You want minor aspects?

I think so. This is inherent to me. People tend to get suprised when they find out I am more energy driven and determined in what I want to achieve than they originally thought due to my introversion and let's say 'outter lack of enthusiasm'.
One of my friends' brother told me that "even though it seems you might not be, I see you are strong deep inside". I was like "Of course I am like this, duh!". I did't know whether to take it as a compliment or a criticism. It's weird to think that most people won't ever get to know what your core self is like and that most will remain in what you look like outside. It's simply unfair. After all, what is essential is invisible to the eyes.

Yeah this is true too, people tend to misunderstand, especially me being a Taurus ascendant. When they get to know me, they're in awe because this "me" isn't what they were expecting. For bad for the people who didn't stick around to know the real me, though. And bless the ones who do.

This is so true. People with this placement are silently strong and definitely stronger than many may give them credit for. It's like they look at them and think, "wow nothing phases them" and they're amazed by their calm and composure. It's not even that they're necessarily TRYING to be calm and composed, they just...are, because it's in their nature to be choosy about the things they let bother them. To them it's like a waste of energy to get excited about something when there really is no need.

Deptic and Margym

It's nice to find others who have such a similar view.

My ascendant is Taurus too. By the way I'm curious, what are your other placements? Mine are Virgo Sun/Mercury, Libra Moon/Venus.

Yay! Taurus ascendants + cap mars in the world, unite!
Moon in the first house, you must appear very nurturing to others.
My first house is empty.
I have Sun and Mercury conjunct in the 5th. Moon and Venus (not conjunct) in the 6th house. My Venus and Pluto are conjunct descendant.
Mars in the 9th house conjunct MC.

Yeah, I guess so, but there's a darkside to it. Whatever I'm feeling, you'll see it on my face and/or my actions. And then being in Gemini, my mood changes alot. When I'm in public though, all that changes (Taurus asc kicks in) I won't show how I'm feeling etc.. But iinside, I'm whatever mood I was in before I left the house etc.. It's hard though (seen that moon is in 1st house) so if it's something that really bothering me, then you'll probably pickup something isn't right.

I would be very cold/distant/silent/poker faced.

My Mars is in Capricorn but unfortunately I'm not as driven as I'd like to be. I don't know why it's lacking in me but my Mars isn't afflicted, though it's also barely aspected and even then with very wide orbs. It is, however, in the fourth house. Could that have something to do with it?

EDIT: ok I tell a lie. Seems that Mars is quincunx my sun and at an orb of under 4,but the other "aspects" are conjunct Neptune with orb between 8 and 9 and trine my ascendant with an orb just outside 8. I don't think those are meaningful so it's only the quincunx that counts.

Yeah I've felt the same. Cold, distant, people cannot guess how I am feeling unless I make an effort or I tell them. I would say that is a disadvantage too because no one is going to give you a helping hand or ask whether you are feeling alright when you don't show outside.
Lately I have opened up more and I've realised the advantages of honestly showing how I feel in every situation. It has made me connect more with myself and with others. So I guess I like a Moon in the first because knowing how you feel would make me know where you stand and how to act while respecting your feelings.

That's true for me 2. I have no mars aspects. Don't know if that's a good thing or not.
Being the dreamer I am, I guess i kinda "wait"? for things? Don't know if that's the right term for it.
But deep inside, theirs this person that wanna do things, I have the tendency to not finish what i started, lol. I just jump to another thing. For example, I'll be watching a show, all of a sudden, I'll pause it, then research something totally random, then it's couple hours later I remember that i paused whatever i was watching and proceed to finish watching.. Moon in Gemini maybe, always thinking of something.

How do you do it? (open up to others about how you're feeling? I need to learn how to do that. Whenever I'm in my mood, whoever's around me just ignores me. Well, except mom.

My girl told my that I should talk to her more about things that's botherin me, i'm just used to flying solo, dealing with my issues myself. I have NN in libra, so I know i should start incorporating people more, but it's hard, stuck in my Aries ways, lol. so to say.

Yep that sounds like me too, and I too have moon in Gemini. I'll start things but then not finish them, or I eventually finish them, but in short bursts at a time. It frustrates me.

Okay first of all, you shouldn't worry about that, I think you will, everything gets to you when it's due time.
I simply decided to stand up for myself and one of the things to do was to be more open and honest about my feelings. It was a challenge to put them into words and actions but in the end it was worth it.
Deep inside I knew I deserved to be loved and understood, so I just set my standards to deal with no bullsh*t.
We are like mirrors, we see ourselves reflected in people, and often what you don't like in others is what you don't like about yourself. When you are respectful and honest with yourself, you attract people with those qualities.

I say you can try to listen and realise the mood of others around you. You say they don't realise your feelings but it is probably a two way situation: Everybody has their own problems, they don't listen to yours, you don't listen to theirs.
Try listening carefully to their situation, put yourself in their shoes and give them your support. I assure you kindness will come back to you.

It was during a hard time for me in which I struggled a lot that acceptance and understanding of my own situation allowed me to change. I learned to forgive myself and to give myself permission to fail, and I started to love myself more. This way I started to be more open with others, because I was not afraid of anything. In fact I enjoyed meaningful exchanges with someone else. And to make it meaningful, you have to give a part of yourself, you can't just expect the other to make all the work. You need to trust and accept the other. There is beauty in everyone and everybody have their motives.

How curious, my SN is in Libra (6th house) and my NN is in Aries (12th).

Duly noted.

I really appreciated the advice and words of wisdom

I'm gonna **try** and let others in and be more trusting and talk more about what's bothering me, and be as supportive as i can to others.

I used to be more helpful to others, but they started to take advantage, so i cut them off and shut everyone out.

I guess there's boundaries I need to set.

Good deptic, that's the attitude 👍. I agree about setting healthy boundaries, that's the key and I am glad this was helpful. Wish you all the best.
