It's really interesting that you say that because my youngest has saturn conjunct NN and I am, admittedly, on the over protective side with certain things. I would love to hear more about this. I definitely don't want to hinder her but I also have my reasons for keeping a closer eye on her compared to her older siblings (adults now).

actually it was the moon-pluto not saturn-NN for that indicator.

edit: not sure actually. moon is mother though.

@Soren I can definitely see where moon hitting pluto would make a relationship intense, especially parent / child so I'm not discounting what you're saying. In my personal situation, I struggle with being a bit protective of my daughter and just checked her chart - sure enough she has NN conjunct saturn so I think there might be something to what Ami said.

I also checked her chart and the moon / pluto don't make contact.

With that being said - was your mom over protective? And if so how did you handle it / do you have a good relationship now?

i think a mom would be over protective if the child had a chart that showed the child was not very cautious maybe. getting into things without concern.

i was not really like that, so i dont think she was.

Well, I don't think Saturn conj the NN would necessarily be your mother/child relationship cuz you would really need the moon for that, Ann, but I wonder if she feels super responsible, just from having this aspect, not that YOU are really part of it. Know what I mean, Ann?

She is extremely responsible (Saturn in 1st). I thought it was interesting that you asked Soren if their mother was smothering in regards to that aspect.

I'm not a smothering but I'm definitely protective. Was just curious if you had studied people with that aspect and saw repeat issues. As a mom I want to make sure my kiddos flourish. Don't want to hurt her more than I help her.

The smothering mother thing was Moon/Pluto, Ann. if we had to link a parent to saturn, it would be the father, but I find the Sun is more accurate for the father.

I would be dumb if I listened to the 2% or the 5% when the 95% tell me one thing.

That is just being smart and logical, Ceri

I think God made me very logical, so I could do Astrology like this.

I have a super logical chart lol

Do you realise that you are writing off people who disagree with you as being psychologically inadequate, such as 'in denial'. That is hugely illogical. It appears to be a self-protective mechanism on your part, one that relieves you of the responsibility to question your own thinking.

Definitely more than 5% of astrologers on LL have contradicted you.

balancing emotions -and the deep inner self- with order- saturn and moon

"inner thoughts/feelings: i have to present my self in a nice formal way, my feelings really pay attention to how orderly everything is, therefore i will be because that is what i see"

I like how you put it. I think I have been too bookish about placement and have done little to let placement talk to me...may I ask which aspects to mercury you have?

I also suspected a strong Neptune for the way she express herself. It is just beautiful the sextile Neptune-moon Neptune-venus and the moon-venus trine. and with venus in piscis... I have noticed that scorpio is better than cancer to ground Neptune and piscis. maybe because cancer is carinal and scorpio is fixed. I thought originally that mercury made an aspect to Neptune, but it opposes Jupiter which is coruler of piscis..

Ahaaahhh! I had them both right, then! I always thought Soren was a guy, and NS a female.

I'm not usually good at guessing people's genders here, lol. Woohoo...
