Beyonce once said this i.e that a guy would pursue her relentlessly and profess their love. But when she returns in kind, the guy ceases to hold interest in her etc. And she has Venus/Pluto conjunct.

With her, I do realize that she may enjoy the drama that Jay-Z provides with his philandering ways. Almost like it gets her deeply in touch(Pluto) with the core definition of what love means(Venus) to her etc.

In short, I have met few Venus/Pluto aspect people who don't like major storms in love relationship. Sometimes even outright painful ones.

Even I with Venus/Pluto in the same sign conjunct enjoy stories of love that overcomes insurmountable odds. Or where the beauty(Venus)chooses the beast(Pluto)etc.

I have a Venus-Pluto square, which is also part of a very intense t-square.

My Aquarius Venus conjuncts my Ascendant by less than a degree.
And it squares my Scorpio Pluto - Taurus Moon opposition.
So Pluto drags my Venus, Moon and ASC-DSC axis in this dance.

I agree with Aries23 that Venus-Pluto needs the pain and drama, and the insurmountable odds in love. Pluto can never be happy with a relationship that is quiet, harmonious and easy all the time. This will start feeling suspicious and "fake", non-real. For deep healing and transformation to occur, a relationship will have to push some buttons, by showing us where our wounds are, and only then how to heal them. This is real intimacy, as symbolised by the 8th House which is linked with Scorpio and Pluto.

It could be, considering that Saturn is on my DSC and makes a lot of aspects in my chart. However, my Venus is sextile Saturn, so Saturn should be helping me.

I try not to be frustrated with Saturn but often it is just unavoidable.

I closely know a couple of people with capricorn venus sextile scorpio pluto, and they're heavily plutonic.

it doesn't have to be only hard aspects; trines and sextiles are also easily felt and influence the person just as much, only that the situations play themselves in different ways than hard aspects.

if you have a venus/pluto, then maybe another venus/pluto can understand you better.

It's a little strange to hear all this ...
Really I ask me what others think they see and feel when they look and fall hard for our venus/pluto

My venus square pluton is large but I think the effects play : the best intense and interesting relationships are straw fires and make hurt (they "chase" me) and serious ones end up annoying / routine (I "chose" them), so never very transcendent ...
Yet I'm fine with my pluton aspects : Trine sun, sextile mars and jupiter.
So, I just think that some others aspects can reinforce the "complicated" situations : maybe as Venus Sag. 5th : Boredom is dificult to bear if it settles and as an aqua sun: independence (even together) is sacred.
Also, maybe it could become complex especially if in addition saturn is also important in the chart...

Feel secure, found serious, intense, interesting,fun (not boring) and kept independence in relationship... is probably a gamble !!!
