Cancer is a strong sign (I actually think I may make a thread about it). Also it is surprising to me how many people got the same sign as their actual sign (despite the fact that it makes complete sense) lol

Those are my dominants. I wonder though with this being done,which is the most important?

My guess would be where the element is placed as well as the mode of expression.

I tested this on my siblings and other people i know.

My sister has always been very fiery for a Taurus Sun. And sure enough, she has Fire dominant with Cardinal as the dominant mode of expression.

So she is very similar to the archetype Aries in her general expression (Her Venus,Jupiter and North Node sign)

The younger one has always seemed very "fixed" to me because of her slow and methodical ways.

And yes, she has Water as the dominant element and Fixed as the mode of expression. The archetype Scorpio expression(Her Sun,Mercury,Venus,Pluto and North node sign)

Mutuable modal expressions are hard to pin down.They really are the great "Houdini" and can find an escape route in most situations. In fact, they are the 1st to ask "so where is the exit?"

In my case, the water/mutuable mode of expression corresponds to Pisces archetype. I no planet, save for Lilith in Pisces. But nevertheless I agree

I always "feel" myself through things and am very much in my own world most times lol.

Remember that this is not to say that you should "relate" to someone who is Aries because of your dominants. Because they could have other dominants at play in their chart.

I'm 34.7% fire, 26.8% water (wow just noticed that).

Element wise - its a tie between fixed and mutable both are 36%.

And sign wise - top 3:
Scorpio (15.8%)
Gemini (14.6%)
Aries (13.5%)

My dominant is fixed fire (leo) but mutuable almost ties with fixed and I am very "Houdini-like" tbh. Would not have guessed Pisces for you but it makes sense. Oh and good job adding the difference between displaying archetype traits and trying to relate to someone just b/c they may be that sign. I've said something similar before.

@*Golden_Wing*: Understandable. In my case the chart alone seems to be the least accurate for me though. I am VERY organized and methodical, yet according to my chart Gemini Moon/Mars should make me be pretty messy and also very social. Virgo was my second dominant sign based on this method and it fits a lot. I'm reserved and only talk a lot once you know me and I''m a neat-freak. I'm still very Gemini (I love words, writing, etc.) but my Virgo traits are undeniable. I am also more obsessed with image, luxury, and manners than the average Sag (I even dress up to go to sleep knowing nobody can even see me lol) and turns out Leo (fixed fire) was my top most dominant energy,

@Ceridwen: You would be the one to think of the "anti-essence" signs . I didn't actually look at what mine was, but I'm definitely going to check.

I see what you're saying Electro, the sign listed as the highest ranked sign is not always accurate to me either. It depends though, b/c for example it really fit for Sylven but not for my sister. The sign resulting from the dominant element / mode of a person's chart seems to be more telling to me most of the time . LOL I love how you're not down for the the awesomeness of Aquarius being claimed by just any and everybody

I've been constantly contemplating why I feel so different from Aquarius as if the descriptions don't necessarily "vibe" with me as much as they should. While the logic says yes, the feelings say no and I'm just like, "DAMMIT, which is it?!"

Obviously not everyone can be an Aquarius; that would totally kill off its eccentricity. Being Aquarian must mean being iconoclastic in the "Aquarian Age" as well, as ironic as that sounds lol. That's how I've been

lol @ the Aquarian Age part , you are right. As for your confusion I blame Scorpio Asc. I say this b/c I have never met a single Scorpio Asc who didn't feel closer to their Asc than their other placements. It's just something that comes with it and with good reason
