Venus is our love nature. It shows what we love:what we find beautiful. All people have a different aesthetic. Beauty is, truly, in the eye of the beholder. One can understand this, if one studies Venus. Venus is what we FIND beautiful. Mars is the AGGRESSION with which we go after it.Keep this in mind and you will be on your way to understanding that special person, and yourself. The planet Venus is a yin planet, as is the Moon. It receives the energy of other planets. Mars is a yang planet, as you might imagine. It acts on other planets.The glyph for Venus is the sign of the female.The glyph for Mars is the sign of the male. As such, the male pursues the female. The male has the drive. The female receives him, biologically speaking. Back to Venus. Venus is in it’s Domicile(Home) in Libra. Venus in Libra is the best of Venus.It is Venus dressed in a tasteful, black dress with pearls and pumps; going out for a day at the Art Museum. Picture wise, Venus in Libra is the painting of a nude, eating grapes, with a few too many fat rolls. This Venus loves to eat .It loves all creature comforts. Venus in Libra does not have to be fat. However, she will always be, in her deepest heart, the lady eating grapes fed to her by an admiring man. ------------------

Funny how that description of Venus(eating grapes)I have always associated with Taurus.Libra I associate with lady justice or the lady who was once known as the Greek goddess Themis/Roman goddess Justicia/Dike.
In Libra I observe the need to always be fair and firm. The latter often consciously developed over the life span. The ideals of justice and equanimity in making very difficult decisions is something that Libra aspires towards. In Taurus I observe the need to "have" or accumulate in order to sustain oneself and protect oneself from the unpredictable/ unexpected. Taurus is all about enjoying the fruits of ones labors and kicking back to relax. Drinking & eating forms a part of enjoyment (which mostly involves the 5 senses in essence) IP: Logged |

You have some great points,Aries! I feel that Taurus is not really the Domicile for Venus I think it is some other planet or body.
That is why I didn't include it here, but you are VERY right in your observations, my Friend!

I'm a Venus In Libra in the 5th and let me tell you, I am flawless  I'm super Libra. I believe Libra is the most beautiful sign and Taurus. Scorpio is destruction and extremes and libra is that perfect balance of harmony and happiness and fairness etc. I used to envy Scorpio. (The secret had been revealed!) for all the attention it got because let's face it I'm an attention whor* .
And libra deserves more. Libra is a great sign also and I don't think it gets appreciated like it should. IP: Logged |

Libra is brilliant. But every Libra Sun is a Scorpio by progression by the time they're 30...  so maybe that's why.Just kiiddiinnnggg.... I have Venus in Libra too, in the 12th so I underestimate myself and can overdo the graciousness and diplomacy and thinking of others, etc... but when I own it it works out really well. Bit complicated I guess, I just had my Venus return and it was soooo enjoyable...  IP: Logged |
