Virgos have a very dry sense of humor. We can usually make people laugh by just being ourselves, even though we don't usually find the things we say funny. Our quirks are just humorous to others, I think.

Gemini is really funny. My Gemini Moon/Mars tends to crack my Aries Moon mother up a lot. I definitely play up the "double-sided" or "twins" thing at home. I talk to myself while I do stuff, and the running commentary inside my head tends to slip out at unexpected moments. Our imaginations make us funny, IMO, especially when we decide to express what we're thinking out loud. We can take a joke "to the next level" because of our imaginations, but we often have a hard time keeping a straight face (or at least I do).

Roseanne Barr is a Gemini Moon. She often had a hard time keeping a straight face during her TV show during a really funny moment. I've always liked her sense of humor.

Both signs are masters of sarcasm. Match that with a critical eye, and we kind find just about anything funny about any situation, people, or place. For Gemini, I think that quality especially plays into our trait of not taking anything too seriously.

Another sign that is unexpectedly funny is Sagittarius. My brother is a Scorpio Moon/Sag rising. His sense of humor is unexpected, somewhat twisted at times, and wickedly sarcastic. He can tell a joke with a straight face, and when he laughs, it's a whole-body laugh that takes him a few minutes to recover from.

I want to just express my deep gratitude to Lindaland for the number of words of wisdom to my threads and birthday wishes - it is really strange to say that one of the biggest sources of comfort this week was on an astrology forum! But it's true, and it's also not the first time.

Back to the thread point: I agree, to me it seems like Mercury based people are funniest because they often communicate things that everyone RELATES to the best - like how Gemini influenced people can't keep a straight face (Does anyone know Jimmy Fallon's sign info? I haven't checked yet. He tends to blow his own jokes laughing,but it's funny when he does).

I do think Caps can be funny too - a lot of times it's darker and at our own expense. Like welp, life is pretty [bleeeeeep]!

Lol, I love it! "shell-phone" ha ha ha. Pisces are really creative so they have the ability to surprise you. My Pisces Sun son is a quiet gentle giant. Actually with his older brother being so intellectual and verbally expressive and articulate, I had a hard time slowing down so I could catch what Pisces had going on. No. He didn't want to discuss satire, irony, and sarcasm. He understood it intuitively and wanted to demonstrate!

I did some digging and learned that Jimmy Fallon is a heavy Jupiter dominant, and his MC is in Sagittarius! This is why I love astrology
