I've seen it work well beyond statistical coincidence, so yes, I'm a stern believer. I guard my thoughts well. Heavy :Capricorn: influence.

I forgot to add why I believe in LOA, astrologically.

I have three Sagittarius placements in my chart.

Perhaps even Jupiter in Gemini, positive (Jupiter) thoughts (Gemini)?

I have mixed feelings and thoughts about this. With my 8h stellium and 2h Pisces Jupiter as the "spout" of my pitcher chart, I am excellent at manifesting things, and positive/constructive thinking/affirmations do help me work with my power.

BUT I also agree with a lot of Lerena's points.

I remember watching a documentary years ago about a beautiful young woman who got cancer...she had a great, positive attitude about everything, but she had been exposed to virulent pesticides as a little kid. No amount of healthy eating and exercising and faith and positive thinking was going to keep her from dying young of this disease. Lines of thinking like the Louise Hay "You Can Heal Your Life" equate physical illness with emotional mismanagement too much for me---YES, working constructively with your emotions and beliefs is wonderful for your physical health, and YES, mind and body aren't truly separate, and YES, "me" and "you" aren't truly separate.

But human life is complicated , and horrible things happen all the time to all kinds of people. Just as exercising your body every day has enormous health benefits but will not keep you or your loved ones from, dying, practices of constructive thinking/affirmations/prayer/working with magnetism have enormous health benefits but cannot keep you from dying, cannot keep the little child down the street from you from getting violently raped at five years old (and that's not an extreme example---statistically, every time you've read one of my sentences a child under six has been raped)---I used to think those practices could keep you from attracting abusive or exploitative people into your life, but now I'm not sure about that.

Humans have areas of power, and some have possibilities for gaining power and/or going with the flow of the universe that they're not using. But at every second in this world, gazillions of people truly are victims. The idea that being a victim is a choice really sits wrong with me. It's a mixed bag. There's a large element of attracting more of what we're putting out there and what we see in the world, but there are other laws, mysteries and dynamics at work too. I don't have the answers about how everything works, but I haven't read a theory yet that really resonates with me.

I believe in it. 100%

One belief can influence everything. I've seen it happen many times.

Me!
I think Sagittarius and Pisces are like this. They like to daydream about beautiful things (especially Pisces) and they are very positives about it (especially Sagittarius).

Pisces sextile Neptune, square Jupiter in Sagittarius. Dominant planet: Venus. Dominant sign: Aquarius.

Everything that happened in my life was in my mind long before it happens.

I have yet to meet a Sag that believes in this (though I'm sure they exist). My Sag dad, at least when he was younger, would probably be cruel to someone who professed such beliefs as he'd think it was hilarious to mess with them.

I'm a Sag stellium (moon-Mars-Uranus-Neptune, plus asteroids) and while I think consciousness (and, more importantly, the subconscious) affects (but does not dominate) reality, I don't buy that a positive attitude will magically make everything wonderful (though attitude can make a big difference on how life events are perceived, and how one responds to them).

That doesn't mean we're all bitter and fearful (though there was one hilarious moment where my Sag Dad became convinced I was plotting his death ). And I LOVED that line in the Princess Bride where What's-her-name says they'll never survive, and Wesley says in a chipper tone, "Nonsense! You're only saying that because no one ever has." (If anyone would say that, it's a Sag, though I could see my Aries cousin saying that, but then he has a Sag ASC and some outer planets in Sag, and he also has a Pisces moon.)

There was one Sag sun I used to be close to who had the most pessimistic views, and yet he found a way to laugh about it. We were both making each other laugh with our gallows humor. He seemed to share the attitude I have of, "Despite this (setback/misfortune), I remain optimistic." (Look around warily, then at each other and laugh.)

ummm I think there is somethibg to it,my progressed chart is currently moon in Aquarius and willchange come December into pisces. I read that progressed charts are where you are internally. My progressed chart looks like sun and venus in leo, moon in aqua, I want to say ascendant is or on the verge of scorpio and mars in cancer. The early part of the year I was attracted to a man that I would have never dated like ever due to where we met but his placements are leo sun , libra moon, venus in cancer, jupiter in scorio and mars in aqua. Saturn currently is in my 3rd house of communication and moon is in my 5th. I think we are two different people and have had a lot of miscommunication or misunderstandings. Idk, moon in aqua definatly stepped outside my comfort zone and well it could have been worse, atleast we ended it nicely without being insulting which has taken place on a few occasions. I'm wishing him the best of luck in whatever he descideds to do with his life!

I believe in it and I practice it. I have been for more than 10 years.

I used to be suspicious but after reading a verse in our holy book which says that God has created all the universe for humans, to manifest their desires (in positive, just and constructive ways of course) then I saw no reason why not.

I have Leo rising with Jupiter conjunct the ascendant. sun in the 10th. I also have a grand water trine between scorpio pluto, pisces moon and cancer mars. I also have mars conjunct chiron and south node. moon quintile neptune too.

I think the reason I crossed path with this theory all those years ago was because I was having a tough time at high school (the time when a person's MC starts to show) making decisions about my future, as I have both natal saturn and jupiter squaring my MC.
