Not to generalize but from my personal experience people with strong Gemini or Scorpio placements l, but particularly gemini. That's just from my experience though. I'm sure lots are not like that though!IP: Logged |

The most gossipy people I know are definitely Leos, but then again I only know 6 or 7. Oh, and Pisces too. Including me hahaha IP: Logged |

I am. I'm always on the know of things, and I'm always the first to let others know.
It's just sooo~ interesting.
I do put a limit when I know it's a secret.

When I was in high school, gossip was so rampant that me and friends of mine made a game out of it that we called "rumors." The point was to plant a barely believable rumor (nothing cruel, mind you) and watch it grow. It was morbidly fascinating how it would get back to us, all grown, and wilder, and with people who "witnessed" it so they know it was true. And then one day we made the mistake of saying someone (a friend of ours) who didn't show up on Friday was because she was recovering from a suicide attempt. When I got on the bus Monday, many were asking me about the "suicide" as over the weekend it had grown into she had actually died, and there were people who swore they saw the body being carried away!  Our friend was rather annoyed saying her parents were getting calls from kids and adults both about it which freaked them out. Not only had the rumor spread like fire through the kids, but also the adults! That was intense enough that we never played the game again (which is more than we can say for most people, any age). And as they say, high school never ends. Gossip is a major component of office politics (and taking part, or at least paying attention, can be seen as job maintenance), rumor panics still afflict society (like when people were staying home scared of anthrax because of all the wild rumors of it showing up), it makes up the more popular news (which actress is pregnant or having an affair or is gay, for example), the tabloids, the countless email spam (last Halloween was the most subdued I ever seen it, and I'm sure this rumor panic was a big reason for why), and on top of that the more trivial gossip is like talking about the weather, only more interesting (and may have darker motivations), and gossip is not only a way to bond, but also to entertain. IOW, it's something a great many engage in when they're bored. Take away our TVs and even more gossip would replace it (especially as society lost its fix from the gossip on TV). Generally speaking, it's something we all constantly feed off of, though we may not consider it all gossip since we wrongly assume what's being said is true rather than hearsay given another common factor of our species--gullibility. I have Gemini Mars in the 11H and I like talking about people.I like reading about people. Half the time, if I'm reading a book, it's a biography or memoir. I just find people interesting. But there are a lot of things I will not say. I tend to keep in mind what the person I'm talking about is like...and would they mind if I told this other person something about them? I almost feel like I shouldn't be friends with strictly private people since I am so fond of talking about my friends. My friend said this, my friend said that. One day I asked my best friend if it was okay if I posted her chart here, and her reply was that she loves attention and I can say whatever I want about her. That's why she's my best friend. Gemini sun or Gemini placements people love to gossip and they love to spread it. Scorpio is more nosy though, and likes to go through your stuff and read your messages to get the dirt on you. Aquarius and Aries seem to love poking their noses into other people's business, and comparing their lives to the rest of their peers. I remember an Aries friend of mine asked me when she saw her FB friends getting married one by one, she asked me, "Why are they all getting married"? Since has no plans of settling down anytime soon. I'm like, "That's normal. We are in our late 20's already!" (that time). She even urged me to go to my cousin's wedding when I'm not even invited (only my dad), I dunno why, probably unconsiously passing off her nosy ways at me. And when our batchmates post bikini pics, she makes fun of those girls that were nerdy or ugly that are in bikini shots and saying, "We're left behind when it comes to posting swimsuit shots!" I have no desire to post such photos, thank you. Lol.IP: Logged |

I'm a Gemini rising and Venus in Gemini. I find that I constantly stop myself from gossiping. The urge is there often, but I say in my head "if it's not your story to tell, don't tell it " . When someone confides in me , I never repeat it. Ever. But if it's common knowledge , I do love to talk but not in a negative way. I just like to figure people out. I find strong Scorpio people
