@frankie She had a hard time dumping her boyfriend who cheated on her and treated her badly bc she found him so handsome (these are her own words) and also bc of his popularity, that is very shallow to me. And the fact that she can be so jealous of other pretty girls to a point where she acts like they have done something bad to her and will act so unfriendly towards an innocent girl that have done nothing to her just bc she finds her pretty is also very shallow and immature to me.

I get Frankie's point but like what you are saying here.

I think your friend just sounds really insecure. As much as I love finding a guy I have great chemistry with who I find attractive and want to jump on lol if he is ignoring me and not giving me enough attention as a female with Venus in leo that is to me treating me badly and taking me for granted and I would have to let him go even if it kills me bc I can't stand that.

That is one thing about my husband in the 9 years I have known him he has never given me the silent treatment or ignored me and gives me attention. Everyone has a deal breaker for me is you ignoring me, giving me the silent treatment, not giving me attention; I need to feel I am a priority and matter to you, that you want me in your life.

Leo is more simple...
Mostly because the sun rules leo... it doesn't have to think about who it is

The sun falls in Libra...

That doesn't make Libras shallow of course. But in contrast with Leo, Libras are quite difficult to understand. I think libra as a sign is pretty misunderstood tbh...

That kind of behavior is really common. I don't see how it can be tied to Leo or Libra in some general sense.

I have thought it was mostly high school ages and younger, but today I've been remembering how often I've run into it since then. It's just now I'm not forced to be around those people, so contact is minimal, but I still run into them.

Furthermore, insecurities are stoked in everyone so that corporations can sell them stuff (and others also like to manipulate). It's been awhile since I paid close attention to the popular media, but I believe that shows the same characteristics (meaning it's common because so many people relate to it, meaning a great many people are shallow as described in this thread). And would 50 Shades of Grey have still been a bestseller if Christian Grey had been some ordinary middle class guy who looked liked Homer Simpson while otherwise acting exactly (just cheaper gifts and properties) like Christian Grey?

I think more mature Leos and Libras aren't resentful or jealous about other people's beauty or status--the ones I know are warmly supportive and celebratory about other's success.

honestly, i believe perceptions of shallow-ness have more to do with consciousness and soul age than the actual signs.. though i suppose certain signs are more prone to keep it "light" and superficial over others.

also, libra has shown through recent studies to be in fact, the most intellectual sign of the zodiac.

i have a very close friend who is a leo sun with his moon in leo, venus in virgo and his Neptune is conj his DC in the 6th which i think contributes HUGELY to his sensitivities and avoidance of "heavy" and "deep" topics. intense emotions make him uncomfortable and hes rather detached and cold. he loves fashion and beauty and typically has very light and superficial conversations that are not overly personable. studying and that sort of thing is not his forte, i feel like his passions are naturally expressed creatively and through action, not intellectually. he cares a lot about appearances, in himself and in others.

my experiences with other libras i wouldn't necessarily consider shallow, but theres certainly a "judgmental" quality inherit in the sign, and with virgo influence can come across as fairly critical and harsh. majority of libras i know, own really really awesome stuff, so materially, libra could be guilty of overspending but they really do buy the best presents lol
a lot of libras i know are pretty intellectually adept nontheless, i wouldn't consider the mind a weak asset to libra and many that i know are very open to discussion. i think libras need to please and be accepted makes it seem more superficial than it is, but at its lowest level, it can certainly manifest itself that way..

but i mean.. think of carl jung, he was a leo with Taurus moon conj pluto, and he is probably the closest person to be able to explain the depth and complexity of the collective unconscious. i know pluto plays a huge part, but the point is that you cant single out someones sun sign..

which leads me to ask this question.. what do you consider "shallow"?
physical materialism that only focus's on basic appearance and light, tangible topics?
