Don't know about all the other houses but I'll say what I think for Venus in the 7th. By relationships I'm guessing you mean romantic so I feel that in this house Venus usually makes the native need relationships to feel good about themselves and love others so they can be loved in return. I feel we don't love ourselves much until we have someone with us. People with this placement most likely have a gift with others because they usually see us as friendly and can bring out good parts of other people. I think people with this placement are the quickest to jump into relationships and Venus in the 7th is most likely the most beneficial house to have Venus in terms of finding an attractive partner or benefiting in a lot of ways just by associating with people. These are only my opinions, not facts. I also have Venus in the 7th H and that does not describe my approach to relationships at all. I do not need relationships - and lately I've felt completely okay with being alone - I have no desire to be in a relationship for a long time. Perhaps this is colored by Natal Venus opposite Saturn/Uranus in the 1st H, but Venus in the 7th translates more to being agreeable to others and keeping the peace. IP: Logged |

That opposition to Saturn would change the nature of Venus in that house. I wrote that looking at different celebrities unafflicted Venuses and my own unafflicted Venus.

I have Venus in my 9th house, conjunct Saturn and Jupiter.I am attracted to foreign lands and love to travel. I am also very serious about love and will not be in a relationship unless I know it will be serious and long term. IP: Logged |

It shows what you LOVE and what you appreciate. I have Venus in Gemini in the 9th. I fall in love with a man's mind, how he speaks, how his words fall off his lips and his humor. I really don't care, within reason lol, what he looks like ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE.

I can relate to that. If the person even talks a certain way, and I don't like it, it'll turn me off. attraction drops. if the person has certain physical flaw that i don't like it/can't get past it, attraction drops. if the person is not educated as me/above me, turns me off. if the person acts too childish / farts in front of me, turns me off. if the person's eyebrow is even cut uneven and i notice it, it turns me off. just to name a new... lots more! I have 3 planets in the 7th house ;Pluto, Venus and SaturnPluto is on the angle and so its effect may dominate the chart. Venus in 7th tends to afford one with the probability of initially being well received. If the 1st is our instinctual action. The 7th should suggest the publics or others instinctual re-action to us. When in Venus, it may suggest that it is usually favourable. When in Libra, people want to come towards us. Whilst when in Scorpio, people have an interest but are at the same time weary of us. If Venus is badly aspected in the 7th, it could mean that people may instinctively respond by giving you a hard time or not making things easy for you. And this may conversely affect ones perspective of the self as well as self esteem i.e " nobody likes me" etc. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in the 4th. I tend to try to make relationships where I can build a home with that person and set down roots (that is until my Aquarius Venus freaks out about the commitment)My boyfriend has Venus in 5th, before he met me he was a complete flirt and was very picky. He had many flings but only 1 girlfriend before me. His Libra Venus probably adds to his pickiness, but he now that he has me he is the best partner and brings me joy when I am down in the dumps. I have a Virgo 8H Venus, and I'm very picky. Like Ami said, I feel more like that's a sign thing. IP: Logged |

A little off topic but I would love to hear about your experiences with Pluto and Saturn in the 7th. I admire your analyses

I'm the same, 4th house Venus in Taurus. I haven't bought a home yet, but I have the money for a down payment for one. I'm just waiting for a correction in the housing market in Canada, then I make my move....once the prices come down. I impressed a Leo-Cancer sun female with the prospects of owning a home together . Not many people have there finances in order right now to do that. Plus, both my parents are Cancers so I've learned how to keep a clean home from my Mom and do home repairs from my dad. ==================================== Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising Aries Moon Gemini Mercury Venus Taurus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

Venus in the 6th HouseI feel like there is a very defined sense of give-and-take in my approach to love. If someone does something for me I feel the need to return the gesture otherwise I'm left with a lingering sense of debt even if they tell me it's alright. Also I only ever truly feel love by acts of service. Romantic words, gestures or physical touch all fall flat and seem like a formality. The only thing that genuinely humbles my heart, knocks down my walls and makes it clear to me that I am loved is when someone helps me in some way. I would appreciate input by other 6H Venus people because mine is bombarded by aspects and it's hard for me to determine if this quality really come from 6H influence or if it's something else. Aries is on the 1st house cusp. Here the call is to be the self. Most Aries Asc people may grapple with issues of identify, being "fully" themselves, asserting themselves to the environment and self-actualization. Aries desires absolute freedom and the full expression of the self. I almost feel that the incarnation I have in this life,is to feel absolute freedom and do away with any areas that may bring on restrictions. With Saturn and Pluto in Scorpio and in the 7th house, I feel I do want to be intimate and exclusive. It may sound like an altogether contradiction to absolute freedom to be "exclusive" -as Saturn in 7th speaks of restriction in relationships. But I feel that with Scorpio/Aries sharing a ruler, there is common ground. A need perhaps to do away with pretenses and accept oneself "as is". Scorpio wants one to embrace the "shadow" side whilst Aries wants to be themselves absolutely. Is one intent not(on a divine level) synonymous with the other? Because I feel like I hunger for absolute affection(Pluto in 7th).That all consuming kind etc. The interesting thing is that when I had a psychic do a reading for me, one of the things she said was "I feel a need to be loved. This feeling is on a palpable level. Have you not found someone?" I think what she meant was that the yearning I have,is too great to be filled by romantic love. I think she meant it is the need for compete self-love, complete self-acceptance-which is like accepting my "shadow" side. All corresponding with Pluto in Scorpio in 7th. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Pisces House 6 I find Venus in 6th house hard to define. But for me, as dreamy as I can be with Pisces in my Venus, my love or my relationship has to be of use or serve me in some way. But I'm not sure if that's defined by my 6th house Venus because I'm a Solar & Mercurial Capricorn and Virgo rising. IP: Logged |

Another venus 4th houser here but I don't feel this way...? I don't wanna build a home with a person unless I'm completely happy and satisfied in the relationship. I like to have lots of freedom and be free to express myself when in relationships. I'm very direct when it comes to expressing my love also. My venus is in Aries, trines my Sag asc. I think I relate to the sign more than the house. IP: Logged |

The want/need to build a home life with someone is still there just gets expressed differently. As you mentioned once you feel satisfied in the relationship. ==================================== Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising Aries Moon Gemini Mercury Venus Taurus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |
