For example, a Virgo Ascendant guy wouldn't catch the attention of a Sagittarius Venus girl at first(in synastry his ASC square her Venus). BUT what if natally he has his Jupiter aspecting(conj, square, trine, sextile) the ASC very tight(orb under 2 degrees)?

Because I read that planets aspecting the ASC "changes" the appearance...

As an Asc in Taurus, I have dated Sun in Taurus the most. It just feels natural to be with them. And they are often drawn to me because they think I am "easy going".

I haven't dated a Venus conjunct my Mars yet. But I do tend to like them too.

Mars/Mars attraction is the most common for me. If there is a conjunct aspect between our Mars, it is likely that I want you to come a little bit closer

Sun/Mars is absolutely wonderful for friendship- even the trine works IME. A lot of Air Sun signs are friends of mine and that is because of my only planet in air- Mars in Libra.

7th house attraction hasn't happened yet for me. But I know that for many it is often a "stamp" for long-term relationship, bond and/or marriage.

There are SO many variables.

Virgo ASC might catch my (Sag Venus) eye if the ASC is trine my Cap sun, or opposes my Pisces moon (putting my moon on their DSC.)

My Mars/Venus midpoint is at 11 Virgo, so an ASC landing there would resonate.

Also my Venus might fall on their IC.

I think Venus-ASC synastry is not as powerful as sun-Venus. In fact I can't even think of a particular ASC that consistently gets my attention, except maybe Sag.

* Neutral or positive thinking towards all ascendants. It's interesting when ASCs are conjunct my personal planets or angles, but I don't think they are inherently better, just because we click.

* No dislike for any sun sign.

I haven't found anyone I liked extremely lately. I'm pretty superficial... But for personality, I can get along with just about anybody, so it's hard.

So, this is just about feeling attracted, not crushing because you talk to them a lot and etc. Just attraction from passing by to causal conversation.

I'm gonna do suns but I do have other placements in mind. While there are differences I'm being very general.
