If they are both traditionally ruled by Mars...why wouldn't they both (in modern astrology) rule Pluto? Does Aries have any natural Plutonian tendencies? Opinions below 😊IP: Logged |

I find it difficult to associate Aries with Pluto. When I think of Pluto, I think of this dark, mystic planet where all death comes to sight and the beauty of transformation is enveloped within this dark energy. When I think of Aries, I think of someone who's confident and outgoing, running out into the world and saying, "Hey, I am me! This is who I am!" Whereas Pluto is not expressive of such qualities. Scorpio is not as expressive as Aries, and tends to be more secretive and dark. Aries is action aka Mars, and Scorpio is depth aka Pluto. Aries just doesn't seem to be as deep as a sign like Scorpio; it's more simplistic. For example: Let's say you had a Starbucks coffee and you dropped it on the ground. Aries: "Oh crap, I dropped my coffee on the ground, that sucks so much! ARGHAHGA!" (explosive anger) Scorpio: "NOOOO!!! I've dropped my exquisite, delicious Starbucks and the coffee has contaminated the ground whilst spreading with every passing second as I sit here in despair at the loss of my delicious coffee! :O :O :O" (overly dramatic despair over loss of coffee) That's my opinion at least IP: Logged |

The lid popped off my tea, in a bookstore cafe recently, and as I looked embarrassed, at a couple of men who looked up at me, wondering what the hell was going on, I silently swore and cleaned it up with a napkin. I felt like thanking them for their help (which was never offered). If someone does something like that in public, I feel compelled to help. Aries with Scorpio rising. IP: Logged |

A good example of Aries and Pluto energy is the Undertaker from WWE/WWF ------------------ "Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom." - Thomas Jefferson AE IP: Logged |

Yeah I agree Aries is the hot football star player with anger issues who inspires the team and gets everyone riled up "Are we going to win this game or what??" He jokes with the team mates . He's immatureScorpio is a football player also-- more serious on the other hand. He actually fights with other team if they bad mouth him. He's mature He knows every players weakness from careful observation in past experiences and he uses that his advantage IP: Logged |

I'm pointing out differences/similarities based on what I've noticed observing people that I know with those placements:1) Very energetic and passionate nature. Aries directs the energy outwards, the vigor is openly expressed, visible. Scorpio directs the energy inwards and keeps it secret, invisible: they can show you an apparent coolness/coldness even if they are burning on the inside. 2) Willpower to get things done. Aries does better with short term goals: no procrastination with these guys. Scorpio does better with long term goals, specially if you doubt or challenge them: they are able to go through hell just to make you "bow your tongue". 3) Anger management issues. Aries blow up at the moment, no self control. Scorpio can hide and hold it for a lifetime: I know a few cases of revenge after years. 4) Jealousy. Aries will let you know like a bully. Scorpio will never admit that easily and give you power over him. 5) Aries is the courageous warrior/open enemy that you can clearly see, who attacks from the front, in the light of the day (diurnal Mars). Scorpio is the strategist warrior/hidden enemy that is in the shadows, who attacks from the back, during the night (Pluto = higher octave of Mars/nocturnal Mars). I could say that Pluto is a "sofisticated" version of Mars for the good and the bad. While Mars spends the energy, Pluto retains it. A refined Pluto can use all its energy to make one develop the higher self and experience/promote healing and spiritual growth. An unevolved Pluto can make one reach the bottom of the underworld and experience/promote serious destruction and spiritual stagnation. IP: Logged |

Aries = Firecracker Scorpio = erupting, seething volcanoAries - in the moment, like a thunder storm that comes and goes Scorpio - long term, long range, a long cold snap in the winter where the weather hits -40 C Aries = no drama, pushes forward Scorpio = intense drama, grudges etc I'm an Aries with a Scorpio....if somebody did me wrong, I'd chalk it up as a lesson, move forward and avoid the person....if somebody did that to my boyfriend...much venom and plotting to destroy the other person over time....he gets raging angry, it scares the socks off of me and I want to go hide.... I would also add that Scorpio can be a true dirty player. While Aries maybe is less of a dirty player.IP: Logged |

Contrary to popular belief, I actually find Aries to not all be as aggressive and assertive as spoken about. Most of them have such a naivety about them, there is a childlike enthusiasm in their approach. Scorpio is a lot less open. Not because they are "dodge". But because their approach to life is to look thoroughly first before opening up. Aries always opens up quicker and is not likely to be all that mysterious. I find that Moon in signs will tell the difference i.e A Aries Sun/Moon in Scorpio or Moon/Pluto tight aspect person will not be so "plain sight" in personality. A Scorpio with Moon in Aries/Moon/Mars tight aspect will find it hard NOT to be "plain sight". Their emotional nature will tend towards outward expression than the former. IP: Logged |

I don't think Aries has Plutonian tendancies but I think that Scorpio has Mars/Aries tendanices if that makes sense. I know the traditional ruler of Scorpio is Mars and I personally consider that Scorpio is ruled by both Mars and Pluto (with Pluto being the main ruler). I'm an Aries with Scorpio Moon and I can see the differences between these placements and with people with Aries Moons. They are completely different. Aries is overtly more aggressive/assertive and A LOT less sneaky/secretive, controlled, and vengeful as Scorpio Scorpio is very clandestine. Scorpio at is best have similarities with Aries. Scorpio at is worst is not similar to Aries. Random but I feel if the world were to end and there were rules/laws/punishment Scorpio would be just like Aries, except smarter/evil/cruel. IP: Logged |
