That, and extreme attention to details, along with practiced, almost "clinical" precision.

While they're not antagonistic or go out of their way to peck at me, they don't hold back and don't go easy or coddle me either. Shrug, oh well that's how I like it. To some others it may look like they're being overly critical. To me they're just being helpful and I'm glad they pick up on the small details that I miss.

Are you a Cappy?

It seems like Capricorns respond best to Virgo's energy. They take in stride and see it for the "help" that it is.

My brother is a Cappy and knowing him, if he's typical of Caps they probably just nod to get the Virgos off their back and then do their own thing anyway.

Capricorn is cardinal, they aren't taking orders from anybody.

I didn't say that Capricorns take orders from Virgos, nor did I imply it.

I rarely find faults with Caps. They always appear to have their s*it together. But if I do, and I mention it to them, I have no doubt that they appreciate the input for what it is, which is help. Not orders. What they do with it is none of my business though. They can take it or leave it once it's out there.

---

Jeez, I really need to look at the transits right now. I feel like I'm beating my head against a wall over here. Lol. Any other Virgos feeling this way?

Yeah I'm a cap sun/asc/venus.

In the years of being with my s.o and friends, sure there have been plenty of times when I thought "Why do you have to focus on that tiny thing, it's tiny anyway it's of no importance". I don't pay enough attention to details, get bored easily
and prefer to gloss over things. But often, the little things are indeed important. Like in a painting, taking the tiny details away makes the whole thing sort of bland.

Without those people, my life would feel "lacking" too. So I like them to stay where they are and keep bringing my attention to the most minuscule things.

Most of the time they don't find faults. More like finding ways to improve.

There are more to their virgo energy, but yeah ime this is one of the things that I notice most about them.

I don't know what else to say here. It really is the case that we Virgo Venus friends care about seeing you improve if we find things that can be better.

Its also true that we turn that criticism on ourselves much more often, and far more hurtful. Venus is weakened in this sign.

What you should be concerned about is the day we stop doing this, because that is a plain indicator that you are a lost cause; no longer worth trying to save.

Exactly!

Whenever people complain about the criticism, it's like, if we're not criticizing you, we don't care about you. Which would you prefer?

The problem is that when you finally want our thoughts about something, You won't get them.
My time is my most valuable thing to me. It makes me seem cold sometimes but I won't bother with things that are not important to me or that I feel that I can't change.
I am human though and it is 12th so things pull at my heart strings sometimes.

I think so. I feel Virgo energy like a "tuning fork" that helps me figure myself out and improve.

You're right, DopGang.

I wish more people could understand this about Virgos. I think a lot of people take the fact that we care for granted.
