Mines in the same spot at the moment. I have both sun and moon in the 8th house and Mercury on the 9th cuspPluto retrograde is conjunction my sun widely and my Mercury quite close. And frankly I'm happy for the chance to tie up the last Pluto lesson loose ends. Because its conjunction my sun it means that now is optimum time to become who I want to be Look at the last decade or so and see what's been happening. The best way to describe it working on me: everything was a ******* mess, hit rock bottom.. Then the bottom gave out and I found the sub basement. From there came grittiness and everything needed to build everything back up better than before. A house hit rock bottom and what's in its place now is a fortress. While I always had money when I needed it it always came with a very high soul price. A lot of manipulation with money in my youth. With 'death' and the 8th house.. It wasn't concievable for me to think that I'd live past 21. I though I'd die by then. Felt like natural and not suicidal thoughts for me. I'm on the way to 22 now though so obviously I'm alive. And I feel like I've been reborn. Emotional, psychological, physical abuse in my youth. But I, alone, pulled myself out of it. I made the decision to do the things I had to do to get myself out of it. With it retro grading, I'm finally in therapy and dealing with old trauma because of how it affects me today. It's been less that 2 months and I've noticed differences. And with it retro conjunctions Mercury I'm finally coming to terms and getting help for my dyslexia. I'm no longer say 'oh but I'm successful so I'm fine' yah no. It's robbed me of a life. So during the retro period, if you feel anything that feels like it needs to be taken care of, do it. If you don't then when it goes direct it will gut punch you rather that what it's doing now which would be like a wee tap on the shoulder. Take the bull by the horns. My god, handle your finances! If you want to become someone better do it! Get help if you need it! Break down everything that could hold you back! Hell, half the stuff that's been holding me back I didn't even notice until it was dealt with by my counsellor. Pluto retro in the 8th house = 'the only limitation is myself.' Hopefully this helps IP: Logged |

Could it mean less transformative in 8th house matters? Even obstinate? Mine is the 9th (retrograde)and I never got my homework done on time or in full. I must have been a nightmare for my instructers. 😑IP: Logged |

The retrograde planet means that it's energies are more focused internally or that the 'feeling' of the planet is more internal. With Pluto in the 8th house, it means that 8th house issues such as sex, death, taboo, resources, intimacy become very personal for you and/or they could hold an 'unwarranted' fascination for you. I only say unwarranted because they are topics that most other people seem to just want to skirt around the topic while for you, you could most likely spend hours discussing them and have no issues with it while others shift uncomfortably in their chairs and keep looking for a way out. The more we run away from this Pluto power dictates how much society controls us, for once we accept this retrograde energy, we gain something that many people can't understand and don't want to. We can stare death in the face without flinching. IP: Logged |
