Sag ASC

People say I look serious and look like I'm mad or not having fun ALL THE TIME. Then other times people say I'm funny and lighthearted. So it really depends on the environment. I also have a 1H stellium in Capricorn, Moon square MC...

Sag asc

Conjunct saturn/uranus
Square MC
Neptune in 1st house

I appear serious but at the same time eccentric. Some people say I look like an important person and they still think I am, which makes me laugh inside. My bf told me when he saw me first he thought I was a very serious person, aloof, intimidating smart and give different movement/vibe that draw attention.

My friends say I bring joy when I smile/laugh and bring seriousness when I am quiet. Some of my friends dislike me when I am being a quiet person because they think I am mad/there's something wrong. Some say I appear unpredictable too.

But once people know me, I make jokes all the time and it always a fun fun time because I can not function well in boring situation.

^^ You know, I've frequently felt quite similar to that too. I give the impression of being angry at someone when I am serious, so I've many times had people feel intimidated and/or distrusting when approaching me as a friend :/ (however those who today are my friends really get me and don't remain in appearances so I can be myself). Even my face changes when I'm serious and becomes umm longer? XD And when I smile I do bring joy and make peoples faces light up. I love that.
And actually I love fun, witty and fun remarks about things and making people laugh.

Me and Mom both have a Leo ASC and both of us are described as feline in our walk, but in a different way. She more the pampered longhair, and me more the quiet alley cat. I can see how our upbringing would shape our individual walks, though perhaps the Leo ASC gave us a "feline walk" (later shaped further by life and habit) just as it seems to have given us both a thick mane of hair.

I'm a Libra Rising- 25 degrees
Asc square Mars (3)
Asc square Uranus (3)
Asc square Neptune (exact)
Asc conjunct NN (3)
Asc conjunct Pallas (4)

*I used all the aspects with degrees 4 or less*

When I am in my full Libra rising self I'm known to light up a room and have an air of grace and confidence. The Asc square Mars can make me come off as over-confident, abrasive or offensive sometimes. I like to say that it makes me suffer from foot-in-the-mouth disorder. The Asc square Mars makes me very independent. I can often be found by myself. This also makes me look a little bit more unique and have little unique qualities about my presence (my nose has a slight kink, and one eye is slightly bigger than the other). Both aspects however make me outspoken. The Neptune square Asc shows me often caught daydreaming or staring out into space. Along with my Asc conjunct Pallas, I seem creative and dreamy. The Asc conjunct NN makes me a chameleon, I can shape myself to any situation I'm in and often times in a class I'm popular, it pushes me to appear more outgoing than I really am.

I believe not only your ascendant, but your four angles say a lot about you when you meet someone. Mine are Taurus asc, Scorpio desc, Capricorn MC, Cancer IC.
My ascendant in Taurus definitely makes many aspects to other planets:
Trine Sun and Mercury
Inconjunct Moon (3 degrees)
Opposite Venus
Trine Mars
Semisquare Jupiter (2 degrees)
Inconjunct Saturn (2 degrees)
Sesquicuadrate Uranus (2 degrees)
Trine Neptune (2 degrees)
Opposite Pluto (tightest one, 0 degree)
Semisquare Chiron (1 degree)

The only one it doesn't make as aspect to is the North Node XD.

Taurus rising is Yin. Yeah, they can be reflective and shy.

My presence is pretty noticeable. People often think that I hate them when I meet them for the first time. (I don't.) I also have a resting b*tch face though it's not a severe as some people I have known...I think it looks more regal, or superior than anything. Like I know a secret that nobody else does. Lol.

I squint my eyes a lot too. People often comment that I look like I'm worried or thinking about something difficult.

I have Jupiter trine, Venus square and Moon/Mars opposite my Sag MC. Once I open my mouth, people are surprised by my attitude - which is generally live and let live. My 7th house stellium plays a part, too...I try not to force the same judgmental attitude I have for myself on others, so I come off as laid back in public.

