Well, this year my progressed Sun-Mars-Pluto are conjunct my progressed Malala. All within 2° of each other.

That's just beautiful. Thanks for remembering, and telling me!

Good luck...and MORE good luck!!!

Expansion in learning . In fact I have been hungry for knowledge in many areas . Physically I've grown a bit (reading makes fitness a challenge and snacking whilst reading has played a role - my bad there). Virgo is my 9th where my natal Pluto resides so the topics are many that I've been digging into. Like an archeological dig.
Astrology hss always interested so I'm delving in here as well; however there are many other areas and my desire to learn is bigger thsn it ever was.

Aww, that's so sweet! And bang on time, too... Tr sun *and Tr Jupiter on your Jupiter!! Hell yes, astrology is true..
Thanks for your good wishes.

The person responsible for it all, has his sun in the sign of my Jupiter. And a ton of Jupiter contacts with me. So uncanny.

Although I dunno what's up with the stars.. I'm having major cold feet/anxiety. All the arrangements are in shambles and it all feels impossible. Want to cancel everything and run away. Hoping that's just a phase..

Aargh. SOrry, gotta stay positive at least on a Jupiter thread.

Jupiter’s second hit in the spring sucked.
I had a good job until March but it was only a temporary contract - replacement, and even if my unit wanted to keep me it couldn’t finally be prolonged. So I started looking for a new job in March but my applications received no interest, I was hoping Jupiter conjunct my ASC and Sun in the 1st house would help but it didn’t. Saturn was squaring both as well in the same time though.
I’ve had a lot of problems with my career since the fall 2012, when first Chiron and later Neptune were squaring my MC, plus some other difficult transits… Things started improving only in 2015 and I really didn’t want to go through the same nightmare again.

But with the third hit of Jupiter to my natal Sun in July I finally got a job offer! (Jupiter was 2 deg. separating from my Sun when it happened, as was tr NN).

The job is pretty cool! It’s a government institution and I will have an opportunity to really make a difference and improve things for a certain community with which I strongly identify. It’s not a job, it’s a mission! lol. I would be a dream job but the only problem is that it’s really underpaid…

What is interesting is that I am now also having tr Neptune (6th house) trine my natal NN in the 10th house, in Cancer. It would make sense: a job for highly idealistic rather than purely materialistic considerations. I only hope that I am not fooling myself….

Elysia,

I think everything has just been hard these past few days. Uphill battles. Even things that ought to be easy are feeling ridiculously tripped-up.

I just try to accept it. In my mind I'm thinking, "Okay, God, sooooo even the smallest things are an obstacle course lately? And everything backfires? Right...I will just use the time for strength training."

I'm sure you are doing your best and it will turn out right for you one way or another. What can go wrong if you are doing your best? You know?

Sorry if that sounds like oversimplifying.

I'm happy a Jupiter person helped you in Jupiterian ways! Hope they stick around? So it's a gift that keeps on giving.

Good luck!

I know what you mean...or I think I do....

Life is brutal enough at your age, venturing into the world of money and education, where everything is ultra serious...without the emotional safety net of parents, it's even harder. Been there. All I can do is wish you the best and remember to keep calm...everything is actually going exactly according to plan! (For once, believe the stars have it all mapped out for you. Then the burden of free will is not so heavy.) You're smart and it's going to work out great. Just might not always seem that way, at every turn in the road.

(((hug))) It'll be okay, really.

Don't be sorry! Sounds like you are in a massively hard life situation at this point. Is there anything you can do to feel better? More certain?

I feel so sad reading about where you are in life. I've had that envy, too....it was never an everyday thing, but sometimes...even now, sometimes, it hits me.

Cancer moon time can be a low point of the month. Maybe the Leo new moon will give you a brighter outlook again. Let's hope so! Just hang in there. Tr Pluto wants to rough us up, okay, okay whatever...we just have to stay alive and sane. Breathe in and out.

Never, never had such a massive loss of faith before. I'm at the end of my rope.

I'm not usually so vocal about it either (thought I may not be articulating the extent of it, trying to zoom out of the situation and tone it down). Wonder what transits are doing that..

Let me know if you want me to erase my posts, too.

I know, you never complain. So you're entitled to now...you've saved up all your complaining rights and can have a little splurge.

So this is about grad school? And they demand paperwork or something you cannot provide? If so, I assume you've tried talking to admissions and explaining?

I don't want to offend you by trying to go into detail when you'd rather leave it vague, but I guess my point is, if you can't go, is there a way to look at the situation differently, see the positive? Or is this a great goal that is very, very important to you? If it's a huge goal that you feel you need to accomplish, and it doesn't turn out for you this time, maybe you can put it on hold and try for another school next time? You're brilliant and I know you could handle the coursework. So there's no reason anyone would bar you from entering on the basis of what SHOULD be the basis: competence.

