Well I read this article here http://anneortelee.com/ Interestingly the years 2012-2015, she mentioned, were ABSOLUTELY pivotal for me, so I got curious, and looked how the transit chart of the exact Mars-Saturn-conjunction was affecting my chart. What do you think?

BTW the story of the 5 and 3 year old made me quite ... temperamental, I wanted to smash something against the wall. How could the mother do that???? Stupid and ignorant. The poor girls, and actually both girls learning such a strong and wrong lesson like that and probably being shaped in their perception of males and female archetypes in a most unbalanced way! While it's certainly not a healthy way of teaching children to share (that's an understatement, of course), my only thought regarding the parents and children in the article is that they might be rather poor, and couldn't afford to buy two meals for the kids (especially given the cost of food in airports)...maybe a family member had paid for the plane tickets? My Pisces Sun shows through in my heartfelt empathy for people struggling with poverty, so I tend to give the benefit of the doubt. But yeah, not cool to literally steal food from one child to give to another, and teach the second child not to say anything about it. A better approach would have been to simply state that the food was too expensive, and they would have to share (if that was indeed the case, which is a bit of an assumption of course). I won't defend the method by any means, but I will question why they felt the need to do that in the first place. In other news, this is squaring my Sun and Moon, and conjunct my Neptune/NN. My son and I will have this in synastry forever, so hopefully his Saturn on my NN will help me along my path. IP: Logged |

My little brother has become a Dad for the first time on 4th august, too, and Tr Saturn of course was at the same spot then and falling onto his natal Moon-Jupiter-Uranus. The little one already has made him grow up A LOT.

Congratulations to you and your family, Ceri! So far, this dynamic has just been amazing for me. I'm sure that my son having his Moon conjunct my Venus, and trine my NN and my husband's Venus is helpful as well. But I certainly do feel lighter spiritually and emotionally, and much more clear-headed. IP: Logged |

Ceridwen, interesting that it's on your Neptune. It's on my Neptune, too, although at a much looser (3) orb.....I'm curious what that will bring. Maybe action around busting up your illusions? For you, it has to be a good and powerful/empowering thing, since it's on your NN....good and necessary change? Is anything big happening for you today?IP: Logged |

Thank you, Violet. And yes, I can relate to what you wrote about the clearheadedness. Somehow priorities change within an instant. And he`s not even my child. lol But we are a closely knit family maybe that is why I feel so strongly affected. IP: Logged |

Lucia, well I am not sure. With Saturn-Neptune I always think it either means crushing your dreams, busting your illusions as you said or making intangible things tangible, somehow earth and anchor those dreams. But too often it is the former, I fear. Of course I find it interesting that it happens so shortly after my Mars-Return, and having a Saturn transit to my Neptune while there is this transiting Saturn-Neptune-square ongoing. Though I have no clue what it really means. Yes, something very big happened for me as it was the first time I was holding my little nephew on my arm. And this was indeed very special. Though I did not quite want to at first, as i don`t have children and always am afraid of doing something wrong or somehow hold him wrongly, but well my mother simply pushed him into my arms, and noone really had to tell me how to hold him, though I consciously did not know, I guess there must be some kind of female instinct how to hold a baby, left, even in me. Though I was afraid for his safety as the little one is such an active one and moving so much, and then just looking up at me, and even later when my brother was feeding him, following me with his eyes. Even though technically he should not be able to do that, right? I mean he is only 3 weeks.
But well yes so for me it was a special day. And as I already said to Faith, the day did not feel like Mars-Saturn should feel probably, much too emotional, sentimental, affectionate, emotionally open and so on. And that to an Aqua Moon! lol Maybe it was the mix of them with Neptune? Neptune sort of making things softer? IP: Logged |

Awww, absolutely Neptune---one dimension of Neptune is that it's the highest octave of love.Maybe the Saturn-Mars added seriousness to your expression of your Neptune. I believe newborns can have a special magic and be able to connect with us in ways they aren't biologically supposed to be able to. I bet he was following you with his eyes on an ethereal level at least, like, Hey, I'm here, I love you! After my breakdown yesterday morning, I'm feeling pretty strong today. IP: Logged |

