It's pretty surreal (like if I cursed at a random cat I'd get chased by swooping magpies. Ok maybe not that weird, but you catch my drift). I started to pay attention at an early age, whenever I did something *bad* I reaped what I sow fast. I have some Machiavellian traits and a desire to slither around finding loopholes (things like hacking interest me greatly). Knowing that karma is just around the corner certainly steers me towards "the light", or at least keeps me from going over to "the dark" lol. It's in my 7th house, I wonder if that's the reason why the people who are close to me all have rather firm codes of morals and ethics (like my s.o, who has jupiter in the 1st - quite a principled person). I have a certain set that I follow. But most of the time I like to stay in gray areas, rather than subscribe to moral absolutes. There's this article that I find quite interesting. http://www.lynnkoiner.com/astrology-articles/retrogrades-in-the-natal-horoscope
Jupiter R in the 10th will often go back to college to improve their professional skills. They should not change their job just when success is at their door step. Recognition definitely comes after their first Saturn Return or the 3rd Jupiter Return.
Thank you for the link. I've read somewhere that Jupiter retrograde folks' luck changes for the better after 30. I've even read 35. I'm 27. Damn! 3 to 8 more years of this crap? LMAO.

Hello everyone!I also have Jupiter Retrograde in the 3rd house, in the sign of Taurus. I had no trouble with finishing my education, i got a Bachelor's Degree. Not that it has been of much use (yet)... I can relate to the instant karma in some situations and i think my personal placement makes me give a lot quite readily. Being generous has not really been to my benefit though, i often find people abusing me with this and expecting me to give endlessly with nothing in return. Here's another report on the subject:
Jupiter is Retrograde
You are concerned with growth and expansion, but find it difficult to achieve. Success or luck may elude you. In a prior life, you may have refused to change with the times, holding on to outmoded ideas and ideals. In each life, you learn lessons and grow. Since you chose not to make changes in one life, it is necessary for you to go through the lessons of that life again. Your lesson in this lifetime is to determine which opportunities offered to you will create the greatest amount of personal (inner) growth and expansion. When you make your changes, success will occur on the outside as well. IP: Logged |

Nice analysis!

i have Jupiter rx in the 12th house and its my 3rd ruler SQUARE my CHART RULER in the 3rd house. i talk to myself a lot when i go through hard difficult situations. i was very insecure while growing up i had no confidence. my education was horrible and the education system that i grew up in screwed me over. the public school district put me in special education because i was to reckless in class and often daydreamed a lot in class and i was mostly daydreaming about boys.... lol....jupiter square venus here!! hahahah!!! i always had a hard time with speeches, performing in front of others (I'm an artist/singer) whenever i was under the influence such as alcohol or drugs i would then become the SPOTLIGHT! and perform ten times better. anyways...i switched majors through out my teens and college so much. i went to 3 different universities. I still have a hard time figuring out what major i should pursue in terms of my career because i am very career oriented (i have a cap stellium). being a jupiter R in the 12th house as my 3rd ruler gave me the gift of being a clairvoyant and heavy lucid dreamer. if i wanted to become a shaman i know i have the gift to do that because of the fact that i am VERY empathetic and can feel people's energies so much that they often latch onto me but thank god that i talk to my higher self and my guardian or god to wash away any negative energy that is latched onto me. I feel very uneasy when i walk into hospitals, grave yards, etc. but i have learned to manage my gift of spiritual perception and i simply block anything that tries to come through. For instance, i was visiting Prague a month ago and the first night in the hotel that i slept in Prague (czech republic) felt a STRONG presence in the room, i saw a demon or someone that was possessed and has been part of the city haunt for ages, the energy felt ANCIENT and it was demonic. i woke up and was like "i have not experienced demon's in a loooooong time how strange that this happened to me" i go out in the lobby of the hotel and i find a brochure with the title "PRAGUE ONE OF THE MOST HAUNTED CITIES IN THE WORLD"......i was baffled....LOL i also have my own spiritual philosophy because i' am clairvoyant and i do receive messages and teachings from my spiritual teachers. that's my jupiter retro in the 12th house...... ------------------ Addicted to Self Relfection - Jupiter R in the 12th House IP: Logged |

lol angel4845 those were some cute/funny stories!I forgot to acknowledge that at one point in my life i had a few great options for university studies but they all fell apart and i went in to the university that i swore i would never attend to... I also have a Capricorn Stellium and it seems difficult for me to find a fulfilling career. I can relate to generally having a hard time with my speech unless i am totally relaxed and loosen up by sugary foods. Otherwise i would not speak much unless i feel comfortable in the company. I have it retro in Sag, in the 10th. I've been very lucky in career matters, even though my studies took forever (basically until the age of 31) and I had to work very hard to get where I am now. However, opportunities fell in my lap a few times, some I refused because internally they felt wrong. Possibly the one I regret the most is turning down a teaching assistant position. But in the end things ended up quite well even without that. I think I would've liked to teach however Sag energy is where my SN is so I'm trying to not let it run my life lol. Kinda hard with 4 planets in that sign but I manage. I have high morals that are very important to me and I'm an agnostic. I'm very adamant about not marrying in the church and not baptizing my kids. In my circle I am a riot! lol Possibly because Jup conjuncts Uranus in the 10th. IP: Logged |

I believe that your Jupiter retrograde is mitigated due it being in Sagittarius. And it is also in the 10th house, giving you an extra boost in career matters. Mine is retrograde, and in a detrimental sign, and a detrimental house (3rd house). IP: Logged |