All I want for you is peace (and shelter and food and safety and emotional well-being, and money, and if you want a cute boyfriend, that, too.) But peace really is important. Sometimes we just have to relax and go with the flow even when it looks like the flow is taking us over a waterfall. If we resist, it might damage us worse. You know what I mean, sh*t happens and then it's on us to manage our insides so we don't implode.

I'll delete later and sorry if I'm way off base or guessed things wrong. Hug again.

A Government job that doesn't pay well?

Could I ask what degree your Genini Sun is?

I'm a Gemini Asc and I've started job hunting.
I fear not making much as I am use to hourly. But for full time and benefits will make it worth settling. I like what I make per hour, but they wont give me full time, or benefits.

I was feeling metaphoric yesterday, and told my dad that looking for a job is a lot like dating. Exiting and dreadful.
You also have to create a profile like online dating. haha

Neptune is transiting my 10th house, and went retrograde AGAIN. I wonder how this will play out in my career.

No, you're not offending me at all, Faith. Quite the opposite.

Yeah, something like what you described - is a part of the situation. There's stuff in each of the three spheres (academic, professional, personal) that's in the way.

But, other than the real-life obstacles, it's also the weird feeling in me that now, *I* don't want it. What you wrote in that last paragraph, I swear that's almost exactly what I've been thinking these past few days.

If one wants a good life, one has to stretch a bit, pay one's dues.. I thought turbulence is worth it if you get that one quality you seek, whatever it is. Grad school was important to me in more ways than just education. No doubt about that. But now I don't even want that anymore. I want to cancel everything and go far away and start over. I want peace. Even if it means a humdrum life. What's so wrong with that anyway? I don't care anymore. I want a quiet, peaceful life. No more life or death or worse scenarios. But my grad school is also tied in to my job - a work+school arrangement. So I can't even back out without flaking out on my whole career and majorly disappointing those who've made it possible.

P.S. Sorry 'bout erasing my posts, feel faintly embarrassed about spewing stuff here. You can leave yours up or delete them - either way is fine with me. Seeing your words there actually feels good..

I like the combination I have going on.
Saturn in my 7th, Jupiter in my 4th, and Jupiter in opposite sign of my Venus.

I moved in with boyfriend.

When Jupiter is in Libra, will this put a ring on my finger for my Aries Sun? LOL We'll see!

@Elysia

I'm relieved you and I are on the same page about the importance of having peace. With respect to the work + school arrangement, if it's impossible, it's impossible. Cap energy has a really hard time seeing limitations. We always think walls are there just to be crashed through..."See, I proved it's not a wall after all, haha and you suckers actually believed it was impenetrable? Lazy much?"

That's what Capricorn is. We don't give ourselves any breaks ever. The voice in our head says: So what if it's impossible? Do it anyway, or kill yourself trying. That's the only honorable way to deal with imposed limitations.

Like this song and video (no need to watch if you're busy, but it's SO Capricorn conjunct Pluto): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mk48xRzuNvA

Anyway, my life experience is teaching me that wisdom is not crashing through every ******* wall that presents itself and claims to be important. We have to select our challenges more carefully.

How can you disappoint anyone when you tried your best but it didn't work out? If they are worth the concern, they will see your predicament and not hold anything against you. They will be your friend through it. And why is their disappointment more a concern than your own suffering? 12H moon?

I think one problem that parentless children have is seeing that we are entitled to take up space. Everyone else's concerns seem to come before ours because, we are not used to having OUR needs seen by others, and defended. It almost seems like we have no actual needs if there is no one there to recognize them and validate them. All needs just become wishes, and wishes are not that important...But I think we do have needs, and to meet our needs we have spend some time getting to know ourselves, our loves, and our limitations (they can actually be friends, holding us together, like forces pushing in on us like a hug...does that make sense?).

Another sermon, I'm on a roll.

Sorry but you know I just want to comfort you. Cannot stand to see you distressed like this.

PS I don't want you to feel pressured to keep up this conversation, feel free to reply or not...I won't go on forever with pep talks, that would be annoying I know.

Your entire post brought tears to my eyes. It's so true, all of it.

Life itself is more important than all these things we think are huge at the time. I'm not good at keeping these things 'in perspective', which I should.

For now, these next few days will decide what happens. Let's see.

Thank you for caring and taking the time to talk to me, Faith. It's such an ordeal to try to explain any of this to people. They either don't get it or just don't care. You got it without any of the specifics either..! I guess all it takes is true empathy..

P.S. that video link doesn't open on the phone coz it's super slow.. Will watch it when I get home.

My Sun is in Virgo, 17 deg and was conjunct by Jupiter (app. 2 deg separating) when I got the job. But my Moon is in Gemini, 10th house and is being currently opposed by Saturn. It affects more my relationships with others though.

Much depends on what aspects Neptune will make while transiting your 10th house. If it's trine/sextile a natal planet it might bring opportunities but if it makes hard aspects then you might experience some disillusionment. I have came out of tr Neptune square MC from the 6th house and it was no picnic at all..