This of course depends on me actually being in a room of crowded people...my 4th house Moon/Mars is just fine sitting at home.

Aquarius risings are pretty, but can be intimidating, in a detached way to other men, or women.

Gemini Asc
Capricorn MC

I believe I come across as very serious and no-nonsense (Cap MC); and then when you start talking to me I tend to be friendly and my face is very expressive (Gem Asc).

About the presence in a room thing... I can blend in (adapt myself) and pretty much choose whether I want to be noticed or not, but more often than not I'm rather quiet and don't draw much attention to myself (Mercury Rx in Scorp, 6H); unless I start talking - then people usually listen to me because I seem intelligent and like I have interesting things to say.
That's in a more formal setting.

In an informal setting it really depends on my mood... I can be the invisible one or the life of the party... (Moon sq. ASC).

Recently though a professor told me that I "have presence", but also that I tend to be "detached" (observe and not fully participate). Not sure if this has to do with synastry (all I know is that he's a Virgo, ha).

Totally off topic, but I'm curious.

Why do posters here always ask to not be quoted?

I have a lot of mutable energy (and Mercury square Uranus, opposing Saturn) and often regret what I say...plus I don't like seeing my own words repeated, especially if I wrote a long post, it takes up more space on the thread.

When I talk about my family I often go back and erase later out of respect for their privacy. I'll say something to contribute to the conversation while it's happening, but don't see the need for it to be a permanent story on the internet.

For me, sometimes that's the best way to have a semi-private conversation with someone, or a small group. There are various other reasons that I'm not going to run through a list.
I in particular have cycling extremes of being extroverted or introverted so it's nice to have that option. I acknowledge that it's not an enforceable thing, unless I'm wrong, but it's nice and most seem to comply with that request.

Back when I mingled with many subcultures, I found many thought I was one of them completely, even when I said I was not. If I was dressed differently than they were used to then I often wouldn't be recognized.

It's possible that my Leo ASC with Libra stellium helped me to blend in, and create a strong enough impression to seem more like I belonged than I did (and much harder to recognize when I didn't). Perhaps the heavily aspected Neptune creates illusions...people (especially back then) either intend to exaggerate me in both good and bad ways.

Can't forget how ready to bang or whatever so many think. I honestly don't know if that's my packed 5H Sag (including Mars and Neptune with Eros) radiating that out, or if it's just so many are obsessed with romance/sex that they assume I am as well, especially when so many fake (but well paid for telling everyone what they want to hear, which isn't the truth) "experts" are saying any acknowledgement of your existence has an ulterior (if possibly desirable) motive (like romantic/sexual interests, as in being actively sought).

Nothing to do how I'm dressed, either, though how I dress may affect the specific type of guys who think I'm into them (wearing a studded belt and stuff as part of my gothic look once had a guy thinking I was into S&M, for example, and back when I wore a fake wedding ring and tried to pass myself off as married attracted another type of guy, multiple ones). I can be covered and unfashionable, there to work, but I'm still "putting out signals" though I'm working, even ignoring pointedly ignoring the flirting, but somehow they're convinced I am.

Lots of females have assumed I was after her guy, or at least competition for the guy she wanted, when I'm not, and if they actually had some real intuition then they'd know that.

Scorpio Rising with Venus Cancer Rx and Saturn Pisces sR trine, Neptune Scorpio Rx in first.

Are you a Doctor Who fan? Remember the Silence? (If you can, you must be looking at one right now... lol!)

It's kind of like that. You may not even notice me, but when you do, you really do.

I have an Aquarius ascendant too and I've been told I look angry when I'm not displaying any expression at all. I've also been told I look intimidating and superior. I notice here that most of us are like that It's kind of paradoxical since Aquarius rules friendships, look at 11H too.

Gemini ASC - I get told I look spacey or like I'm thinking really hard. I'm pretty self-aware and make an effort to look like that so people don't notice how many times I'm rolling my eyes.
