Topic: Are fixed signs(Leo,Aquarius,Taurus,Scorpio) specifically Aquarius that stubborn?

^^^we al have different strength. I think Gem/Sag are made for each other. I also see lots of Gem/Virgo couples. All the fixed signs are mid-season (Taurus is mid spring, leo is mid summer, scorp is mid autumn, aqua is mid winter) so there's a lack of needs for adaptability. I think about how a gem can walks up to anyone and pick out all the details about a situation but yeah, we're just wired differently. I have the same problem with my gem friend. This is a very divisive post and negatively slanted to justify your own perspective. You are just as capable of being flawed as the next person, regardless of sign or planets in which houses and placements.It's interesting that the OP is a Gemini. So is Donald Trump. Currently what is he doing? Anything that's good for anyone? Is he fueling a hateful fire or being a decent fair human being? A pejorative stance against any human being with a single trait attribution is not helping anyone. Fixed signs, fyi, want to understand and be understood. The OP began this thread with a story about baiting someone. Notice the other person was still trying to find common ground, to be understood, to feel accepted. But the OP needs to be and feel superior so they remain calm. They call the person to bait them, don't care about them or how they feel, simply want to spin them out for entertainment. And then OP comes here to disparage an entire sun sign to show their superiority. Nothing about this thread was a healthy use of astrology. IP: Logged |

Uh...my fixed placements, and my husband's (as well as my Cardinal placements) make me incredibly stubborn, and I found no offense in this thread. And I am really easily miffed, so that's saying something.It's like saying that Mutable signs aren't adaptable or something. I'm a Pisces Sun, but due to my other placements (in Aquarius and Leo, specifically), not even remotely as adaptable or forgiving as many Mutables are said to be. I don't drop stuff. I cut people off. I find a lot of my Fixed influenced quirks (and my husband's) really funny, and as I mentioned before, rather ridiculous. But don't mess with my beliefs, yeah. They're subject to change, but with much thought involved, and advice/pushiness will not be well received. I don't see any issue in acknowledging these traits, personally. Edit.
To be fair though, my Cardinal placements and hard aspects undoubtedly contribute to a certain type of stubbornness (or rather the need to control) that is different from the Fixed type of stubbornness. IP: Logged |

I'm sorry this going to be a little bit OOT.my reaction to @Bear9 post about "superior" word reminds me of my ex who has similar chart with the op (except for the moon and mercury) and I said the same thing then we would argue.  But I don't see any issue in acknowledging these traits either as a fixed sign.  IP: Logged |

It is a matter of beliefs for me. Beliefs about not using astrology to harm another in particular.I don't like what OP did and then came here to say about their 'friend'. That's a set up. Friendship means you care about the person. OP didn't call that person because they're a friend. OP called that person to get ego fed and then come here and act ... yes, superior, but went further and trashed several sun sign generalizations into the mix to promote end goal. To offend and then make fun of that person and added a whole bunch more. It's just a bad way to treat someone who is or was supposedly a friend. Bad way to treat anyone. As a person who gets my shorts in a knot rather easily, I believe you are being a bit presumptuous about the OP. I saw nothing of what you're describing in her post. But, perhaps if it had been about Virgo placements, I would be as defensive (probably not quite that defensive). I've been known to go a bit overboard myself. Have those of you strong in Cardinal noticed this in themselves since Uranus, Pluto, and Saturn all shoved their way through our charts in the past six years? I have. I still let most things go, but some things I've found it impossible to let go of. I had an Aquarius Sun/Taurus Moon insulting me, when I couldn't get past something - telling me it was all water under the bridge (it isn't) - but she has held onto a grudge against her own brother for twenty-six years. I also trusted the Libra I mentioned before, but my trust in her was unwarranted, it seems, and I've never been able to get past that (it's been three years, and I'm still, "trust you once, shame on you, trust you twice, shame on me." Same with my Capricorn sister. Not that she's around, but our relationship will never be the same. My Aquarius Sun/Taurus Moon aunt - I've just realized her grudge is against my Leo uncle. As someone who is very heavy fixed and saturnian, i can tell you I remember everything. And it's a curse, because when you can't forget, you can't let go.And especially when i see a quality in someone that never changes, I can't seem to see pass it... IP: Logged |

Thats exactly correct. Lindaland is not the place to bash or spread biases. Rather to prove or disprove "astrology patterns" and observations in a open forum with other users. You can prove or disprove your hypothesis on astrology here. If you make a mistake acknowledge it and go back and try again.. thats how you learn. There was a user that passed away named RAS (runaroundscreaming) she went from no knowledge of astrology to doing full reading, she learned everything from lindaland.

If I didn't care I wouldn't' have called back and I whould of ran off in a typical Gemini fashion and yes were talking since then. Lol, do you have bais against Gems Bear 9? your bias is no better then my observation of fixed signs. I'm not trump, my chart is nothing like his. If I make a mistake on my observation..I'm willing to go back and learn from my mistake, thats what mutable signs do they adapt and change. quote:
