What is your aesthetic in terms of clothes, home design, art, music?

Square Neptune and Aquarius. Quincunx Pluto.

Hmm.. I like pastels.

But, aesthetics? Idk. Maybe Gothic.. Somewhat melancholic. But, also somewhat ethereal. I just picture myself fading away into a fog. Dissolution. "Don't Hold Your Breath" by CKY would be a good song to sum it up. Not necessarily the lyrics by themselves but the overall vibe of the song. (That guitar between 2:25-3:00 still takes me away) Or the song 'Old Fires' by Raised by Swans. (Actually, this one would probably be the better descriptor)

I attribute my attraction to Gothic culture and themes to my 8th house Sun, opposite Pluto in Scorpio.. Not so much to my Venus placements. Although, I guess I do have a Venus-Pluto aspect.

I also really like Gothic architecture. It blows me away.

Then again, as mentioned earlier, I like pastels. I like really light pink.. Light Blue.. Lavender and especially certain shades of Mauve. I love the color of Lepidolite. But.. I'd say my all-time favorite color is probably Indigo. I like some dark shades of purple, but, I tend to like lighter shades with it. There's a very specific shade of dark purple I like.

I don't really like heavily saturated colors in general. I like tints. Hence my attraction to pastels. I like light colors. Or, greys and black and white.

Colors are really important to me...and because it's Sag, I do like colors that remind me of other places...

Like the turquoise pillows here remind me of India...

For clothes, I'm about the same: mostly conservative neutral stuff with colorful accents. I like Kate Middleton's casual style, not that I actually dress like that, but my sun and Mercury are conjunct hers and I would feel like myself in those outfits. Like this:

My ideal (if I had the money to spend) would be steampunk and related themes, that which mixes the past with a scifi future, be it clothes or home decor. Perhaps the Libra sun and stellium (that includes Saturn) likes the romantic (not necessarily kissy-kind, mind you, more the romanticized notions, and perhaps even related to the romantic era itself) conservative slant, but given a new spin that turns it into something new and looks to the future. It's like roots in the past, but ever reaching to the stars in a pioneering way. My home would have classic library and study, grandfather clock, and so on, but also many cutting edge (even avant-garde) aspects, and my computer would look like this:

Again, if life allowed for such an ideal. Of course I wouldn't be stuck to anything, which could be my 5H Sag wanting to keep it fresh and new.

I'm a mixed bag when it comes to style. I can wear jeans and flannel with a baseball cap one day, and the next a peplum dress with platform heels. I love the pinup style.

I love to have music on in my house or in the car. The genre is a mixed bag too depending on my mood. From punk to oldies to old school rap or metal.

My home is a colonial with comfort as the theme. I spent a lot of money on a comfortable mattress and premium sheets. Gotta have that! Lol.

My fridge is usually stocked for guests, and I bring it all out when they stop by.

I love reds and other bright colors.

Making sure my kids and guests are comfortable in my home is really important to me. I like that security for me and for them. 😊

I can't even begin to describe the stuff I like, except colorful, bright, and usually spiritual.
So here are pictures of the stuff that is actually in my house...

Lamp I just bought

Normal decor includes artwork done by my mom, my father in-law, myself, and my husband, all very colorful (my mom does the painting, the rest of us do photography when we're feeling spiffy).

Candles are usually around, crystals, vintage coffee tables, and a plethora of toys and stuffed animals that my son keeps around the house.

My personal style used to be much more interesting and fashionable, but lately I just try not to look like an idiot.

So I go with something similar to this (minus the sunglasses, and my bag is knit not fringed).

The background of my current tumblr is black I think (it's been a long time since I've been on) and my old tumblr had little snow flakes falling.. (Literally) all across the screen and one time they were bubbles and when you moved the mouse they would move. I also had a specialized cursor of a giant pointer arrow

Well to start off I don't have a specific style. I hate to be stereotyped but it's weird because I can so easily do that to others. Lol
Basically I'm not a band t shirt type of girl
I don't wear all Victoria secret
I don't have septum peitcings and big ass Gage's
I'm just NORMAL
And I like what I like.

My favorite outfit is a hot red tank top , with black shorts and a polkys dotted black and white cardigan

I also have these really cute leggings that I think brings out my creative Venus 5th side.
They're pink with cats and cupcakes and smiles and hearts
All of that good stuff. It's pretty random, actually lol
I usually wear that with a big black t short. That's my work out outfit.

I used to wear hats a lot but now my hair is too beautiful and I like to show it off...
Plus I don't feel like standing out anymore so I'm just whateverrrr

I usually wear black gladiator shoes. And they're sexy as hell.
My make up is super dark usually. Long lashes (tons of mascara. It looks fake but I rlly dc) I wear black eyeliner. It is not the natural look.
I don't usually wear lipstick. I mean sometimes I do... Depending on how I'm feeling but sometimes I'll just dab a natural tinted color for some shade and if I want to be REALLY sexy my flavored shiny glossy Victoria lip gloss.

I appreciate a wide range of different styles.

On some occasions, I saw pieces that were totally off-putting to my eyes at first, but then they somehow seemed interesting. Upon closer inspection, I found that I find them interesting because to me they made "sense". The colours were gaudy and clashing, but the textures went well together..etc...

Well, things that don't make "sense" have their own charms, so... lol

I love the shabby-chic look (or just shabby). And the old, worn and torn (well-loved), crooked, dented, mismatched, asymmetrical, chaotic...etc... Even when I make things, I tend to free style and see how it goes, rather than draw up patterns and plans.

Love wall murals, mismatched earrings, rough gemstones, caravans, old shoes, up-cycled clothing items and furniture, steam-punk/industrial gadgets, quirky/novelty items - I have an octopus-looking shower head made from curled ribbons of metals and two black stones for the eyes, a glass ball pendant that has a living marimo ball inside...etc...

Things I love are often not versatile, hard to bring along, or don't have any real purpose lol.

For the record *cough* the rugs I posted are in different rooms, lol. Lamp is in the living room with the striped rug. Reddish couch, different tones of wood in furniture/tables.

I don't have a "type" and I would disappoint myself if I started to develop one! My husband is NOTHING like anyone I have ever been with, to say the least. His life before me is also nothing like I've ever experienced. Some of it I only thought existed in movies..and I have led a pretty crazy life myself.

As for fashion and interior design: cowboy meets punk-rocker meets Wall Street. I like anything Moroccan in terms of colors and style, probably mixed with a little bit of "beach house".
