Topic: This is the weirdest Mercury Rx I can recall...

Is it because it's all mixed in with Mars at the moment?Instead of having to wait endlessly for replies/responses from people, information has started arriving basically as soon as Mercury hit the retro button. Also, people seem abnormally angry/hostile. Me too, as they're both hitting my Mars/Uranus square. My husband just got into a yelling match with his supervisor (who seems like an unfortunately aggressive d!ck who takes out his personal stress on the employees). I mean, that's been building for a while, and I hope the dude doesn't go postal at work...I'm also amazed that he and my husband didn't get into a full-blown fist fight (that's the kind of work environment it is). But really, besides one thing (an important issue that got extended, and may require some extra money on our part), information seems to actually be flooding in for us? It's a very odd Mercury Rx, I'll say. Also, I guess the Dark Moon is almost here, as of today, so that might be a contributing factor?
Not overly familiar with the Dark Moon concept, but I'm doing some reading. How have you guys been experiencing this Rx?

That's interesting. Yeah, people do seem touchier. Don't know about information flow, though. I'm feeling very *blocked*. Bad case of writer's block (these happen periodically, but this one started before Merc Rx, so can't really blame it). Aside from that, my grey cells ain't workin' at work either.Some of these transits mitigate others, such as Mars transiting into Scorpio (thank God for that, or I'd be in a total slump). The usual underlying depression, and worrying about my cats, until I know they're in the clear, and that poor cat didn't have a serious infectious disease. (Sunday: I brought in a stray cat, in the early hours, when I realized that it wanted to come indoors - and then realized how skinny it was. It had no weight to it at all, and what looked to be a really bad cold. He was sweet, and more interested in company, than he was the food I gave him - although he briefly attacked that. And he died that evening.  His picture is on facebook.) My cats have a vet appointment late this afternoon. I know that something could take longer to show, than a few days, but I want them to be seen. There are also the usual money concerns. IP: Logged |

Hmmm... my husband called me almost an hour ago, the most p/o'd I've heard in long time from him about his job. His first words F**k his boss. This ain't worth it. He didn't want to get into detail, just vented to me for a few. Found it ironic coming to this post and seeing everyone post about getting fired or quiting. This Mercury Rx has me scratching my head like "huh?" I'ma have to dig into the transits tonight!IP: Logged |

Other than being mentally tired and vegging my mind on some superficial YT vids (though YT has been buggy for me of late), I haven't had any bad effects...so far (knock on wood). Though I am rushing to get some jobs done so it's not remarkable that I'm more mentally tired than normal.But strangely, I swear I heard my computer boot up as I walked past this room a few minutes ago. I checked it and all was fine, I have no idea what I heard, but I definitely heard an electronic chirp of some kind. My partner has a Scorpio Mars and she's been more intense lately. It hasn't been bad (at least not for me) but I'm paying closer attention so that it doesn't go bad. Two older guys I know that I email have been having health problems of late, enough to mention it when they usually don't, which probably means it's worse than they say. My BFF is having some office problems, worse than usual, though it could just be an election year since politics and race, slowly building to a boil, is starting to heat up in earnest now, and that usually brings out the worst in people, even the ones who say they want a better world for everyone. On this regard I've been much more apathetic than usual, but that could just tie into my mind being so tired and having more immediate concerns pressing in on me. The post-holiday blues might be a factor as well after a lot of spending and (unpleasant) family visits. I know of at least one couple that is facing very harsh financial realities because one insisted on seeing family several states away for Christmas though it just wasn't feasible but the one who went figured a positive attitude would get them through. He was wrong about the positive attitude and they're currently split and filing for a divorce...wonder if they'll change their mind on the divorce bit after the Merc RX is over (or maybe after they realize just how much worse their finances can get after entering the divorce industry). While one can point out that such doesn't need a Mercury RX to happen (and this foolishness that sparked a divorce this month happened last month), it's been going on for awhile, it's just suddenly the two couldn't work out their differences as usual and THAT might be the Merc RX (and Scorp Mars). My bf quit his job yeaterday because he was fed up with how unstable everyone he works with is. He was originally going to put in his two weeks but decided to not go in at all for his shift. He did the same thing around the last Mercury Rx! Uranus is in his 10th and Pluto in 6th at the moment.Everything seems fine for me so far. I've actually been laughing a lot since last night. Out of nowhere everyone has been posting the most hilarious memes on facebook. I've been laughing equally hard at the same one everytime I look at it. Even today, my ex texted me a link to a hilarious video. I'm kinda diggin' this. IP: Logged |

