Whoa crazy when my old posts get resurrected lol!

It's been almost 4 years since I posted my quote here and lots have changed in my life. I found my forever partner and we are busy raising a toddler together!

Looking back, I still feel pretty much the same about what I wrote. I want my home to be a happy place. Well... who wouldn't want that but growing up, my childhood wasn't always happy and peaceful.... I don't want my daughter to experience the same. What I didn't include in my quote last time is that I don't necessary need a partner to feel happy and home. I'm just as happy on my own.

After becoming a mother, I guess I'm very protective of my daughter that if someone is making me unhappy (could be anyone like my partner, family members, whatever strangers), I got no fear to fight back. I will take my daughter and get us out of toxic environment no problem. And more than ever, I feel super motivated to give my daughter and my little family a better life. I want to advance in my career and succeed. I'm prepared to fight and do what it takes.

Pisces 10th.

Unless we share common interest in our work I will find it difficult to glue together. It doesn't need to be the same work, but we need to share interest in each others work, and there must be a deep passion for it to the level that work is life and life is work in a healthy way (not in a burnout way).

Not saying that there is no play outside of work, but the work is definitely the glue (or rather, a vital ingredient in the glue).
