LittleBlackCat unregistered	posted July 23, 2016 03:47 PM Once upon a time I posted some pics of myself here and nobody guessed my Sun right (many even guessed signs I didn't have anywhere in my chart). I realized this was b/c the astrological energies that I did have gave the impression of a particular sign when mixed together. For example, lots of earth / mercury apparently made me look quite "Virgonian" lol (even though I only had Virgo Mid.H). So a few days ago I revisited the topic with a thread on having traits of an alternate sign via the fusion of astrological energies. I was on to something but did not have a clear-cut method for it (which made things rather confusing / messy). Thankfully,Ceridwen mentioned a method she read about on how to find your "essence sign" or "sign-signature" that involved counting which elements were strongest then counting which modality is prominent. Then you lookup which sign is in that element and modality and voilà. I originally just looked at my chart and counted how many planets/ placements I had in each fire sign, earth sign, air etc. and then did the same with modes. However, I felt this would not give accurate results as aspects and position (such as Asc. vs an outer planet) were not taken into consideration. So I went to Astrodienst to find my dominant energies that way (b/c aspects, houses, etc. are counted). So with Ceridwen's help and a little twist on the method, anyone can find their Hybrid or Essence Sign. Follow the instructions below and share what you get (it may surprise you). INSTRUCTIONS: 1.) Go Here . Enter info . Click Submit: http://www.astro.com/cgi/ade.cgi?ract=genchart.cgi&lang=e 2.)Click where it says Pullen/Astrolog 3.)Select Simple Chart Delineation by Walter Pullen from the drop-down menu. Enter. 4.)Go to your browser's "find on page" tool (ctrl+F on Win / cmd+F on Mac) and type "element". Enter. 5.)You should now see which element and mode are highest in your chart by percentage. Whatever sign is the combination of that mode/element is your Fusion Sign (the signs you are by way of astrological energies fusing together). So if your highest mode is cardinal and your highest element is fire then you're a Fusion Aries (which can make you very similar to but still different from a Natal Aries). For extra fun: Look right above that to see which planet is your highest (under the total rank section). You could easily be an Aries with your highest planet as Venus IP: Logged

If you looked at the most dominant element / mode in your entire chart using the Pullen Chart method (which considers aspects, houses,signs placement, etc.) and you still got Taurus(fixed earth)then congratulations you are a true Taurus through and through It is perfectly possible for your fusion sign to be the same as your actual sign but if you didn't follow everything there is a possibility it may not be. I have Uranus conjunct my IC, and Aquarius Mercury conjunct my Dsc. It seems slightly more fitting to me, although the Pisces is there for sure, at least in energy. IP: Logged

Violets you are the third person that got the same thing as your Sun (which I think is adorable ). However, you may very well feel closer to your second most dominant element/modality combo if there was only a small power/percentage difference from the first. I personally have Fixed Fire (36.2 % and 33.4 % respectively) as my most dominant and Mutuable Earth (35.2% and 24.4% respectively) as second. The percentages of these Leo and Virgo energies are so close that I can easily be dominated by either at any time really. IP: Logged

My highest %: Planet: Jupiter Element: Water Mode: Mutable Sign: Pisces So, yep, like I had mentioned..I am like a Pisces. I have two planets in Pisces. In reality I am a Capricorn sun/Sag moon/Scorp asc. I have never identified with Capricorn sun. I identify with Sag and Scorp a lot...and those were my two next highest percentages (both 16%..Pisces was 18%). I identify with Pisces a LOT. IP: Logged

I suppose it's worth mentioning again that my Moon is in Virgo, and in tight opposition to my Sun. My Sun is also conjunct "true" BML, and conjunct "mean" BML by about 4 degrees, so those two things may well overshadow it a bit (for better or worse). IP: Logged

Dang it I was hoping everyone would forget what I look like . My fire / air find posting pics to be fun (fire for vain reasons, air for research reasons). However the only thing my Scorpio Asc hates more than taking pictures is sharing them with others. Such conflict lol. @frankie2912: Did I ever respond to you in that thread? I usually respond to everyone so most likely but I don't think you came back. It's weird b/c you being Pisces dominant followed by Sag and Scorp is like what would happen if my brother and I fused lol. All the other Sag are so hype / loud lol. When I'm on here my Gemini Mars / Moon is usually doing the talking which makes me seem more social / friendly than I am the only reason I am sort of different on here. Come to think of it a fire / air heavy person like me should be a social butterfly but Pluto had other plans. By the way I'm not surprised that you got Sag, you always gave me that vibe (and of course your Pisces moon is super obvious), but nope can't say I ever think of Cap... IP: Logged
