Normal decor includes artwork done by my mom, my father in-law, myself, and my husband, all very colorful (my mom does the painting, the rest of us do photography when we're feeling spiffy).
Candles are usually around, crystals, vintage coffee tables, and a plethora of toys and stuffed animals that my son keeps around the house. My personal style used to be much more interesting and fashionable, but lately I just try not to look like an idiot. So I go with something similar to this (minus the sunglasses, and my bag is knit not fringed).
Sorry the picture is so huge. Music I've been listening to lately. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSxiiY7OaG0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ACph7MFYyo

@EnnelineLove the hanging lamps and layered outfits. *** (I don't mean to comment incessantly on this thread, I just have a fun time with the style/fashion side of astrology). Edit I guess the home decor style that I prefer the most is referred to as "bohemian", "hippie", "hippie boho", whatever. It's sort of like slapping genre labels on music, which I also avoid. Call it my Uranus/IC conjunction and Aqua Mercury, I guess. IP: Logged |

Venus Pisces house 10 square Gemini ASC sextile Mercury Taurus house 12 trine Jupiter Cancer house 2~CLOTHES~ Today I am wearing a black mullet skirt from Mejers. Comfy cloth material. I'm wearing it with a purple snake skin cardigan sweater that is quarter length from TJ Maxx. It's 43 degrees here, none of my black leggings are clean, so I'll probably put on some fish net tights. I don't work today so why not? They are more comfy than regular tights. Why be uncomfortable on my day off? And with some black knee boots, or my black rain boots. It is raining outside, and depending where else I go today. I've developed this weird habit where I plan out my outfits for the entire month. It's extreme, but it keeps me organized and on time for places. It's pretty fun, I drink hard cider listen to music, plan out and try on my clothes. LOL I like variety. I like wearing different colors materials and styles. I try to shop somewhere different for each shopping spree. I just feel lame if I always shop at the same ol place, and I don't like to feel limited and boring. I also stick to a budget when I shop. Ideally I would like to take myself shopping once a month. But being a working student, I don't always have time for that. I bought a coral pencil skirt at Bebe the last time I went shopping. http://www.bebe.com/Clothing/Bottoms/Skirts/Mix-Stitch-Sw eater-Skirt/pc/636/c/218/sc/221/103818.pro?selectedColor=poy I also pay attention to those, "I have nothing to wear moments." Or if I don't have something to wear with a particular. I make a list on my phone, of things to look for when I go shopping. Like I notice I don't have a lot of dark green clothes and would like to add more of it into my wardrobe, like dark green sweater dresses, and skirts. I need more leggings! So I can wear skirts and dresses when it's cold outside! I need some in different colors. I need more leggings that compliment my earth tone colored clothes. Like white, and light blue. Going to the mall on my day off in sweat pants, I realized. I have no shoes I can wear with sweatpants!(recently got rid of my moccasins) and had to go in my gym/running/hiking tennis shoes. So I am keeping my eye out for shoes good for that. Also I am moving out of my parents and in with my boyfriend. So I am looking forward to finally being able buy sexy, romantic, skimpy pajamas! I also need a new bath robe, I've had a hot pink terry one for many years and it's getting worn out. ~Clothing likes~ Lace Snake skin Dresses Sweater dresses Skirts Wearing black with color Leggings under dresses, skirts, long shirts, (under shorts only if I am working out and it's chilly outside.) Wearing yellow in the spring Favorite band shirts Flannels Skinny pants, especially in winter and boots are necessary here. Shirts of my favorite video games and shows ~Clothing Dislikes~ Wearing dark brown with black Wearing yellow in winter(makes me feel like a pile of p1ss in the snow) Navy blue with black Bright colored pants/skirt with a shirt. (makes me feel like I'm dressing like a little kid) Leggings worn as pants Shirts with words on them like name of the store. Or something like "I'm so cute" Another thing that really irks me, that really doesn't belong on the list are people that look down on you if don't only shop at Walmart or the Salvation Army. If you ever go somewhere nicer for clothes, you're a sucker, or a snob. I cannot stand that mentality. I also can't stand the mentality of having people turn their nose up to you for not always going somewhere nice and pricey for clothes, or having brands that make you hot sh1t. I deal with the first one a lot more though now that I'm not a middle school high school girl. lol Speaking of middle school... since middle school, I've always wanted an overall skirt. I'm 25,and this still hasn't happened!

