Would having an 8th house stellium be one of them?

oop. he said wrong post but whatever it was aqua for detachment and interest and virgo cause they focus on details (how the deceased should be prepared, financial costs, picking a coffin)

and i said probably because if a person had water they would probably cry for every funeral.

The only water planet I have is Venus in Pisces. And my moon is in Aquarius.

How about house placements? 1 planet is not much water.

hm so 5 planets total. That's quite a bit especially with heavier bodies such as saturn, jupiter, and venus. (top 3 most powerful planets)

still your sun and moon are the biggest, which are mostly earth (+fire for sun house, which is a LOT). I would think funeral related things would largely fall under earth, as it has to do with a body, needing a coffin, thinking about monetary costs (material-related).

i know but i believe house placements are the same as the zodiac signs. second house is the same as taurus. But they wont be there in the progressed chart, but natally they are. Meanwhile your other planets such as in taurus would stay in taurus

Ok so do you think I'd be good as a Mortician? I know I have Venus in Pisces. I am emotional sometimes. But there are times when it's hard for me to show emotion.

Well Maybe after seeing 20+ dead people in their caskets you would get tired of it and not want to do it and feeling a bit mournful.

I would think strong saturn would be needed (just an idea) for dedication to responsibility and tasks.

Edit: After looking at your chart, I would say venus is your center. Your base-most.

I'm not sure why I'm thinking about this profession then. I thought maybe it was the 8th house stellium.

Just that you apply venus to all that you are. Besides that I don't know.

For example jupiter is my outlet, and philosophy and idealism are always apparent, my expression is similar to a jupiter-conjunct moon/sun person. So i have enthusiasm, optimism somewhat. It is similar in your case but instead of the outlet it is the base. The center. It is your home

I see so maybe this wouldn't be a good profession for me. I thought maybe it would be since I like subjects that are related to death and crime.

I very briefly dated one, who also happens to be a very talented artist. All I recall is that he's a Scorpio Sun. I believe he was an "undertaker", though. That's what everyone called him, as a sort of bad joke. He wasn't flippant about what he did, though.

Hey COV,

Unastrologically speaking, I feel like you can be good at any career you set your mind to regardless of your placements. Go for careers that you know you will excel in, don't go for what your natal chart has in stone.

I am responding to you because I am facing this same problem as you right now. I am a college student studying Information Technology because I used to always be interested in it. Computers are Aquarius/Uranus ruled and I only have 1 planet in Aquarius which is in fact Uranus.

However, I have a Libra Stellium in the 9H, so you'd think I would be interested in law or being a lawyer. Nope, law is completely boring to me and sitting through a case in court would be torture for me. Or maybe I'd want to do something with design? I have at once considered Web Design because I have experience, but I do not feel as if that job would fulfill me emotionally and financially.

I must say that I can definitely relate to my Scorpio MC, I do like jobs that require investigation and etc. so I have decided that I want to pursue a career in Computer Forensics, not because astrology is saying i should but because I am genuinely interested in that stuff.

I understand so you're saying that Venus is my outlet? What does that mean for me?

I understand I like Criminal Justice too but feel it might bore me after awhile. I know that I shouldn't make my decision based on what my chart says. It's just hard to figure out what it is which is why I asked this question.

I agree with Libracorn. If you are willing to work hard and have an interest in death, then you would be a great mortician! Charts simply show your potential or what qualities you would bring to your chosen profession. For example, a doctor that is strongly Venusian will practice differently than a doctor who is strongly Saturnian.

Why not try shadowing a mortician for at least a week (ideally 1 month) and see if your interest remains strong? You can read about a profession or dream about it all you like, but you won't have any clue what it entails until you speak and interact with people who are morticians. Ask them what they like about their job and what they don't like. Ask them if they would pick this career again if they could start over. Ask them what qualities should a good mortician possess.