I'm also exhausted. I haven't been able to wake up, for days now. And my feet are killing me, even though I haven't been on them all day. I'm not angry, but maybe it's subdued because I'm so tired. I would think that Mars in Scorpio contributes into making people feel more intense, explosive. Scorpio is ruled by Mars AND Pluto.Mercury in Aquarius is one of Mercury's STRENGTH-positions. Think about the rulers of Aquarius... Uranus (shocking and electric and quick) and Saturn (strategic, deliberate, focused, staid). I heard one astrologer say that when Mercury turns retro (especially in Aquarius) that the information comes faster, and more! There will be a feast of info (obviously??). Will be re-entering Capricorn, to be with Pluto, and The Sun, and ~Jan 25, will turn back around AS it makes its conjunction again on Pluto Capricorn?? Well, my husband officially quit his job.I mean...we need the money alright, but we're honestly afraid that the supervisor guy at his work is going to lose it and really go off (on my husband, who seems to be this guy's primary target for scapegoating, because my husband is "the new guy"). I thought I was going nuts!This has been a strange week for lots of reasons. Emotionally I feel very sensitive and exploded at my SO on Monday night. I don't even know what came over me but I didn't recognize myself! I also almost walked off my job today out of frustration if it wasn't for my manager who talked me off the ledge. Lots of glitches with the computers at work, our Netflix at home has been acting funny all week with no real explanation. My SO got a $500 ticket yesterday for talking on the phone while driving (his fault but still). Lindaland went down! Crazy... IP: Logged |

I just started training for a tech job.. 7 hours of nonstop soldering and electronics talk per day. I also finally have time to work on several creative projects. I haven't been this happy in years.. o.O 
Must be Mars in Scorpio, mostly, but I have found things, situations, ideas, energy flow -- to be going *exceptionally* smoothly..  Mercury's in my 6th house right now, approaching conjunction to Uranus and Neptune. IP: Logged |

If I look at what happened with the website or I look at Iran and Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world I think this miscommunication cycle has only just begun and do to get worse.
On a personal level my progressed Mercury
has just gone Direct after 21 years and this
T.Mercury RX transit on that personal level has been only a bit different but otherwise the norm now that it is truly retro. I always find the days before the actual retro the worse> when the speed of Mercury viewed from earth is less than half the speed of the Sun. However as IT slipS back into Capricorn and gets closer to the Sun IT will roll backW over my sp Jupiter then IC and natal Jupiter I suspect objectivity will decrease and a sense of subjectivity will increase for all(sun relationship) but hopefully I have been through enough of these I will hold my Tongue( so to speak,lol)
I think the tempo of this MercuryRx will change dramatically after we go through the final degree of Cap which occurr ALMOST exactly within an hour of the New moon.
Also to round that out Jupiter goes SRx 22:40:08 cst TONIGHT.
Someone please post on that,
Jupiter Rx conjunct node with a square from Moon. ------------------

As good as you could consider mercury rx, this is a good one for me. Sure, there are annoyances, negative abnormalities, etc. I've been more calm than usual and pretty much not giving a crap about much. 
I did something dumb at work and another guy has been making sure to be publicly insulting about it in two morning meetings so far.
Another guy said something to me later, I suppose expecting me to be upset. I said, "Oh screw him." and I carried on. IP: Logged |
