I looked at my chart and says that transiting Saturn is conjunct my natal Saturn. But the orb is 9°57 a. Would that degree be too wide to be felt? Since it's Saturn I was thinking that even with the wide degree I would still feel it. I've read that this is the Saturn return? If my Saturn makes any aspects to other peoples planets in synastry and composite. Could this cause issues with the relationships I have with those people? Or would this only affect me?IP: Logged |

Saturn return is sort of like a "life review" so far. When one takes stock of their life and whether or not to continue on the same path.It is more a subjective experience(affecting just you). And naturally then, it indirectly affects others. The house where Saturn is at and the house where Cap cusp is in, is where you are likely to feel affected by thos return. IP: Logged |

How do I find out which house the Cap cusp is in? I have Neptune in Cap in my 7th house. quote: Originally posted by Aries23Degrees: Saturn return is sort of like a "life review" so far. If Neptune is in the 7th house and in Cap. I am assuming that the 7th house cusp starts in the sign of Cap.If that is the case, the 7th house of relationships is about to get a thorough lesson on realism from this Saturn return as well as ofcourse the area of life where Saturn is placed(I assume the 6th).

No, you don't - I'm suspecting it's in the 6th On astro.com there are a number of free astrology reports, including some forecasts. You could also google "saturn return" to learn more about your transit, as it is a very important one. IP: Logged |

I think as long as transiting Saturn is conjunct natal Saturn by 8 degrees or less, you're in your Saturn Return. Also, I think it is felt as long as transiting Saturn is in natal Saturn's house. With Saturn in the 4th, you will be feeling it as long as its in your 4th House. But it is going to get closer and closer in the next few months, making it manifest more and more strongly until the exact conjunction. ------------------ Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

I checked my natal chart with transits. It showed that I would be having transiting Saturn conjunct my natal Saturn for awhile at least a year. quote: Originally posted by the89freespirit: I think as long as transiting Saturn is conjunct natal Saturn by 8 degrees or less, you're in your Saturn Return. What about my 4th house? I see Saturn and Uranus in my 4th house. Although both are close to the 5th house. And it looks like Capricorn is in my 5th house I'm confused. quote: Originally posted by Aries23Degrees: 6th house cusp in Cap 5th house cusp in SagYour Saturn return is likely to be affecting these two areas of life.

And also 7th house cusp in Aquarius if we are to use traditional rulership where Saturn once ruled both signs. IP: Logged |

It will affect your fourth house because that's where your natal Saturn sits. IP: Logged |

Saturn, like any planet, affects the house it's in as well as the house or houses that it rules. A planet will be considered to rule a house if the sign it is in charge of sits on the cusp of that house. So for instance in your case Saturn sits in the 4th house, but if we are to take traditional rulership and say that Saturn rules both Capricorn and Aquarius, then Saturn will also rule the cusps of the houses that cap and aqua sit on. In this case, Capricorn sits on your 6th cusp and Aquarius on your 7th cusp, so not only will Saturn affect your fourth house, but it will also affect matters in your 6th and 7th houses because it rules them too. As for Saturn affecting your 5th house, I'm not 100% sure tbh but seeing as Saturn's in Sagittarius and sag is on your 5th cusp then possibly yes. A lot of people think that Saturn only affects the house it's in during Saturn return but it affects more than just one house. IP: Logged |

So how do I figure out in what way those houses will be affected? Would I read the information about Saturn being in the 6th, 7th and 5th house? quote: Originally posted by bonsai: Saturn, like any planet, affects the house it's in as well as the house or houses that it rules. Oh sorry, i meant to say the 4th instead of the 5th. 1st you must look at where Saturn is placed. That is the house that will be affected. Then look at where Cap is and we find that its in the 6th. So that area will feel the pinch. The reason that others highlighted Aquarius cusp(7th), is because Saturn is also the traditional ruler of Aquarius. So you can monitor that area too. Saturn in 4th could highlight added domestic responsibilities or feeling unsupported. It could mean hardship or lack of emotional rapport with family that can be further echoed by the Saturn return. When affecting the 6th, added responsibilities at work or some health issue. When affecting the 7th, a relationship break up or a commitment made. It could also mean increase loneliness. All round however, Saturn in these houses could surface a feeling of impenetratable isolation or lack of care from others. IP: Logged |

Being as though Saturn is in the 4th house could I also have the desire to want to move away? I still live at home with my parents. And them being overprotective and not letting me go places on my own. Is starting to make me feel like i really want to move away. (I actually made a thread about this). As far as work is concerned I've been more serious about it. Working a lot more etc I'm also more serious about exercising I started going to the gym. I'm not in a relationship so I'm not sure what will happen there. quote: Originally posted by Aries23Degrees: Oh sorry, i meant to say the 4th instead of the 5th.1st you must look at where Saturn is placed.
