After a very emotionally charged first half of the month today feels so calm and the intense emotions, nerves and anxiety are gone. I definitely feel the grounding effect of the aftermath of the full moon in Taurus from yesterday. I actually feel calm and rested which hasn't been the case for the past week or so.

Anybody else feeling this?

Not calm here. It was the worst day I've had all month - in over a month now, actually. I had been fine in the morning. The afternoon and evening tanked, and I'm still feeling it.

Moon was in my 7th house.

Yes!! I've never felt so composed on a full moon as I did last night.

Same, it was a terrible day, filled with anxiety and unexplainable unease for me.

Natal Moon in Libra, if the full Moon was in Taurus then, it was transiting my 9th House.

Yesterday, when the full Moon happened here I felt extremely emotional, more on the explosive side, but that is me usually when the Moon is full. Which is lovely, because after that there is release and cleansing and healing.

I've been tapping into this energy of needing to focus on what makes me happy and what can I do to create a pleasant life for myself (Taurus effect). Which is in contrast with what I am doing right now, work-wise. So I felt this contrast yesterday stronger than ever.

But also with this full Moon I feel I managed to let go some of my stale old beliefs finally

Lovely I like how you put it that the day after full moons it feels like it has a cleansing and healing effect. I will pay more attention now to the day after every full moon and check how I feel. Good observation.

I felt that calmness and peace this morning, it was clear this morning. I think last night maybe it was kicking in but I felt the calmness with clarity today.

I love that you have been tapping into the energy of focusing on what makes you happy, I think I agree that this is part of what the energy is about today.

My sister who is on a different political side than mine wrote to me today and I was basically like "I am not going to get you to understand so I don't want to invest more energy on this." It goes along with what you are saying like I just did not want to keep dumping energy into something that does not make me happy and steals my peace away and that is not in essence worth my time to continue to try to make her understand something she can't understand.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm usually okay with Taurus Moons, and when the Moon moves into my own sign. Instead, I felt worse.

I've been sleeping well, when I sleep, but last night I took something to help me. I feel warm and relaxed until my mind registers that I'm awake, and then everything else sets in. I feel better after a shower, and when I make some tea, but anyone being rude to me sets me off again. I've been ignored by someone I stood up for for years, all because I disagreed with them. Not unexpected, but I'm tired of pretending. And someone dismissed my feelings yesterday. I haven't checked my transits. I guess that's probably expected with the full moon in the 7th, though.

That is wonderful, I think is wise of you if you want your depression to get better to be very picky about what you chose to dump your energy on and how you chose to view the world.

I understand my sister very well but she looks at things one dimensionally and purely through emotional lenses

I meant, what I'm taking in when it comes to what others are dumping out. People being dismissive of what I'm feeling, and what others are feeling.

This is exactly what I meant: trying to explain something that some people refuse to see or acknowledge. I'm not "dumping" anything into the world, I'm trying to avoid being dumped on.

Unless I was mistaken in what I read from you. I appreciate you trying to be kind, even if it doesn't always feel that way.

I lost my mother. My depression won't ever completely go away.

I did not even know there was a special full moon happening. But again, oddly and not oddly enough the last two weeks have had a weird feel to it, and now nearing the end things have changed. Tonight i feel very settled.

I feel you teasel. This has also been a horrible full moon for me, which I find completely bizarre because of my mega earth-laden chart. Just like you, I enjoy Taurus full moons and actually had a wonderful Scorpio new moon the other week, but it seems like my world has suddenly burst into flames over night.

Astrology is weird. I'm sorry you're feeling down and out. Hopefully it'll pass soon, for the both of us.

You say your FM occurred in your 7th - funny because mine occurred in my 8th. Maybe it's something about those upper right cornered houses?

^^ this is very true. when moon is transmitting your natal moon people are generally more emotional.

very sorry to hear about your loss teasel. I cant imagine what you must be going through but something i like to remember when anything is ending is everything is one. Your mother is still around somewhere, and most importantly as a part of you.

When you lose someone that is called grief not depression and most people when they lose someone they grief but do not go on to develop depression and live a happy life. Death is part of life and the cycle of life and we all lose our parents some sooner than we hope which can be hard but its cycle of life and it helps to see that way as something natural.

Everyone's grieving process varies and some people take longer to grief than others. Telling yourself that you will always be depressed because your mother died is not healthy. Yeah you will celebrate her memory and miss her and at times really long to see her but that does not mean you cannot be happy.

For how long have you been grieving the loss of your mom?
