I just saw this review of a Buffy ep, and there's a monologue by the reviewer that I think fits here, on selfless love vs. selfish love (obsession) for about 2 and a half minutes starting here:
http://youtu.be/LsBpwh0cQtc?t=4m12s The soulless/obsessive love was one of consumption, taking what they wanted even if it hurt their partner (of course they wouldn't WANT it to hurt, but better the other one hurt than the one obsessed). The description of soulless/vampiric love reminds me of this song about mutually destructive love that topped charts in various countries when it came out (strongly implying that many could relate to this type of love):

I choose "B". I am very passionate, fiery, and I love deeply. "A" sounds like a friendship/lukewarm kind of feeling to me.Sagittarius Venus in the 5th house
