What placements do you think make it difficult for people to deal with being interviewed for a job? I feel like more introverted people might have a harder time standing out from outgoing people in interviews. So therefore, maybe people with predominant water in their chart as opposed to fire would have a harder time with an interview? I hope I'm making sense while asking this question! IP: Logged |

I would think Saturn conjunct MC. Maybe any hard aspects from Saturn to MC?My brother and my step-daughter have the conjunction, and despite the fact that they're both very qualified, experienced people in their fields, they tend to not do well in interviews. IP: Logged |

I'm a Pisces Mercury and I feel like I have to rehearse a million times before an interview because I take forever to think of a response when I'm asked a question. IP: Logged |

Well, I mean...interviews just sort of suck anyway, by nature. Because people are absurd. *applies for basic job in related field* "Why do you want to work for our company?" "Uhm...because I need money?" "What skills can you offer us?" "Didn't I go to great lengths to outline that in my resume already? Why are you asking me stupid questions?" I mean...we all want to say these things along with "...are you serious?" Is your Mercury in hard aspect to anything? IP: Logged |

Actually, I went to look at my brother's chart, to see which sign his MC was in, and realized that he doesn't have that conjunction at all. They both have Sun conjunct Saturn, but my step-daughter has it all conjunct MC as well. But yes, she is very hard-working, and dedicated to her work. IP: Logged |

I have sun-mercury-saturn conjunct. Saturn on MC. I think sun in 10th is very helpful for career IP: Logged |

And then theres this. I have Chiron in the third (possibly square to my mercury also, not sure), and verbal communication is NOT my thing.
I have my moon conjunct pluto in the eighth also, and small talk and being smiley and chirpy on-command to impress at interviews is something i struggle with also. Like i said before, I'm working on being so clearly talented and qualified for the job they feel almost like they HAVE to hire me, whether they like me or not, or find me weird or not. IP: Logged |

I think the power of scorp moon is overstated anyway, all the ones I've encountered are really jealous hearted and intensely insecure. IP: Logged |

I think you're right. Not sure about interviews. My step-daughter thrives in her work. She kicks @ss, as a matter of fact. But she does do really poorly in interviews, but seems fine in day-to-day life. *shrug*

I think Mercury Rx, coupled with the fact that my Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars are all in either Virgo or Gemini, is the culprit.I haven't had that many interviews, though. I had a one-on-one interview in my teens and I aced that one. When I applied for my first job after college, I was interviewed by 5 managers and an HR person - all at the same time. I was nervous and screwed up some answers, but who wouldn't in that situation? I was prepared, looked the part and was qualified for the position, so I received a job offer. I guess it hasn't held back much, but I definitely don't interview well if it's multiple people like that. I just try to have everything else going for me so I have a fighting chance at landing the job. I have Sag MC. I'm not sure about the aspects though. Ruler Jupiter in Leo/6th house and I also have Uranus in 10th house/Capricorn. IP: Logged |

^ I had two interviews like that, and I felt the same way.The second time it happened... Much to my horror, when I arrived I had to sit around at a table with the clients AND the other people who had been chosen to interview. I was like "Wtf, are you serious?" I can understand a meet and greet with the clients, but...really? -__- But, normally I do well in interviews. I move a lot, so I've had a number of them. But yeah, don't sit me in front of a group of people for a bowl full of awkward. IP: Logged |

Oh man, that sounds super awkward. And weird. I would be the one to be like, "What, you want us to fight for the job or something?" Lol I think mine was mostly weird because I tend to zero in on one person and try to figure out their energy and what they're all about. As soon as I would 'click' with one manager, another one would start asking questions. It totally threw me off. I remember sitting in my car afterwards going, "What the heck was that?" I was pretty sure I wasn't going to get the job until they called me 2 weeks later lol.
