I think if you also have aspects from Pluto to personal planets. For example, my daughter has Pluto and her first house, sun square Pluto and Mercury sextile Pluto. I think it's safe to say she is pretty Plutonian IP: Logged |

So interesting.I've always seen myself as Plutonion just because of 8th house solar stellium. Also Pluto square Ac/DC (exact) and Moon, Scorpio MC. But maybe it's more like I'm MORE Plutonian than I would be without my stellium falling in the 8th. One of my exes was Plutonian by your definition, Dop--he had Scorpio rising, Sun conjunct Pluto, and also an 8th house lunar stellium with his Moon trine his Pluto. But he was just SO airy (11h Libra Sun, Gemini Moon) that he seemed less Plutonian than a lot of Plutonian people. And his AC made him seem so much more brooding and Scorpionic than he is. I guess I think anyone with Scorpio or 8h Sun or Moon and/or tight Sun-Pluto or Moon-Pluto aspects is Plutonian. IP: Logged |

I have Pluto in Scorpio in the 8th house trine my Pisces Moon (0 degree orb) and Cancer Mercury (2 degree orb) and I definitely feel the Pluto energy. I also have it squared Saturn (2 degree orb). I guess I can be considered Plutonian a bit. Can't imagine what it's like having a stellium in Scorpio or the 8th house. Must be intense. IP: Logged |

If Pluto is your dominant planet. You can go to Astro.com and look at the Pullen chart to tell you what your planets are in ranking (percentage wise). Pluto is my dominant planet because I have my sun, moon, and mercury in my 8th house all which trine pluto. and I have Pluto squaring my ascendant. IP: Logged |

Pluto can also mark the people while they are alife, like an transiting square to his acc, an opp to the sun.. It is not every one that lives this kind of aspectsIP: Logged |

I have pluto square sun, trine moon and a very very very loose square to mercury (9 degree orb, might as well not count but for some reason astro counts it), but I don't feel very plutonian.IP: Logged |

you look at : Pluto conjunct any of the 4 axis angles (ASC, DC, IC, MH) Pluto in angular house Pluto conjunct personal planet (Sun, moon, merc, Venus, Mars) I think otherwise it would have to be seen as a theme or pattern in the chart, like Scorpio ASC with emphasized 8H, Scorpio placements, but I'm not sure if it'll be as intense as an actual emphasis of Pluto Pluto just in aspect I think would need to be super close in orb to the personal planets/angles and seen as obviously significant. Hard aspects would be more obvious in expression. But that doesn't make it dominant, I think Pluto on an axis, and/or aligned with a personal planet is most significant, same pattern applies to Uranus and Neptune. I think Plutonian energy is potent, you know when you relate to it IP: Logged |

Yes, your emotions and aesthetics would be very Plutonian. Relationships will have Plutonian themes to them, intense desires and passions that border on fanaticism and from the emotional pain can learn to heal the self and gain a deeper understanding of the self too, thus being able to heal/transform others.

Don't forget to look at declinations. I have moon parallel Pluto just over 1 degree. Trines sun, Mercury and semi squares my moon and Mars. Squares Jupiter. IP: Logged |

@Dop, Why did you erase it? Valid point. 1st house is our 'identity' house.. Our reactions are filtered through that lens. And it does make it the chart ruler after all. That's a pretty potent plantery influence.@Faith, Wow.. I love, loved this post. *cheering* I'd like to reply to the OP, but I'm not sure I can verbalise what I'd like to say. However, I would like to add that Faith's point is sort of the crux of the matter. Plutonian energy is very *internal*. You'll rarely find a true Plutonian who advertises it (unless chart is majorly extroverted). It's just something inside, that we consciously keep away from prying eyes and outside of polite society. Because we know how primal & savage those instincts can get. It's a reckless rage and raw power that rarely shows itself in the light of day. Or in any ordinary circumstances. Natal chart contacts can go either way. They can be Pluto "giving power to you" or Pluto "combating with you", trying to take away and somehow change the planet's power that it contacts. So, they (especially hard aspects), can be felt as an internal power struggle. With Pluto pulling them into depths they're not willing to go, thus resulting in outrageous behaviour on the outside, to make up for feeling powerless on the inside. ..there's more but that's a different story. My point was, natal Pluto aspects do not necessarily impart "Plutonian-nes". They can, if the native is ready for it, can handle it. Otherwise, they just sit there, buzzing discontentedly. Like a Humvee's engine sittin' in a lawn mower. Pluto power is much like the "ring" of Sauron. Only those of (very) strong mind can wield it without going insane. Others, like Gollum, are consumed by it. Their mind completely taken over, battered beyond recognition. Pluto can really wreck you like that. Even the most evolved of Plutonians have their "gollum" moments - that, if they survive, they emerge stronger. Worthy of "wielding" that power. IP: Logged |

Faith- maybe it's an 8th house Pisces moon thing, but I totally relate to you. I'm super easy going and I rarely ever get mad. It's a big rarity. But on the rare chance I do, people are like woah... I remember back in college there was a girl at a party who started being unnecessarily mean to my friend, saying really mean things to her for no reason, until my friend was scared and crying in a corner. I went off on her and she left the party. I followed her out and told her to never come back as she was leaving and got in a car and left. A few friends of mine were standing there bewildered. They were like, "wow I've never seen that side of you, don't ever get mad at me." They were shocked I had it in me to ever tell anyone off. Everyone sees me as happy go lucky, mild-tempered, and probably a bit of a pushover because I'm so easy going. But if I get pushed to the edge that Scorpio side comes out and it's fierce. Rawr. I consider myself to be quite Plutonian. I've got a Scorpio Ascendant and Mars, both conjunct exact. My Mars is also Parallel Pluto, along with Sun and Uranus sextile Pluto, 8th house Moon opposite Pluto exact, and Pluto trine my MC. I always contemplate life in itself and everything that goes on in it, what people are thinkimg, their motives, what's happening around me, the time that passes with every second of life itself, everything. I am friends with a lot of Scorpios and love to get into the deep stuff, but many people otherwise look at me in shock when I start getting deep and don't want to talk about these things. My dad is a perfect example, he has NN in Scorpio and that's it. No 8th house planets and only Mars trine Pluto widely. He always seems to chastise me when I start contemplating life in itself and everything about it. I just ignore it, because that's just me and I know that for a fact. During these tough transits this year and such, I had an existential crisis. I'm over it now, but man I didn't know what was going on. I still don't know what my purpose is, but I can accept now that I'll find out soon enough, whereas before I was having a mental breakdown. Nobody even knows, isn't that Plutonian as well? ------------------ Scorpio Ascendant Aquarius Sun in 4th Gemini Moon in 8th Check out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.com IP: Logged |

Thank you. I'm going to erase it later because it's jumbled. I don't know what technically makes someone Plutonian, but I feel I am because I have Sun square Pluto, Moon opposite Pluto, Mercury sextile Pluto, Venus trine Pluto, Mars conjunct Pluto, and Pluto conjunct IC.IP: Logged |