The Mars/Saturn conjunction is in my 1st house. Depending on the orbs you use it squares my Midheaven with an orb of 2 degrees.I don't know what the aspect means, but off the top of my head it might indicate difficulties at home affecting my schoolwork. My natal Mars is in 4th house while natal Saturn is in my 3rd house. I may potentially have difficulties with my brother due to his aggressive behavior and inability to control his anger. I am glad you feel strong today. Yes, I agree with you, the magic is unbelievable. And yes higher octave of love, but I was also thinking maybe it was sort of a breaking down (Mars) of a barrier (Saturn) for me, too, especially as this conjunction also conjuncts my Mars and ASC. I`ve always kinda avoided being around REALLY little children, maybe because I never had any and fearing how I would cope emotionally? Not that I consciously ever wanted one, but it was never a conscious decision to NOT have a child. It just didn`t happen. Not that I was unhappy about that on a daily basis, but it is difficult knowing that that ship has sailed in a certain age, you know?
But nevertheless it`s jsut really unbelievably beautiful having a baby in the close family. And this little guy is just stealing everyone`s heart. BTW he is a Leo with a Leo Venus on 28 Leo conjunct Virgo Moon on 00 Virgo. And his Mars is JUST in Sagittarius, close to my own Mars. Oh and what I found particularly interesting is that his ASC falls right onto the middle of my 4 degree conjunction of MC and Pluto. AND he has Neptune conjunct SN, just like his Dad!

For now, the Mars/Saturn conjunction on my NN/Neptune conjunction feels very good indeed. Like a really suffocating fog has been lifted emotionally, spiritually, and to some degree psychologically (well, there's always room for improvement on that last one in particular ).This isn't the first round of Saturn in this position for me, but this time around it just feels so much lighter. For now, anyway. I'm hoping this will continue on for a good while. IP: Logged |

It's falling in my 10th house, on my Jup-Uranus conjunction. I've been subject to a lot of turmoil at work lately, due to a high publicity case I took earlier this week and got me in conflict with the head of my department and the manager of my hospital. I was very close to slam the door and hand them my resignation, because the manager wanted me off the case for discriminatory reasons: I'm young and a woman. I'm currently collecting evidence and might take it to the minister of health. Or the press. I considered both. For now things have cooled down and I got a lot of support from people I did not expect. I'm still on the case. But yeah, the conjunction hit me pretty hard, it was a rollercoaster ride: high one morning, extremely low a few hours later. I had to keep all my emotions in check and be diplomatic and calm when all I wanted was to beat someone up. I barely slept this week and I've been on edge since it started. I thought my career will end and I'll get involved in a huge scandal, uncovering the corruption and ill intention of high placed people. So far I'm still anonymous. But tomorrow is another day lol.You can see how the story is foretold by the symbols of the planets and the houses they rule: -Saturn rules my 1st and 12th -Mars rules my 3rd -Jupiter rules my 11th -Uranus rules my 1st by interception IP: Logged |

{Just slipping in here quietly, to skim and say Hello. } Anne Ortlee?.. I used to follow her work a long time ago, and her friend-crowd. Stopped when her father had to have his operation... What I remember is her broken-foot, bad employee relationships, & cat-vomit stories. She has a Sept 11 birthday, btw. Well, I'm glad she's doing well for herself. Thanks for the link. I'll explore later...Might try to get to the article later. Violets sounded like she had some smooth observations. (thumbsup). Anyways, I've been up all night--- head fog, no sleep... so it's like I'm punchdrunk. OMG, ~hey, I just realized, I can go and make some actual coffee right now!! Haven't had any yet, and it's the mid-morning here. That will feel better! haha Violets!! Blessings on you.... You'll be up at nights now too, with your Little Leo. {{Big Hug}} Ceridwen!! You're an Auntie!!! Hurray! WOW, How Cool. Congratulations. IP: Logged |

Mirage, thank you. BTW I internally responded most strongly to these points in Anne Ortelee`s article:
"Expect to be reminded, once more, about the lessons you learned while Saturn was in the swamp of Scorpio between 2012 and 2015. Think about all the patterns you became conscious of during that period!" and "The chart also has a Mystic Rectangle, asking us to dust off old dreams and reevaluate them. Which ones could be good-as-new with a little TLC? Which ones are worn beyond repair, and ready to be recycled? Last chance, or they’re all going in the bin! The critical moment has come at last. So toss your head back defiantly, like Scarlett O’Hara, and declare whatever you have to declare (even if it’s only – like Oscar Wilde – your genius). This is it. You’re down to the final decisions. Your new life is knocking at your door! Onward and upward, tiny step by tiny step!"

