Topic: What's going on with Mercury right now?

I read a blurb that said Mercury is still in shadow, but is going fully direct in a couple of days or so (or something to that extent).I thought it had gone direct weeks ago? But admittedly, I've been feeling like there's been an extended Mercury Rx transit since it went direct, and I haven't been able to find any personal transits that would point to that. Anyone have input?
Mars was square my Mercury a while back, and square my husband's Mars/NN, but it feel like those transits are still going. Lots of misunderstandings, nothing moving, bottlenecks, etc. IP: Logged |

I think the shadow is when it's regaining the ground that it lost.So if Mercury made it to 2 Aquarius, then turned Rx...then direct....it's in the shadow until Aqua 2 again.  My pr Mercury has been either Rx or in shadow since I was 8 years old. Explains a lot.  Oops no offense to those with Mercury Rx natally! I think the progressed Rx energy is different...it feels more like an external restraint that you are fighting, rather than a natural impulse (?) Because it's not my actual natal Mercury direction. That makes sense about the shadow (I'm not sure why I've never paid any attention to that before). Does it act similarly to Mercury Rx? Otherwise, I might have to start looking at transiting asteroids or something, because communication flow and generally everything is really off right now in my world. IP: Logged |

No, it just slaps you one last time before moving on. The threshold is a delicate point; similar thing happens when outers change signs. I think this one was a bit harsher because it went over Pluto which in turn was aggregated by New Moon. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I had a threatened miscarriage and I'm still on bed rest for now, in addition to a lot of other time consuming things like finding a new doctor and place to rent after relocating this month.It passed over my Mars at 26 Capricorn a while back, but that actually seemed to expedite a ton of information, rather than creating the stressful scenarios we've been dealing with lately. (Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that my family is okay.) I'm hoping that when it passes tomorrow, it could possibly feel like a positive relief. IP: Logged |

I hope you are doing well Violets. I hope you get well soon. The shadow of Mercury RX is often more powerful, especially this one because of strong aspects going with with Lilith BM as well. One final slap huh?! that explains what happened to me the first week of February! I was like confused that incident happened after a week and 3 days mercury went direct, that day it was in cap @20d so based on what Faith mentioned it would still be in the shadows. Today is in Aqua @2d26 so it should be out of the shadows right after Valentines, finally. Thank God, I feel this mer rx was a pain for me, perhaps bc uranus rules my 3rd? When the incident happened transit mercury in the shadows in cap was trining by about 3d my own natal mercury rx and I have mercury semisquare saturn so perhaps it been in Capri and trining my mercury really activated that specific aspect for me of mercury semisquare saturn. Ephemeris: Mercury was Direct Dec 1 2015 and all throughout December. It went Retro January 6 2016 in Aqua @1d00 It went Direct again January 26 in Capri @14d55 Valentines Day Feb 14 mercury is in aqua @1d09 so as of yesterday its no longer in the shadows! yay. On Feb 4 come to think of it Transit Saturn was squaring my Mercury.........so that day I had transit Mercury in Capricorn trining my natal mercury by 3d and Transit Saturn squaring my mercury by 3d so yeah that is really why that day I had that issue occur. Transit mercury was trining my own mercury and was been disposited by Saturn which was squaring my mercury as well and to top it off I have natally mercury semisquare saturn so yeah! But I could see how mercury in the shadows would affect communication, interesting. IP: Logged |

Everything has felt so kooky since January. Saturn is no longer squaring my chart ruler (Mercury) so I can't blame it on that. Much like Hypatia I got into a massive miscommunication with someone in my life the first week of February and we haven't spoken since, which is is effecting me in the weirdest way. Everything feels loopy and off. Can't wait until the vibe passes. On another note I'm glad your health is doing much better Violets IP: Logged |

Thank you. Yeah, everything has felt really frustrating and congested for me since January as well! Mercury Rx was an odd one for me, because it was conjunct my natal Mars for a while, and trine my husband's Pluto, and trine my son's Sun. So we got a weird rush of news at that time, all very positive. But almost as soon as Mercury went direct, T Mars was opposing my natal Mercury/Dsc, and square my husband's Mars/NN. And, although those transits have passed, it has definitely not felt that way! If it's out of shadow, I'm not sure why everything still feels all whacky, but maybe tomorrow (since today is a holiday in the US), we will start hearing back from people we've been waiting on for the last week or so. We've been here for over ten days, looking for a place to rent, with not much luck, and my husband bought a used vehicle off Craigslist, and it became immediately apparent that it needed more work than the seller had mentioned, so we're waiting to find out what needs to be done, etc. It really does still feel like a Mercury Rx/ Mars/Mercury transit still! ughhh, my SO and I had quite an intense 2-week argument. Or..not one argument but it was quite heated and we both were not hearing the other person out, leading to alot of frustration. Yesterday, things got heated too but we both didn't want to fight anymore and tried so hard to wave the i-surrender-flag-please!We were both hurt, miscommunication was everywhere all over the place, day to day, which led to more intense encounters..ugh. No more, please. haha
