We just had an okay time at the vet, and they were very nice even though we were late. Cats have basic cold symptoms, but no temperature. We'll have to test for FELV at some point, but she said we could wait and see how they are after antibiotics.

That sounds potentially good.

For all the people who have quit their jobs during this transit.

Take this job...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj2iGAifSNI

And the '80s punk version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjlxSRzJI4Y
(Hm. I really miss this album.)

I should probably not joke about it, but it is a funny coincidence.

Hm. LL seems to be feeling the sh!tstorm as well, so I think I'll be limiting my participation here for a while.

But on the plus side, I'm so happy that we have the site back!

A Scorpio Mars family member just got a new job as soon as the retrograde starts. He is quite fed up with his current job. I guess he benefits since it's his Mars return.

Taurus coworker tried to make my life harder. Must be all that fixed energy. She's a libra Mars too lol. But I just distance myself and chose to not have lunch with her and other coworkers. They got the message.

Lots of technical issues at work too.

LL shut down, clearly and then all these threads about memes

Overall this is the first Mercury retrograde that I actually feel it. I'm not mercurial so normally it's hardly affecting me.

I usually carry my phone with me everywhere.

Yesterday I was getting out of my car when I realized I didn't have it. I'm bad to lay it on top of my car while I search for my keys. So I instantly thought, crap, it's gone.

I got home and found it in a place that I usually never leave it. I don't remember putting it there, but I was glad I didn't have to buy a new one.

In previous Rx I've accidentally left it in a store, or its fell out of my car (I used to keep it in the door handle until it fell out, froze overnight and had to be very carefully thawed). Mercury Rx is not nice to my phones.

I've also had to pay careful attention to paperwork - it seems like other people not filling it out/supplying it seems to be a theme. My laptop has also been messing up so it needs a little work. No new info, though I could really use it - I'm waiting to hear back about several jobs I've applied for (prior to the Rx).

This Mercury RX hasn't been that bad for me so far. The shadow (the day before mercury rx) was really bad, as well at the first few, but it's kind of evened out. I've noticed I've become less patient though and I caught a cold (which sucks because I had it on my birthday). Perhaps it's not as bad for me because my birthday was yesterday and my mercury is in aquarius, exactly conjunct the current mercury in aquarius. We will see though, I start my new semester on Monday. I've seen a lot of sickness though, not sure if it's related. I have a cold, my best friend has a cold, my sister and sister in-law have a cold, my dad is ill and my mother is ill. I live with my father (his caregiver) but that's all, and I haven't had much or any contact with the rest to get them sick. Mercury RX's are usually quite hard on me and my significant other (both mercury dom) so I'm surprised this one hasn't been worse than the last.

I apparently wasn't supposed to even bother trying to do anything this week. I woke up today with a bad pain in the side of my abdomen, that seems to have mostly eased now. But I've lost most of my Friday. At least I'm several chapters into a library book I got last night. But I hate this.

I hope not! If so, that might mean that my husband will also regret quitting...

It sounds like a lot of people have had it with their jobs with this transit, for some reason.

As people have mentioned, I guess throwing Pluto/Sun/Moon in the mix, and Mars, and the sign placements, etc...probably has something to do with it.

I don't know...if you need to rethink it, I guess my Earth placements say look before you leap?

Although in my husband's case, I didn't want him getting literally caught in the line of fire when crazy dude at his work finally snaps.

Well, good luck Mamawolf.

I want to quit mine. Seriously. It's not just some generic frustration. I really do and deep down have for some time now.
I can't though. In 1-2 years then I probably can.

Ugh. I just realized that I mailed a check out with the wrong year on it. And the place ONLY accepts checks or cash, and we're like a thousand miles away, so that's really great.

Actually, this particular Merc RX has been good to me. So far...

Got some freelance work out of the blues, for something I used to do years ago. Yeahhhh!!! Keep it coming, Merc RX!

Getting at some serious truth in my life.... revelations that not everyone is as they present themselves to be.

There's a scripture that says not to think of yourself more-highly than others.

This value has been an inner-code inscribed inside of me. I've lived by that code in my life since childhood-- (and probably for many lifetimes past).

I must learn to start allowing people to have to 'earn' my trust, than to just automatically assume and ascribe honor to them.

My Trust, and my trust in other people's words to me, has Value.

Capricorn transits today:
with Moon 14+ {1}, Pluto 15+{cusp H1/H2}, Sun 18+ {H2 on Persephone}, and my Sun and moon's ruler Mercury, which is retrograde 29+ {in my H2}.
tNN-Jupiter 23+ conjunct my H9 Virgo Moon.

Pluto and Mercury are my natal chart's friends.

Consider this more weird merc rx:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSgJeVwjnpc

Many threads right now (which mention the current transits) have reminded me of it.

And I like to find the funny side of things.

I have it too, and it hasn't made that much of a difference for me. I still experiences problems during Rx, and it's no less frustrating for me than it is for everyone else. (See my comment above, for example.)

I think having it in your chart speaks more to your communication style and thinking process, IME.

I didn't really pay much attention to mercury rx transits before. Sometimes there were internet problems, car or laptops issues, one or two misunderstanding or miscommunication here and there..etc... You know, the usual. They didn't really affect my moods.

But this merc rx I notice that I'm strangely irritable. Like last night I got so mad while trying to off a fly that kept buzzing around.

Although overall its effects don't affect me that badly because I've also been feeling weirdly creative/inspired for the past two months. So I just sort of push these feelings of irritation aside and hope they'll soon pass...
