I have no idea. The amount of people I know that like astrology is limited.

However, I thought my boyfriend had a water Moon or water Ascendant at first because of how caring and sensitive he is. He is, in fact, a Capricorn Moon and Capricorn Ascendant. I see it now, but I didn't back then when I practically thirsted for his astrology information. As it turns out, the only water in his chart is Pluto in Scorpio.

I'm an Aquarius, but have gotten Gemini a few times. My Descendant is in Gemini, and its ruler sits in my first house. *Shrug*

I thought Capricorn Moon would be the less sensitive for being the opposite as Cancer, I'm new to this so I read everything to understand better :P

My aunt is Capricorn Sun and ASC and I swear she's is the most rational person ever, somehow I don't see her that emphatic, a lot of trouble putting emotions and so easy to put words, though I guess other aspects would make this true.

Hey guys; to clarify- people, in one way or another are classified, to themselves, as well as others. Good or bad, neutral, etc.

We may or others of us may notice characteristics of the psyche; traits, styles and mannerism which stick out... Astrology is this forum, as well as one way to see things and reflect, sometimes unknowingly.

Can be surprising that even people who do not dabble still have a very clear idea of their own horoscope/sun sign; without giving more prominence. Also chalked up to personality and ways to explain it.

Interesting points on seeing others, thanks.

@Vajra- I at the Cancer Sun part not existing. Seems to me this placement actually always presents itself and people just choose not to see it as it is, lol.

You know those dinner-party conversations where people jokingly guess each other's sun signs? Nobody ever gets mine right. :/ I don't have the trademark *charm* of my sun-sign, I suppose.

Top four I'm mistaken for: Pisces, Leo, Sag, Scorpio.
^ Weird range, I know - but it's mostly people I work with. And my MC's in Sag -- so that's the part of me they see..?

People who know just basic sun signs usually think I'm a fire sign, mostly Sag and Aries.

I've got Sag Moon, MC, well aspected Jupiter and Mars, an angle Mars and Jupiter conjunct SN.

I've got Aquarius twice and Virgo once.

The Virgo one made sense because I was in a social situation were I did not feel at all comfortable and I was really high-strung and defensive. Then this very loud extroverted guy, who was the one unsettling me, remarked this and said "Why are you so nervous, are you a Virgo or something?"

The Aquarius ones happened when I was at ease and was acting like myself. Strange.

Though both calls are not completely random
- 6th house stellium (Scorpio)
- Aquarius Midheaven

Also I once made a "guessed the sign" thread and sneaked my photo without saying it was me and most LL people said Aries and Virgo lol wat

Neopagans online used to mistake me for a Scorpio, which confused me given that I think I share far more than a Scorpio normally would. I believe they were confusing my Plutonian energy with Scorpio.

People in real life have asked if I was a Sag, but the reason is usually obvious to me, from mixing with people of other nationalities or discussing people I know in other countries to my athletic hobbies and/or being too straightforward. 'Course that packed Sag stellium I have probably plays a part as well.

I vaguely recall that my concern for words meaning something specific had me pegged as a Virgo once, but I could see how my chart explained it as I have, IMO, very good reasons for it as opposed "it's just how things are done."

Every person that has ever guessed has said Scorpio which is correct. I have piercing eyes and people always tell me that my gaze is really intense. Not necessarily in an intimidating way, but people have told me that my eyes are like laser beams. Like they can feel my gaze on them. I do find it easier to spot water signs than any of the other elements. Fire signs are easy for me to guess too. I pick up on earth and air qualities based more on personality than looks.

What got me into astrology was a woman that upon first meeting me said "You're a Scorpio, but you also scream Libra!" She said my eyes gave away my Sun sign, but that I must have Libra rising. She told me how to get my chart and I was surprised to see that I have a 5 planet Libra stellium in the 8th house, including a 1* Moon/Pluto conjunction. I'm an Aquarius AC though.

She's a Libra Sun with Scorpio rising and has a very similar energy, so it was easy for her to spot the Scorpio/Libra mix. She's the only one that ever picked up on Libra, but others that guessed were only focusing on the Sun sign. She also asked if I was with a Cancer man and I told her yes. She asked our birthdays and got really excited about us both being born on the same day of the month because it meant our Suns were closely trine. I had no idea what that meant at the time, but her accuracy convinced me to study astrology in depth. Now I realize that her Scorpio rising with Sun in the 12th makes her very intuitive.

I also do attract many Scorpios in my life, most of them are like (how are you not a scorpio you seem like a real one)

Cancer Sun, Mercury, ASC
Pisces Moon
Leo Venus, Mars Jupiter,

Pluto in Scorpio in 5th H aspects almost all my natal planets and ASC
the strongest by orb aspects are
Pluto's squares with Venus and Mars,
and the trine with Cancer ASC in 2nd decan which is Pluto's decan..

I am very often mistaken for a Leo.

Reasons:
- Ascendant/Moon/Jupiter in Leo
- Sun/Venus conjunction in Sagittarius in the 5th house trine Jupiter in Leo and Midheaven in Aries (forming a Grand Fire Trine).
- Moon/Venus/Ascendant/Midheaven are all in Leo decans
