http://sasstrology.com/2008/10/mars-in-gemini-square-venus-in-virgo.html

This article claims that having venus in virgo sqaure mars in gemini is the most difficult to handle and live with. I'm lucky enough to have this aspect exact. I'm only 21 (turning 22 on the 24th of this month :]) but I constantly worry about channeling this energy and dealing with it when I'm slightly older. Anybody else have this aspect in the natal? Experiences? What makes this one especially difficult to reconcile?

I wouldn't believe it. Honestly (don't take offense please) I deal with someone who has Virgo Venus square Mars in Gemini and sometimes he drives me up a wall. It is very frustrating.

I've heard the hades moon phenomena was the hardest, since the moon is such a sensitive position being acted upon by one of the most powerful planets that aim to intensify something so sensitive...yeah, not good. I have one myself so :/

Have you caught onto the predicament I'm in yet?

Cap Moon sq Pluto is no fun. Neither is Pluto sq Sun. Or Pluto sq Mercury. Or Saturn sq Uranus. Or Chiron sq Venus. Or Venus sq Uranus.

Yeah, I'm pretty square :-/

Man, I don't know. You could ask me on different days and I'd give you different answers. So.... yeah.
That said, Venus square Neptune certainly is no picnic.

I find it strange that Venus is supposed to be exalted in Pisces and yet people seem to downplay Venus-Neptune aspects (even conjunctions) as being problematic. Venus-Neptune square is understandable, but why the conjunction? That's my question.

Sheesh. All squares are difficult in my opinion.

At least Pluto squares gives you some type of personal power.

Uranus squares are too wild so it's hard to get ahold of the energy and figure out what exactly is causing the chaos.

Saturn squares make you feel so low about yourself that you don't even have any enthusiasm left to work on those.

Neptune squares are similar to Uranus. Hard to grasp so hard to solve.

The easiest squares to handle in my opinion would be squares involving only personal planets. They're more front and center and closer to your heart so maybe that makes them easier to sort out.

I have Moon square Neptune/ Uranus natally as well as Saturn square Sun, Mars, ASC. I don't have any Pluto squares but I do have a Scorpio stellium conjunct Pluto.

It's not all bad. Saturn squares get the job done at least. I can always count on Saturn.

squares, like understanding quantum physics and believing a false accusation that nothing is as it seems, making you freak out and feel like everythings an illusion (which is not so IMO), is just like defining squars in text books.

before i knew i had squares, i felt fine. after reading textbook anologies of how they were like flaws in character, i felt very flawed and like a weirdo.

I have Venus in Virgo square Gemini Mars exact, too.

I doubt that it's most difficult square to have. Especially when I think about those dealing with Sun or Moon squares to the outer planets.

For the record, I have:

Mercury square Moon
Mercury square Mars
Venus square Moon
Venus square Mars
Pluto square ASC
Venus square MC

:'( Don't say! My 11 year old daughter has this aspect. She has very heavy emotions. I am pretty sure those are a big part of causing her rheumatoid artritis. I am sure she will be good though it's just hard to channel the emotions.

I wouldn't read any chart like that. It so depends on the rest of the chart etc.. Relax! Plus what you give energy focus grows. What you believe in is real. You decide what it means to you. You can either judge it as 'bad' or 'hard' or see it as a major growth opportunity. People with squares get things done. I'd say, they know the *juice of life*

I only have one of these but still have a problem choosing: Moon square Neptune or Moon square Saturn.

I think squares between personal planets are a piece of cake in comparison to those with personal planets (the Moon in particular) and Saturn+.

Or try Moon square Uranus - emotionally awkward and its really hard to stay close with one person. You always feel the need to break free from everything thats emotionally normal.... but thats just because I got it myself.
I see people with squares to pluto or venus really have a hard time with others though

A decade later and I still can't channel them. Well, but she has a lovely mom like you, so I'm sure she'll be okay.

Umm, it's hard to say and also unfair to label just one as the hardest. They're hard in different ways, on different days. Sometimes they're a blessing in disguise. I've a bunch of them myself. Squares & semi-squares (those can really build up over time and catch you unaware). Can't say which causes the most pain. I could say Moon square Pluto is most emotionally draining, but then the Saturn squaring my Sun-Merc-Mars stellium is a huge pain in the @$$ too. Constantly self-censoring and holding yourself back is not a better or worse problem than outta-control emotions, it's just a different one.

If and when you find they's being physically debilitating, is the time to take stock and "work on yourself". Doesn't sound too sanguine, I know.. But the solution to most squares lies within, not without. They're just trying to mould us a certain way, and we're resisting. I think of them as battles in an internal civil war. One doesn't have any energy left to tackle outside problems if one lets these run amuck. They're usually fighting over something that can be settled easily with negotiations. If we could get the warring factions to cease n desist and declare peace, wouldn't that be peachy?

I'm trying to remember mine.

Moon square Mars
Venus square Mars
Nodes square Mars

Saturn square Mercury
Saturn square Jupiter
Saturn square Pluto

I think that's it.

Here's my top 5 list

5) Moon square Neptune
Depression much?

4) Saturn square Mars
The Father Wound

3) Uranus square Mercury
Whom the Gods would destroy...

2) Chiron square Venus
The Wounded Lover

1) Pluto Square Moon
My emotions go to eleven (11!)... and get stuck there. No volume control.

I have three of these. Fortunately two of them are part of T-squares, which helps a lot, and the third has a wide enough orb that I generally don't consider it as a core aspect.

If I were making a list of the worst squares to have in a natal chart, i don't think any Mars-Venus squares would make the list. They can cause a sexy, intriguing kind of friction in the chart that isn't always bad. They would only make the list if you add a heavy-hitter planet into the dynamic and make it a T-square.

I have Moon square Pluto natally at a slightly-wide orb. It's not so bad. Yes, my emotions go up to eleven and stay there, and I have no emotional self-regulation (at least not internally--Cap rising and Moon-Saturn conjunction give me outer dignity in public), but it's been great for my creative work. The worst square in my chart is a my Aries Chiron-Cancer Venus-Libra Uranus t-square, and it's much more awful when something is hitting the Chiron in synastry or transits. The worst, most painful aspect in my chart is a conjunction (Moon-Saturn in Cancer, 7th house)--my expressions of my moon are painfully restricted. Luckily, i don't have Saturn-Pluto square natally---it's out of orb.

Here are the Astro squares I think are worst, based on people whose lives I know well whose charts I've seen:

-Sun square Saturn
-Pluto square Saturn
-Chiron square Venus
-Moon square Uranus
-Mars square Saturn (fixed signs most gruesome with daddy issues)
