I have personally slaughtered animals to cook for family celebrations, and meat just tastes better when it's made for a purpose

Its probably the mercury influence...like I said I was not into meat most of my life but you can argue that I found it yucky bc I was not exposed to really nice quality meat till much later in my life...

Seriously, I could go with my personal experiences and ethics (which are complex and intricate), how dietary values and politics may or may not connect to seemingly unrelated issues, and what it says about humanity as as species, the nature of existence, and any transcendental being that may or may not have created that existence (and possibly reasons why), but after pages of it, I'd end with, "Personally, I'm just not sure."

I didn't eat a steak until I was 14 or 15 and even then I was choking it down. It's like my body just doesn't want it. It can look good, smell good, and taste good and something inside me still just doesn't want it.

And no, it has nothing to do with whether it's morally right or wrong to me. I just don't particularly care for it.

Unless it's mexican street tacos. Omg I love tacos. Even then, though, the focus isnt so much the meat, but the cabbage/jalapenos/tomatillo sauce that I mix into it.

I would much rather live off of fruits and starches. Mmm potatoes. If only they were filled with protein. Guess I'll have to stick with peanutbutter and beans
