Topic: I keep attracting married/taken men...

For the life of me, I don't understand why I keep attracting married or taken men. And....and if they are not taken, then they are emotionally unavailable for a relationship, but not for a sexual relationship. I have Jupiter transitioning i in my 7th right now, so......it should be easy, right? NO. I'm overwhelmed with it. Ugh. Anyone else going through this? IP: Logged |

For what it's worth, I have Jupiter 7th natally, and it isn't aagic bullet for relationships. Still have to struggle like everyone else. But maybe it insulates a little from the bad side of things.Maybe Jupiter is helping by showing you now instead of winding up in one and finding out after the fact? Don'no.. IP: Logged |

Is Saturn squaring your Jupiter right now or something relationship wise in your chart? Eta: I should've added that when Saturn was making a hard hit to both my juno and venus, I met a lot of married people in general. IP: Logged |

I had one year in my life like that were all I attracted was unavailable men either taken and often out of town folks, it was weird I feel you. I can't remember what year so can't check transits. I remember that I was under a 9 personal year that year so I guess not a good year to start anything new.

I don't think it's about attracting married men, we all do, it is about learning to say no to them from the beginning. And Jupiter in the 7th acts like a teacher for that.  ------------------

Any activity there? Or maybe even its ruler?

I think she is asking about attracting (meaning she being interested and involved) with men who are "taken" or when not "taken" are uninterested...I believe it can be many things, not observed only in the chart.. many triangles comes out of the need to live outside a part that we are owning. sometimes it is we are reLIVING the old edipo complex in the adult life (wanting to take the man from a woman) like i wanted to compete with mother when a child and I lost.. sort of thing... but seeing the chart would be useful.. dont think it has to do with jupiter in 7th. This happened to me for a while, and the last one was with Jupiter transiting my 7th. It stopped, but that's probably partly to do with the fact that a) I'm older now, and b) I am now scary, too. IP: Logged |

I don't think I ever, not even once, attracted a married man in my entire life, now with a girlfriend perhaps two but both were in an on and off messed up relationship and with neither I had sex with and both I met over 10 years apart from each other so not statistically significant or a pattern for sure. That one year I attracted unavailable men they were usually from out of town, foreigners. Not surprising I guess since I don't really like Miami men and I have Jupiter conjunct exact Uranus in the 12th conjunct AC as my chart ruler. I like guys who love their freedom and love been free, taken guys are actually a big turn off to me so no I have never not even once attracted a married man. IP: Logged |

The thing is that this is happening lately only and is not an ongoing pattern in her life and odds just a fleeting stage so that to me is not something of clinical significance. For one of my best friends this was an ongoing pattern through out her life and in her case something she really needs to gain insight in order to break pattern. IP: Logged |

If it is recently, a transit may be triggering something in her chart. i have had jupiter in 7th transit (ruler of my 8th and conjunct my 5th house cusp) and I have NEVER attracted a married or taken man...well I attract them as many other men as I am very attractive, but I have never paid attention to them. so it cannnot be an isolated transit. it muss be something that is activated with a transit but it is already there. otherwise, how a transit can "activate" something that is not there? Regardless if you are going to talk about Freud which I don't even like that theory of his and psychoanalize someone this has to be a consistent pattern in her life for there to be a need to break the pattern in the first place and link it back to childhood. I guess we don't know if is a pattern or not bc she did not mention if this is something just happening lately or something she has been dealing with for years since she was a teen but I get the sense is lately not an established pattern and anybody could just have a brief period were this happens to them due to transits and it not be tied to dysfunctional patterns stemming from childhood. I think Saturn opposing her Venus and Jupiter transiting her 7th explains well what is happening to her right now, she is attracting a lot of unavailable men. Jupiter expands and multiplies and in her case is having the effect of multiplying that Saturn opposite Venus transit effect. Saturn is keeping her from what she desires and Jupiter is giving her lots of that. Once Saturn stops aspecting her Venus perhaps Jupiter will bring her better suiters. IP: Logged |

Thansits dont make things happen in a certain way. they activate energies and these energies can take any way depending how the person is managing his-her own chart. I do not believe that people go crazy killing people or cheating or falling for taken men because there is a transit.. then astrology is very fatalistic and with that type of astrology I have nothing to do... then everybody would be justified in their bevahior.. POLICE. WHY did you kill this man..