I thought it worth adding that my general preference is for a balance of two colors with a splash of a 3rd. The only stipulation is that the colors should "belong" together (so all 3 colors will be pastel or electric or natural or whatever "flavor" of color). Perhaps that matches that I have 2 evenly balanced (or close) stelliums with one planet in the sign between them.IP: Logged |

But, also somewhat ethereal. I just picture myself fading away into a fog. Dissolution. "Don't Hold Your Breath" by CKY would be a good song to sum it up. Not necessarily the lyrics by themselves but the overall vibe of the song. (That guitar between 2:25-3:00 still takes me away) Or the song 'Old Fires' by Raised by Swans. (Actually, this one would probably be the better descriptor) I attribute my attraction to Gothic culture and themes to my 8th house Sun, opposite Pluto in Scorpio.. Not so much to my Venus placements. Although, I guess I do have a Venus-Pluto aspect. I also really like Gothic architecture. It blows me away. Then again, as mentioned earlier, I like pastels. I like really light pink.. Light Blue.. Lavender and especially certain shades of Mauve. I love the color of Lepidolite. But.. I'd say my all-time favorite color is probably Indigo. I like some dark shades of purple, but, I tend to like lighter shades with it. There's a very specific shade of dark purple I like. I don't really like heavily saturated colors in general. I like tints. Hence my attraction to pastels. I like light colors. Or, greys and black and white. And.. In regards to clothes.. Right now, personally, I don't really wear the clothes I would like to because of money.. But, I don't really care either. I tend to wear a lot of worn out clothes.. Paint stained or whatever. I tend to like somewhat loose, somewhat thin clothes. I like clothes that when I'm relaxing I can kinda just wrap myself into. That's why I tend to wear hoodies that are a bit big on me.
Sounds like pastel goth. IP: Logged |

Venus in Gemini, conjunct Moon, SN, square Mars in Pisces, inconjunct Uranus/ascendant, trine Pluto, sextile Jupiter.Whew. I love large windows, that let beautiful bright light in. I would love a large window seat next to one of ours, and larger windows in the rest of the house. I also like having trees blocking the houses around us from view (mostly), but not blocking the light. Pale, but not pastel, colours on the walls. My favourite quilt is a very pale yellow, almost white one, with little shiny threads in a pretty pattern. It's unfortunately fifteen years old, though, and there's hardly anything to it, anymore. I wish I could find another one. I suppose the Gemini could show the way I love the woods on one day, and wish to be by the beach on another day. Living around the redwoods would be ideal for me, and the ocean. I love fish tanks, and I have a fan running to keep the air circulating. It also relaxes me, and helps me to sleep. I like a place that looks warm and inviting. IP: Logged |

~Make up~ I'll go out in public bare faced, have minimal makeup, and all out caked on, or just one bold statement like lips. I'll try just about any make up look as long as it doesn't get too too freaky,(unless it's halloween) like give myself pink eyebrows, or black lipstick. I'm not afraid to do purple lipstick. I love the way it looks whether the shade is dark or light. I've been going barefaced a lot lately. I feel so much better about going bare faced knowing that a lot of products in the U.S. have ingredients that in the long run, are not good for skin. I've been keeping a tube of purple lip gloss at the boyfriends place, in case we go out somewhere nice, but still not trying too hard. lol On Easter I kept my face bare with the exception of hot pink lipstick. I have completely stopped buying make up a few years ago. In my early 20's I was constantly buying make up. It was such a hobby and obsession for me at the time. Now I'm just trying to use up what I have. I don't like having an everyday make up routine. But if I'm in a hurry and want to look polished with our trying too hard, I do concealer, bronzer, line of eye linner at the top and mascara. I will confess that I've never curled my lashes, it looks scary to do. I only wear falsies if I'm going all out, and know I wont need to put on my glasses. It was fun to do, and has only occurred once in my life, since I'm too much of a scardey cat to wear contacts. IP: Logged |

