Topic: Do you prefer being around those with the same or compatible elements?

I've got Pisces sun/ Virgo moon and Leo rising. for the most part I don't really enjoy being around other water signs..... When I do I feel like everything is so watery and slow and boring... I am forced to jump into my Leo persona to liven things up which feels tedious to me... I really enjoy and get along with air and fire signs, although I know "traditionally" that isnt my most compatible bunch. I don't know if it's the Uranus trine / Mars square on my sun? Or if there is just some sort of natural balance achieved by being around those with different energies! When I'm around my Geminis and Aries I totally feel like the group water sign, I become much more aware of my fluid nature around them, but I enjoy it... Because I am me and there isn't any sort of comparison or competition because we are so different! Would love to hear everyone's experiences  IP: Logged |

Aqua sun/Aries moon/Sag rising.I prefer being around with the same or compatible elements with my MOON, air & fire. But if those earth/water has moon in fire (especially aries) or venus in air/fire, we can get along very well. IP: Logged |

I like fiery people. They don't like me. I have only 1 fire placement, it's my Venus so other fire signs trine it, plus my Venus has few aspects and is in the 12th so I fall in love with them all but can't express it. Besides that I have 3 air, 3 water, 3 earth. IP: Logged |

Fire and Air are my favorite types to be aroundExcept I like water Suns Typically I get along with everyone but this guy I was dating I had literally nothing compatible with. his sun did not go with my moon, and his Mars did not go with my Venus. Other than that we were good.. We argue and he worries and complains about everything

My south node is Aries
Our synastry is amazing, I'm looking at it now
Her sun opposes my sun,Mercury and Venus
Her moon conjuncts my true node
Her Jupiter squares my Mercury and Venus
My Mercury and Venus conjuncts her true node The only problem is my moon is squared by her Uranus and Neptune but other than that it's all fun and wonderful  ------------------

OK I just now justified why me and my ex fight so muchHis Mars squares my Mercury !!!
I have never had that aspect with a person before or atleast I didn't know them well enough to have this aspect play out

I am an earth void. I like to be around people with a lot of earth. I like how they feel. They feel grounded and safe to me. However, if I want to share my heart, I need a Moon that resonates with mine. The Cappy Moon sees things in an opposite way, which can be good for logical things but our hearts do not see things in the same way. I am a Cancer Moon.------------------

I really prefer the same elements. I was in an environment where I was surrounded by earth. Didn't feel anything missing really and got on with them fine. This was until they hired this one new girl(Air element). And suddenly I was more chatty and irreverent  There is much more that I can say/ get away with when conversing with masculine Sun signs than I would with those who have feminine Sun signs. Also, I tend to dominate conversations with the latter to a point where they just sit and listen.And that is no fun
