Traditionally the first week of libra is ruled by the moon. And Venus used to be thought of as similar to the water element.. Plus it's exalted in Pisces. My Venus is in Scorpio conj Pluto, so my libra sun, Mars and merc have a strong Pluto/Scorpio overtone, plus my rising is in Taurus so Venus is my chart ruler. Neptune makes a 0 degree trine to my asc, plus aspects every planet in my chart. I've had people guess I was a Pisces so many times! Friendly, artistic and spacey lol. i suppose ive been told I'm mysterious and a rather magical person so maybe that's why they think Pisces before libra.. I have a Virgo moon though and some Virgo influence so I'm faaar too analytical and objectively logical sometimes ha, my emotions are definitely more edgy focused and intense than soft and shape shifting though maybe they are? The delusional part of Pisces is what I don't really relate to but for all I know maybe everything I ever knew was one giant mirage? . IP: Logged |

I personally found cognitive behavior therapy the most useful for dealing with negative thoughts, as have others. I learned this in a support group for PTSD, so it was focused on that rather than depression and anxiety, but it can be used there as well. I think it should be taught in school. Summed up, it examines irrational negative thoughts about self and others (and how you think others view you), and the cognitive distortions that create them, and how to overcome that. Granted, it's not as easy as popping a pill (nor is it as profitable to therapists), and there does seem to be a strong tend these days to make sure no one is uncomfortable (even if this means keeping them weak rather than helping them heal--if I believed more in conspiracy theories...), but most of those in my group swore by it, and I certainly found it immensely helpful. I should point out that this is NOT any affirmation process like "People will be attracted to my positive energy." This is examining the distorted thinking itself rather than replacing negative distorted thinking with positive distorted thinking. IP: Logged |

Always can count on a Gemini Ascendant to derail a thread! (Me) Thanks for sharing. When I get back to the states I really need to check this out. ❤️
