I'm Pisces rising. Someone said once that I looked like I glided across the room, or floated like a ghost. People also tend to ignore me when I play my Piscean invisible/quiet game. Someone also said I look fragile, like Bambi the deer. You? How do people perceive your energy, or your presence? Both? IP: Logged |

Mine are a mixture of the Asc and the MC, Cap and Scorp, respectively. I am perceived as having a strong presence, stern, demanding and overall tough. It all goes to hell when I start to speak because I am (very) soft spoken haha. I'm also seen as too serious, rigid and overall the wet blanket. It works out in professional settings because I look trustworthy, but in social/intimate contexts it's problematic. People who got to know me better were surprised to see I'm fun to be around, once you get past the tough exterior, and you get a hold of all that fire. I have a lot of fire. I was also told I look brooding and as if I'm up to something, but I'm usually just lost in my thoughts. I have a very rich inner life that doesn't really transpire on the outside. I'm pretty discreet too. I do that thing too, of blending with the environment (I have Neptune parallel Asc), but in my case it's more due to looking rather modest/anything but striking, than being a shadow. lol I used to dress in browns and blacks a lot, nowadays I bring on the oranges and the pinks. The hell with all that gloom. You can tell from a mile away that t-Uranus is currently squaring my Asc. haha It's kinda sh*tty, this whole contrast. I don't really like it, I guess it's fear based due to my need of self-protection. :/ IP: Logged |

So you have Capricorn rising, if I were to assume?

Just making sure. My Virgo South node at work, I guess. Yeah, my niece has Capricorn rising, and she just comes off very serious and business-like. Then you get to know her, and her Sagittarius Sun side comes out, and all that fire in her chart! You'd think she was/is a stick in the mud first month you talk to her. IP: Logged |

I have cap asc conj saturn in the 1st house. With a truck load of cap placements. I don't think I have a strong presence. I don't often want to project a strong presence. Usually I like to be on the side and like to observe rather than join in. I attribute this to my 12th house stellium though. I like flying under the radar, one gets away with a lot of things that way. I've just made myself sound slimy and sneaky lol. In a professional setting, usually people perceive me as "competent" and "reliable". Then again, at work I like to come off that way, better than my default setting - makes me seem like I'm "out there" flirting with the butterflies. Once, after I cut a deal/negotiated with a potential partner, the person said that I was "Sly, and know which button to press". In friendly, more relaxing environment where I'm not alert and aware, then I may come off differently. Recently I made a new friend. He's a classmate. One day we sat next to each other in the library and got talking. I made some smart-*ss comment - it was a joke and aimed at no one. He was like "Ahaha and I thought you were sweet". Some people commented "You laugh and joke a lot" - I do take care not to unintentionally p*ss people off, my jokes are usually on the safe side. "You're easy to talk to" - because I let them say what they want with little to no comment, I suppose. "Easily amused" - I get this one a lot. My s.o's first impression of me was "too honest it hurts", "brazen but kinda interesting". I said some weird sht when I asked him out, so that's why. I have scorp MC and scorp pluto in the 10th house. Water singleton. Some descriptions say that it may make the native come off "dark" and "intense". I don't. Neither does my s.o, who also has cap rising and scorp pluto/MC (with saturn, mercury and pluto in the 10th house). IP: Logged |

Not the most fortunate Asc out there, but it has some perks. And, actually, the whole keeping people at a distance thing is not so bad, the ones that can appreciate the inside will go through the exterior, so in a way it's a cool selection tool. IP: Logged |

Aries ASC with Mars in AquariusNeptune conjunct Capricorn MC. Sun/Jupiter in first My presence draws a lot of looks. I've been told I look unusual, that I seem to be on a mission, etc. The Neptune/MC thing I think works only when I start talking to a person. There's like a moment when their eyes widen. If I went off the feeling I get I would say it's like I open and let them pour themselves into me. I've had comments like "wow" said in a low, slow, sort of mesmerised way. It's like I put them in a daze? But other than that I'm just some sort of freak that people like to look at. LOL! IP: Logged |

Virgo rising, Pluto in first and mars RIGHT behind asc. I was told just yesterday that I crinkle my face constantly (I'm just thinking!) and give off a look like "screw with me and it'll be your last". Another member here that I talk to outside LL teases me about having "resting b**ch face" and said that they'd never approach me if they didn't already know me. I've gotten similar comments from others, such as coworkers. IP: Logged |

I experience extremes. Sometimes I get far too much attention to be comfortable, and it's not adoration either, it's often a mixed bag of suspicion, wariness, curiosity, shock. Or, it is as if I am invisible.I suspect my state of mind, and therefore, presentation, determines which. Pluto-Mars-Saturn conj. Ascendant, sq. Venus-Mercury, trine Sun. Venus-Mercury trine Moon. Basically, all of me can be triggered, or hidden, at once. IP: Logged |

gemini ascendant jupiter opposite ascendant saturn square ascendantthe saturn bit comes off heavy because i'm also a capricorn stellium (sun, moon, merc, nep, uranus) so i've been told that i can be expressionless and while not really bitchy resting face i have a very stoic face. but once i get comfy with people i'm very chatty and the jupiter comes out. the jupiter bit helps to much in terms of sociability. it's resulting in me walking into a room and everyone knowing my name and walking up to me and chatting. but at first when i join some new group or something or some new member joins, i'm blank stone face as **** IP: Logged |

I come off as dreamy, inocent, shy, serious, reflective, understanding; and when I speak I often appear determined and a bit blunt. I give off a sense of self-confidence and aloofness at a time. People sometimes have mistaken my behaviour thinking that my character is different from what it really is.I believe not only your ascendant, but your four angles say a lot about you when you meet someone. Mine are Taurus asc, Scorpio desc, Capricorn MC, Cancer IC. My ascendant in Taurus definitely makes many aspects to other planets: Trine Sun and Mercury Inconjunct Moon (3 degrees) Opposite Venus Trine Mars Semisquare Jupiter (2 degrees) Inconjunct Saturn (2 degrees) Sesquicuadrate Uranus (2 degrees) Trine Neptune (2 degrees) Opposite Pluto (tightest one, 0 degree) Semisquare Chiron (1 degree) The only one it doesn't make as aspect to is the North Node XD. Aquarius ASC with Uranus in Capricorn and Pluto square ASC exactly. My presence is pretty noticeable. People often think that I hate them when I meet them for the first time. (I don't.) I also have a resting b*tch face though it's not a severe as some people I have known...I think it looks more regal, or superior than anything. Like I know a secret that nobody else does. Lol. I squint my eyes a lot too. People often comment that I look like I'm worried or thinking about something difficult. I have Jupiter trine, Venus square and Moon/Mars opposite my Sag MC. Once I open my mouth, people are surprised by my attitude - which is generally live and let live. My 7th house stellium plays a part, too...I try not to force the same judgmental attitude I have for myself on others, so I come off as laid back in public. This of course depends on me actually being in a room of crowded people...my 4th house Moon/Mars is just fine sitting at home. IP: Logged |