I really wish I had that problem, lol. As it stands, it's probably my Cap Mars squaring my Scorpio Uranus that causes me to either sit and boil silently, practically sputtering because I don't want to blow a gasket on anyone, or actually blowing a gasket and making people feel really badly, including myself. Stupid, sucky aspect. IP: Logged |

A quick note to Ceridwen & Luci,It's also conjunct my Neptune and to look at the bigger picture: Saturn crossed 9 degrees Sagittarius in December 2015 (it was exactly conjunct my own Neptune on 15/12/15) Mars stationed retrograde at almost 9 degrees on 17th April 2016. All month Saturn is and has been at 9 degrees Sagittarius. On 23rd & 24th August - Mars was conjunct Saturn at 9 degrees. Now, not to be ignored: there will be a solar eclipse at the 10 degrees Virgo on 2nd September 2016. This is quite a story for our Neptunes, mine rules the 5th House and sits in the 2nd House. I'm getting a theme - a few themes from this story. Anybody will a planet at 9 degrees Sagittarius is going to have a 'story'. I'll write my own article about this on the weekend. :-) IP: Logged |

I wrote this for my Facebook friends and copied to my blog: http://wp.me/p7mxt3-7z "The Mars-Saturn conjunction became exact today, conjunct the heart of the Scorpion at 9 degrees Sagittarius. A very, very intense time of consolidation of the Mars energy we've been processing since April. This marks the true end of the Mars retrograde period, and the beginning of the next chapter. It is time to forge new energetic pathways, and these pathways will have solid physical results, as we have Saturn's energy grounding Mars here. Saturn and Mars are actually a phenomenal team when working together, one providing drive and the other, structure. However, things can get out of hand when Mars says go and Saturn says stop, and explosive incidents can result. Because it is a waning moon, I figure it is that which we release which will be very firm today. If the Moon were crescendoing, the Mars Saturn conjunction might have been nearly unbearable, explosive, etcetera. Blessed universe knows just how to temper things... and with the Sun into Virgo we are all beginning very wise and discerning when it comes to holism, taking care of ourselves, minutae. The caution is to discern and do things when they truly feel right--not only because you think you "should." This Virgo energy, after all, is in sharp contrast with the "break out!!! Chart a new course!!!"-- energy of Mars in Sagittarius, but from what I've seen, folks have been handling this very gracefully, and I think our beautiful early autumn Virgo Sun has just the right medicine for us. That which we no longer want in our lives is less likely to return than usual, and the patterns we are beginning to carve will stand us in good stead for the long term. Take heart, for the sky is mellowing into a beautiful reality, full of energy and light and life ... just in time for the powerful eclipse season in September!! It never ends..." IP: Logged |

This conjunction was right.on D.'s Jupiter Uranus conjunction, at the midpoint of the teo.at 9 and 10 Sag, and it was square my nodes. It marked a really significant breakthrough for us... an actual one. Things have changed for the better. His urge to break out was acknowledged... it's hard to describe it all right now... But it has been.good. IP: Logged |

It`s a strong story for me, as there is so much concentrated on 7-11 mutable for me. including the exact point in Sagittarius, with my Neptune-NN.

Also as I said in current Lunar Return the Mars-Saturn falls onto the MC. Next months Lunar Return starting at 14th september will have ASC on 9 Virgo.
That ASC will square Moon/Jupiter 0°25 My Mars-Return which happened on 14th august, and will last until february 2018 - so quite some time, of course also had the Mars-Saturn-conjunction albeit more widely of course: at 4 degrees
Actually it is the Apex of A T-square of
Neptune 11 Pisces in 11th
opposite Venus 11 Virgo in 5th NN 12 Virgo in 5th square Saturn 9 Sag in 6th Mars 5 Sag in 6th (well I wished it had not been in 6th house honestly speaking) That opposition there also is forming a cradle of
Neptune 11 PIsces Venus 11 Virgo NN 12 Virgo Moon 9 Cap in 8th BML 9 Scorpio in 6th The symmetry axis of this runs straight through the heart of Scorpio, with Saturn on 9 Sagittarius (and through my nodal axis-Neptune natally of course).
Well I just found it interesting that it happens so closely to my Mars-Return.
