It's not helpful to think of it that way.Just do your best every day. Dark chocolate is good for weight loss if you like it. Keeps you filled while keeping your mood elevated, so you aren't as prone to comfort eating. At least, it works that way for me. http://livehealthy.chron.com/effects-dark-chocolate-reducing-weight-5330.html Jupiter in Virgo is actually a good time to learn some healthy habits. If your weight is increasing, you have all the more incentive to determine what works for you and what doesn't. Jupiter's about learning. Just don't stress about it. IP: Logged |

I started losing weight with Tr Jupiter in Gemini in my 7th house, and from there moving through my 7th house, including conjunct my SN, square Jupiter, opposite Neptune, trine Pluto, trine Moon, opposing Sun-Mercury, opposing Venus. It didn`t prevent me from losing weight though.
(now the transit through Leo was a bit of a difficult phase, as I was just too lazy and comfortable. lol)

I don't have this aspect or a Sag ASC but tJupiter is in my 1st house and my ASC ruler is in Sag. I'm lighter than I've been in years and I'm surprised how easy it is for me to maintain it I don't pay attention to calories and I'm hardly physically active. I had a medical situation last month that made me lose some weight but I would've expected to gain it all back by now. I'm wondering how the square to my ASC ruler (coming soon) will affect me. Anyway, I'm sorry it sucks for you. I think it's really important that you control your diet. You may be different but I try to eat healthy and it's enough for me, even though I still eat sweets (mainly chocolate). If you're serious about getting slimmer, I suggest you check your thyroid hormones, testosterone and androstenedione, their imbalance could screw up your metabolism. I used to be overweight, btw.Oh, one more thing. Have you had tJupiter square your ASC yet? ------------------ The first psychic femdroid on the market. IP: Logged |

That's interesting.. I've always heard that, but never tried it out. Not much of a chocolate person. But this won't be your typical 'sweet' chocolate, right? What % cacao chocolate do you have..? And what kind would you recommend to a beginner? ETA: Gosh, I didn't know they make 100% bars too.. Akesson’s Madagascar 100% Seems to be real popular. OP, I second this ! If you think of it as a beneficial influence instead, it might become so too.. Well, even if not - it's fine, we all fall off the wagon every now n then. You'll find your rhythm again soon enough.. IP: Logged |

(I believe my grps and friendships might be under this square. I have experienced this rough angle, I think). However my 1st house is ruled by Sag. *huge sigh* Could that denote a physical growth/abundance? I have been fighting my decadent palate (addictions to comfort foods) thus weight gain from the past year. Despite having some fitness routines, my waistline has managed to grow. *rolls eyes at herself*. Can anyone offer knowledge with the aspect I am having? Thank you.
it is common for Jupiter transits to "expand" the waist line if you will.. since its the planet of expansion and "large" things it typically has that type of influence whenever it touches a personal planet/angle so forth. and this applies to transits, as well as natally. IP: Logged |

Heh, I did think of tSaturn and where it might be in relation to your ASC. I too believe it would be a helpful influence. An aspect to your Jupiter also could prove helpful. Saturn will be square my again after it's done with retrograding. Lately I've been seriously considering dropping (mammal) meat and I kinda want to start exercising but it will have to for a while. I guess it's a combination of tSaturn and tJupiter. quote: Somewhere I thought I read Sagittarius can also be athletic?
Sure, if you put some effort into it. When once upon a time I rode a stationary bike on a daily basis I was satisfied with the results, especially when it comes to my legs. Sag is associated with thighs Sometimes I miss having toned legs, now they're almost chicken, ugh. Btw, I can feel your belly fat pain, it's the worst area for me. I wish my boobs were at least as good at accumulating fat :/ quote: Veggies are wonderful.
You're lucky to think so.Maybe we should start a support thread for people with a Sag or Sag/Jupiter influenced ASC? We're probably most prone to weight fluctuation and getting overweight/obese. ------------------ The first psychic femdroid on the market. IP: Logged |

Jupiter is one of those planets in which if you don't follow it, then it will make sucu noticeable. My sister has a natal Virgo Jupiter, and honestly she never tries to be organized, stop with her sugar eating habits, and never focuses on her homework as much as she needs to, and so with Jupiter there, it is blown so out of proportion that it is noticeable. Her room is like walking into a minefield, she can't stop eating sugar 24/7 despite how many times my family and I have told her to stop, and she can never focus on her homeworked. If she followed her Jupiter, she would gain many great things, but she doesn't, and Jupiter makes that prevalent. ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. Well technically I'm her older brother lol. She's a 8th House Taurus Sun and a 10th House Cancer Moon with a Virgo Ascendant. Her Jupiter falls in her 12th house. ------------------ Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune Scorpio Mars conj. I know it's a transit, after all I wrote tJupiter (meaning, tranist Jupiter) and it's not like you can have 2 Jupiters in a chart. tJupiter is at 21 Virgo now and Scorpio and Virgo are sextile by sign. Currently there's not even a sextile between them, tJupiter would have to be around 5 Virgo. At first I wasn't sure what you meant by the 11th house connection and then it went over my head. Then I tried to picture your chart and noticed there must be something wrong and well, it is. You're welcome :P ------------------ The first psychic femdroid on the market. IP: Logged |

If your natal Jupiter really is at 5 Scorpio then it can't be receiving a square from the transiting Jupiter now. What you want to watch out for is tJupiter conjunct your Jupiter (you can call it nJupiter) which will happen next year. So called the Jupiter Return. In theory it should be a joyful, expansive time. Let's hope it'll skip expanding your body ------------------ The first psychic femdroid on the market. IP: Logged |

I am usually eating in the 70% range but some types still taste good to me, up to 85%. Like this: And I also eat cocao nibs. As for grocery store chocolate, I like Ghirardelli and Lindt though I prefer to buy organic/fair trade with chocolate of all things. I just don't like the flavor of Green & Black or Dagoba (which was purchased by Hershey, and they don't know how to make good chocolate, IMO.) They sell this at Whole Foods, I really like it and it's not too strong (good beginner's chocolate): Plain green tea is also great for weight loss (!) along with basically all vividly-colored natural foods.
