So I think it will be fun to post charts of people who have passed away that made it to their 90s or 100s.Or let us know the placements in their chart that stick out if you don't feel like posting chart. IP: Logged |

Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo, trine Saturn in 6th house. I hope my cat (also a Leo) lives a long time. IP: Logged |

8H of longevity is in Taurus, with its ruler, Cancer moon, in the 9H. It's a benefic placement, imo. Co-ruler Virgo Venus in the 11th is also well-aspected. Not to mention, it is also the chart ruler. This cat has lived all of its nine lives well. IP: Logged |

All I can add to this thread right now is that when I saw the title, I thought you meant "cat" in the '70s sense of calling a guy a cat. As in: "Man, dig that cat's crazy bell bottoms!" And then I wondered why 38 years old was considered old. Mercury in Aquarius strikes again. That is all. IP: Logged |

Well, that is, if her birth time is accurate. IP: Logged |

A 38 year old cat is honestly impressive. Unfortunately, my first cat lived for 9 years. We had to put her down because she got breast cancer so bad to where she couldn't breath properly. I do know that my great grandma lived until she was 90. Unfortunately though I do not know her birth data. ------------------ Scorpio Ascendant Aquarius Sun in 4th Gemini Moon in 8th Check out my blog ya'll: www.electrodgxtalks.wordpress.com IP: Logged |

We also ought to look at her owner's chart. He's the one responsible for her care. http://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/how-to-raise-a-165-year-old-cat He's also really old. IP: Logged |

Wow thanks for bringing this to our attention: "Perry’s cats broke the Guinness World Record for oldest cat. Twice, actually: The first record, from 1998, was for a part Sphynx, part Devon Rex named Granpa Rexs Allen who made it to age 34; the second, from 2005, is for a mixed tabby named Creme Puff who lived to age 38." I will post his chart too, great IP: Logged |

Yeah I know! The article is fascinating, when you read the things he does for them to keep them engaged and in love with life including the amazing breakfast he gives them daily it's quite the eye opener. I imagine if I completely dedicated my life to my dogs they will live a lot longer, something to think about. IP: Logged |

Yes but I liked the feedback you gave knowing her birth time is probably not accurate, they were good observations. IP: Logged |

It kind of reminds me of Harry Potter, where Scabbers the rat went on to live for 12 years (but that was because he was an Animagus of Peter Pettigrew, of course). Funny how Ron never really questioned why his rat lived to be that old But anyway, the owner really is passionate about his cats. I think that most of the time, if you're passionate about something, your work will endure the test of time (ex: classical music/literature).

Ah I see, I misunderstood and took the title to mean in the present tense, not 11 years back IP: Logged |

Beautifully put, it goes with the whole Saturn rewards dedication and hard work. I can't find the owner's birth data sadly. IP: Logged |

It's probably mentioned in a documentary somewhere. I'll dig into it later.Meanwhile, we could take a look at the chart of other grannies and gramps, both human and feline alike IP: Logged |
