My ex husband has a Pisces Sun, Mercury and nnode. In addition he has Cancer Moon in H12 and he is a Leo Rising so his Pisces Sun is his chart ruler. During our marriage he has completely distanced himself emotionally from me and was often passive aggressive. My Mars/Saturn conjunct his Moon probably didn’t help.

My father also was a Pisces Sun and Mercury but with an Aries Moon. He was much more emotionally expressive. But had a lot of difficulty dealing with his emotions and eventually became an alcoholic.

I think there is a strong tendency for escapism for Pisces as a way of dealing with emotional issues. Like they can’t really reach the root of the problem. The Moon probably influences the way this expresses itself.

It depends on the chart. I have a ton of Pisces energy but I also have a Pluto moon square, Pluto trine mercury and pluto sq asc and I deep dive into my emotional abyss all the time. More than most people I know. It's like I can't help it.
I guess the thing with Pisces energy is, that emotions are so quickly changing all the time and it is indeed not easy to put into words what we are feeling. Sometimes, in fact most of the time I like to deal with my stuff all alone, all privately. I don't think other people have the right to know everything about me. Once I have dealt with what has been bothering me, I can freely talk about it without it making me emotional. And that is when I talk about it - after I figured it out myself.

When people know everything that you’re feeling, they can try to use it against you. I used to think that most people were good, but now I’m not sure of that at all. It depends on how strong I’m feeling, there are people I’ve trusted, who will turn on you in an instant, and then think it’s okay to dehumanize you. That includes people with sensitive Pisces placements.

Only mars in Pisces, not my sun.

Things hurt them so much that it is hard to show their vulnerability

I’ll add something that came to mind, since my Sun is technically 0.07 degree of Pisces, perhaps this zero degree speaks for something else entirely, yet my Capricorn Moon is at also at the anaretic degree of 29.48. My Pisces Mercury is 17 degrees and Pisces MC is 4 (another two critical degrees).

My head is perpetually empty[ing]. A Non-being state.

Yesterday, during a group flat meeting, everyone went around to add how they were “feeling” before we began, and I anticipated before my turn needing to provide something relative and empathic, because I frankly was feeling nothing (neither could Recall anything) in particular, whatsoever. Neither do words matter. What I actually felt was presence (open and observant; in the Now) - yet that’s not the answer implied for wanting a narrative, so I shared a minor update and hoped in the back of my mind that it felt giving and sincere enough, procedurally.

I was impressed others had colorful things to tell about themselves, listening attentively.

I have learned over the years to identify fleeting feelings, for the love of language and it’s utility, however, if I happen to speak about them, it’s usually anecdotal: to identifying them as their own, like a birdwatcher. Hence, when asked privately, it’s possible for me to share that “I’m feeling sad etc” with a small smile.

The other day I felt a sudden ache/heaviness in my heart space and as I was leaving for an errand I mentioned to my roommate that very moment I felt “heartbroken that I didn’t have a lover of my own” (since I could feel this in my body, it was genuine, so worth sharing). We hugged with enthusiasm. Granted I’m aware what I was feeling wasn’t so simple - heartache or in fact, desire.

Suppose the moments wherein we’re feeling something entirely of our own (not filtering others energy or grasping for meaning) is memorable.

I don’t know if this applies to other Pisces, but feeling despondent is all too normal. And usually not worth “sharing” (informing others about, or expected to reveal - nothingness), as it’s easily mistaken. (Read: Existentialism) This loss felt is relative to the natural separation felt from the divine.

It’s very informative to read the posts of different people with Pisces in their chart. Thank you!
Several people have shared that the mutable quality of Pisces makes it difficult to actually know what they are feeling. This makes me wonder about the connection with H12. In H8 we hide our secrets but H12 stands for what is hidden from ourselves. I read somewhere that Pisces is connected to the primordial ocean. It’s without beginning or end. There are no boundaries that contain it. If something has no boundaries it cannot be defined and it’s understandable that this makes it difficult to sense what is actually going on.

I don't agree. It has more to do with the fluid nature of our emotions. they change so quickly and they are often so hard to define that it's just not easy to express how he feel

Yes indeedy, this kind of help me understand my Mercury/MC too.

It's hard for me to articulate. It get lost in endless of somewhere I don't know where it went. Because I can't rely on my thoughts (it's changeable) and confused others more, I end up choosing not to voice it in real life to save the confusion lol