Ooh, that's pretty. I used to daydream about having large tanks all around one room, or being able to fall asleep next to one of the huge tanks in an aquarium. I guess my Mars in Pisces really does affect me. IP: Logged |

~HAIR~ Over the last few years doing my hair has become a fun hobby of mine! And so proud of myself for being able to do these things. I love doing curls, waves, updos, down dos, teasing, mastering french, dutch, fishtail braids! I love how one day I can look prim and proper with a braid, and then look like a wild woman the next day when I take the braid out. Hair accessories that go with what I am wearing is nice fun touch too. I have fine hair that gets greasy fast. Styling it keeps it "clean" longer. My hair is past my shoulders now. It was past my boobs in the past. It's tricky having long hair with my type. Too my boobs, and past them my hair tangled so easy! So frustrating to brush! But putting too much conditioning and detangling products makes my hair greasy faster. Now I have less tangling issues, and can still do all the same hair styles. I do give my hair a break, and will just wash and brush it. Or pull it back when school work is way too demanding. Dry shampoo is a must. I've never died my hair and don't feel a need to. But I can admire a nice dye job of a crazy color on someone else. Also I am so glad that I haven't lived in the 1920's-1950's! Those hairstyles are way too hard for me to do! Victory rolls, pompador bangs, geez! Womens hair always looked so perfect and fancy, not a hair out of place. I would not of survived living around that time because of that! I would get so outcasted I would have to be a hillbilly. I can shoot, and I know how to braid hair, do pigtails and burp really loud! IP: Logged |

That would be fun! I learned that usually if you want a nice looking bun it helps to add body buy curling it or something and then pinning the curls around the pony tail area. Here is an actual picture of the back of my head after doing a messy bun. Never curled anyone else hair before. Hopefully I wouldn't be like my sister and burn people's ears with the iron. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrSWxfOM5J8 Here is a bun tutorial. I love Lilith Moon's tutorials, she is amazing. She was able to teach me French and Dutch braids! I've tried other tutorials before her, and I couldn't get it. I braid my preschoolers hair sometimes, they ask me for fishtail braids a lot. I can't wait to do my nieces hair. I'm ready! lol IP: Logged |

~Fragrance~ Over the last few years, I've been hyperaware of what I am putting into and onto my body. Currently just trying to use up what I have. I currently have 20 perfume/body sprays on my vanity. I also keep a travel size perfume in my purse. I learned that if I don't wear the same perfume for days on end, I can keep it longer! I try not to wear the same perfume 2 days in a row. So I don't really have a signature, but the only perfume I've replaced many time is I use this one all the time for special events, and parties. When I want to feel extra confident. I've made my own perfume a few times. I notice I love making citrus floral fragrances. The most recent one I made was a grapefruit and lily of the valley. And put in in a Egyptian perfume bottle an old neighbor gave me. I've made a solid perfume too of vanilla and ylang ylang. Haven't made an alchol based perfume yet, that hobby will probably have to wait until I am done with school. Sigh...It's nice to know that I am getting some real aroma therapy when I put them on. Having appealing bottles is also important to me. I've bought some cool ones off the internet. I've taken close ones hand me down bottles that don't suit them anymore. I'll graciously accept gifts. I got a bath and body works gift card and bought 3 of their body sprays. I have A Thousand Wishes, Cool Amazon Rain, and Love and Sunshine. So I have popular brands, and a few homemade ones added to my collection. IP: Logged |

LOL yeah my Libra Grandma was a teen and young adult in the 30's and 40's. And she does not like seeing celebrities today dressed all nice, with "messy" hair! She was looking at People magazine and said "why does everyone's hair look bad?" And another time she told me "The lady on the news got a new hair cut, and it looks stupid." hahahahaha! If you can do a braid Faith, you can get some nice waves when you take the braid out. Fun way to get some body with out being high maintenance. Totally go for it with the curling iron. You can practice, and when you feel good about your skills, you'll have a "special occasion do!" That's a nice looking family! I like to go camping myself!
