Well, I've mostly been interested in foreigners, but I am a foreigner myself in the country I live in now. I'm actually Filipino but I live in Canada. I haven't found myself very much attracted to guys from the same background as me. I find many of them are too traditional and conservative. I'm not very much into traditional men, especially since I'm not very fond of my own culture. I've always felt like an alien back home. I attribute that to my Jupiter in Aquarius, though. Most of the guys I have been attracted to are either Canadian-born or immigrants from a variety of backgrounds. Right now, I may be contradicting myself, but there's always a first for everything. My very first boyfriend is Filipino, too, but he's different like me. We both agree on many things, we like to explore our culture every once in a while, and we have a more progressive mindset than most. We just met here in Canada two years ago. I feel like Sag on the 9th house either indicates a foreign partner or a tendency to meet your partner abroad. Either way, it still has something to do with foreign lands. I definitely learned some German back in university and I've always been so curious about different cultures. One of my life plans is to travel before settling down lol. I don't wanna get married so soon unlike many of my female friends. I think this placement makes for major commitment issues too If you're hoping for a foreigner, definitely look at where Jupiter is in your chart. I have my Aquarius Jupiter in the 9th house. ------------------ Gemini Rising Sun in Leo (2nd house) Moon in Cancer (1st house) Mercury in Virgo (3rd house conj.) This is interesting to me cause my first language is Spanish and since I was a kid I was interested in English, then Korean, I like foreigners a lot, always find myself looking for someone from another country, my Sun and Mars are in the 9th house, though my 7th house ruler is the 8th house so I want to know if I'll marry a foreigner lol. Cute, if you are a girl with Sun and Mars in the 9H I say you have a very good chance you will marry a foreigner . Why not? IP: Logged |

I have Venus and Mars conjunct in the 9th house and I have Jupiter conjunct my Descendant in the 7th house. I guess I'm the ideal person to respond to your question :-pI date whoever I find intelligent, kind and respectful to everyone of all backgrounds, and interested in learning about other cultures. I've dated guys from my own race as well as other various racial ethnicities who's first language was another other than English. I don't care if you're black, white, brown, green, or purple, as long as we treat each other with respect and enjoy each other's company. I like to think that growing up as a military brat and now living for almost 10 years in one of the most diverse cities in my country has exposed me to the acceptance of other cultures and backgrounds. I would not be happy living in the same small town my entire life with a homogenous population, marrying a regular Joe who is ignorant of life and culture outside their own town. IP: Logged |

Venus in 9th... No I don't date nor particularly wish to date someone from a foreign land. I am somewhat indifferent to foreign languages, though I once had a half decent French accent when I was learning it.Venus Rx doesn't love backwards. It's just likely that it's more turned inward, internalized. Perhaps the outer world doesn't see how it affects the Rx person. IP: Logged |

Sag in 7th house here. Ooh yes I love different languages! Even the made up ones, lol. In fact after I graduate and have time I plan on teaching myself to be fluent on a lot of them. My parents came from a different country to the us so maybe I can say I've dated foreign because I've dated someone different from my race. And he's a sag. My current love interest is also a different race than me and he has no sag placement except in Saturn. Plus there's not a lot of guys of the same race as me living where I'm at to be a potential date. And although I have met a lot when traveling I had no interest in dating them at all. Personally I don't like long distance relationships. I like being close to cuddle with them. Unless you count my love interest living 45 minutes away from me long distance I think he's long distance material. And on the plus side I usually go to his city almost every weekend for errands considering that my hometown has nothing much going on IP: Logged |

Yup. I explained to her why she should support Trump as a hatian with supporting documents and so on, but because she has venus retrograde, she only cares about how she looks to her friends. So she trashed Trump along with her friends lol

Is getting a higher degree super important to you or are you obsessed with learning and accumulating knowledge or do you travel a lot ect? If that doesn't resonate then you have to start wondering if your chart needs to be rectified. Wait what does Venus rule in your chart?? Is Venus afflicted? I would think if Venus rules your 5H or 7H and is in sag or in the 9H you would definitely be attracted to foreigners..! IP: Logged |

Speaking of Trump. Uranus rules his 7H and Jupiter in Libra rules his 5H which trines exact Uranus. I think both Jupiter and Uranus in the context of 5H and 7H can indicate marrying a foreigner or attraction to foreigners and he is married to a foreigner. IP: Logged |

My goal has always been to find a lover in a foreign country - like in Italy or Spain. That has yet to happen. My last BF was half Mexican and Native american, but very americanized. He didn't even speak Spanish, but I do. Dios Mio. And I've traveled at a young age and always preferred the dark and handsome types. I find it strange that Gemini placements have not been noted yet.
Gemini and Sag are similar in their love of different or "foreign" tastes sorta speak. But for what its worth I'm a Sag ASC with Gemini Venus in the 7th H respectively. Also Venus is opposite Uranus which probably adds to the need for something different in a partner. I'm supposed to go on a date with a attractive Indian man at some point *swoon IP: Logged |

Great points, gemini, sag and aquarius are all more likely to be drawn to that which is different from them. IP: Logged |

@polkadotstars I your reply and agree to a lot of it I have house 9 stelluim, and Jupiter on 7th cusp. So, some things in common there. Traveling definitely brings about love in a lot of ways. But then aren't we all on a natural high when we travel ?

I have my 9th in aries and it ruler Mars is in 4th in sag. conjunct my Jupiter (5th ruler). My 7th ruler is uranus. I had some boyfriends who had an other culture when I travelled.I really like travels.I thought I get married one day with a foreign man but it's not.
