Well, looking at the positions of your planets alone is very interesting.

There are so many things that can be interpreted from the signs alone, so I'll go slowly.

Moon in Aquarius makes friends quickly. But because of the taciturn nature of Saturn and disruptive spin of Uranus, friendships tend to challenging/ break off or not be consistent.

The irony is that the more physical distance there is between them and friends, the "closer" the Aquarius feels to them. Which is very difficult for most people to understand.

With the Moon being in the 3rd house, it doesn't promise for much stability in interpersonal relationships.

You are hard to pin down and your restlessness has you moving on from one place to another quickly.

Did you move around a lot when younger? Almost feeling like you had to make new friends and start afresh with connections again and again?

Does Pluto in Scorpio square the Moon?

Cancer is on the cusp of the 8th house and with with Moon in Aquarius, I have to ask; how is the relationship that you have with your Mother?

My relationship with my mother feels more like a friendship. We don't live together. We get a long and are very close but I get annoyed with her really easily.

I did move around a lot when I was younger. A total of 6 times.

What are your opinions regarding this disappearing act I'm pulling? Do you think this unconventional relationship we have works for us?

I think the fact that you get on so well with your Mother could be because you do not live with her(Moon in Aquarius distant thing that I mentioned).

And the fact that your relationship with her feels more like a friendship(Aquarius) is also telling.

Also, Moon in 8th can be very extreme. It can speak of the loss of the mother figure (death/strained relationship)or a very strong emotional connection. But rarely indifference.

I think this relationship with Mom is affecting how you are viewing all relationships in general. But lets move on.

Mercury in Cancer reiterates the thing about moving a lot. So much so that the person ends up living(Cancer)in their head (Mercury).

I wonder if you speak to your Mom a lot about your emotional state of mind? Since Mercury is in the 8th house cusp of Cancer, it suggests that she could serve as a therapist that "breaks it down" for you.

It could also suggest that there is a sort of telepathic connection with her; you call her the minute she things of you or vice versa?

Do you have siblings?

I live in my head definitely. It's my sacred space. In regards to siblings I have a younger brother and an older half sister.

And how is your relationship with them?

I don't talk to my half sister that often. My brother and I are pretty close.

Now its interesting because that is what I wanted to point out.

Mercury in Cancer often suggests a close relationship (Cancer)with siblings(Mercury). But it also often goes through its series of emotional up/downs(Moon rules Cancer).

Now the ruler(Mercury) of the 7th and 10th house(Gemini and Virgo cusp) speaks of an intellectual connection with partners(7th), associates and with the public.

7th/10th house cusp Gemini/Virgo are generally people who don't run out of things to say and are always assimilating/comparing or gathering information to share, analyze, criticize or debate.

But when Mercury is in the sign of Cancer, it also suggest that one tends to be moody, changeable, withdrawn and keep much of the dialogue with regards to the 7th/10th house areas to herself.

This may affect your close relationships (7th) as well as your career(10th). As often people who you partner up with or work with, don't know what you are thinking (Mercury in Cancer)and perceive you as erratic, unpredictable, inconsistent or self-contained.

Now whether or not this perception comes from the combination of Cancer energy or the ruler of Mercury in Cancer i.e Moon in Aquarius, does not matter.

Mercury in Cancer ruling your 7th house of associations, suggests to me that you are very self protective and the need to withdraw from others could be because of the ebb and flow of your state of your mind.

You live a lot in your head and may be very good at articulating feelings on paper or verbally. But this is only/strictly to friends who feel close enough to be called "family"

Does Neptune/Uranus oppose Mercury at all?

Wow. All of that is completely true. That is exactly how I feel. I feel more confident writing on paper or over the phone vs in person.

Are you asking if my neptune/uranus opposes my mercury, the Gemini mans mercury or in synastry?

What I am asking is from your chart. Does Neptune/Uranus oppose Mercury in Cancer?

Well my Neptune/Uranus are in Capricorn so yes they would oppose my Mercury in Cancer since Capricorn is the opposite sign of Cancer. By the way I really appreciate all of your help.

Yes they are in opposite signs. But some people pay more attention to the orbs between them etc.

Now I see that Uranus/Neptune both oppose Mercury in Cancer and that suggests that you could feel misunderstood or feel that it is strenuous for you to articulate yourself well.

Cap energy tends to rule interruptions, delays, distance and formality. So there is a tendency to feel that you don't get the forthcoming sympathy when you communicate about your feelings(Uranus). Or that people are just not listening sometimes(Neptune) etc.

Cap energy also validates what you said about being better writing things down. the opposition to earth signs suggests that one likes to formulate communication in tangible ways; writing, video recording, texting etc. so as to review or revisit later on for "editing".

All in all, your disappearance from the Gemini is not unique and has much to do with you and not the Gemini

You take time opening up to people as you are emotionally very expressive. But you need to feel "heard" or close enough to do so.

The distrust you feel/wanting to distance yourself could be the Moon in Aquarius defense strategy.

You fear loss,so distance seems to be the best solution; so as to gain a more objective perspective and prevents too much "attachment"

But if you hope to have more meaningful relationships with others(as this is truly what you crave),resist disappearing on them.

If you feel yourself waning or feeling "disconnected", it is usually because the subject at hand feels superficial and has no "heart" in it. So change it.

At the heart of you is someone who wants to connect with as many people as possible. But is afraid of being emotionally "spent" or "wasted".

You crave intense emotional connection(8th house cusp in Cancer). But are equally fearful of these wonderful connections breaking down, being interrupted or being lost.

What if I invest myself and it is all for nothing? What if I am present emotionally and the other person doesn't show up? What if I have to start from scratch all over again? What would be the point of giving myself anyways?

The keenness to establish objective communication distance(3rd house cusp in Aquarius) is your attempt to control these anxieties.

Its not easy being vulnerable. But if you want to live a life being less defensive, the walls will have to come down.

And perhaps this Gemini that you want to disappear from so much, could ironically be an excellent catalyst in helping to show you how?

Think about it

Wow I can't thank you enough for your insight. It has been a tremendous help! Loss and wasted time is one of my biggest fears. Deep down I know I'm putting my walls up and pushing him away.

I need to do a better job at expressing my feelings.

Did you take a look at the S.Node and N.Node and how they aspect?

I have this with a lot of Leos and it creates an almost telepathic bond.

Karmic debt is very common between Leo and Gemini.

It means that Leo's and Geminis tend to have known each other in a past life.

Think of it similar to a nice person who helped you out in your past, but you never got the chance to say thank you.

The two signs also have alot to learn from each other, if they learn to work together then positive things may happen.

Thats what karmic debt is. But it can also be negative karmic debt, but generally its a positive thing.
