Transiting planets will form a Grand Cross with each other: Aries Uranus - Cancer Moon - Libra Jupiter - Capricorn Sun/Pluto all around 20°.

Natally the Grand Cross will hit my chart ruler Libra Mercury (22°) and the conjunct planets that square it - Capricorn Neptune (20°) and Uranus (22°). I also have Scorpio Jupiter (22°) and Virgo Chiron (22°) which will play a role albeit with softer aspects.

Lately tUranus in Aries has really been messing with me – aggravating my Mercury (6H)-Neptune/Uranus (9H) squares from the 12H. I had terrible anxiety in October/November and December was filled with all kinds of depressive and nasty thoughts. During the New Moon with Pluto involved I was on the cusp of giving up on life. I had forgotten all about astrology at that time and just sank into a self-absorbed emotional crisis. After it passed I realized how heavy that transit was and me being ignorant of it was probably why I took it so hard.

This time I’ll try to be more aware of what’s happening and not allow myself to sink into destructive negative thoughts.

Tell me bout it! Uranus can wreak some serious havoc too.
You were close to giving up? I hope you never get that low again. You're a wonderful person, please come on here and talk to us if you feel like that ever.
Sometimes these things hit us unexpectedly hard.

But yeah, now that you know, and are out of it - you can consciously *watch* your feelings. Take care.

The Moon will square my Mercury, Jupiter will oppose my Mercury, Saturn will make a trine to my Mercury, and Uranus might be in orb for a conjunction with my Mercury. While we're at it, the current Sun is making a square to my Mercury too.

Then there's transit Mercury, which will square my Mars.

I'm not sure how the Full Moon will affect me yet, but I should probably avoid arguments right now. Mercury as the planet of communication is being touched by a million planets so I shouldn't make things more complicated than they already are.

Edit: And with Pluto opposing the Full Moon, I'll probably feel the effects of that. The Full Moon trines my natal Pluto, and by progression, I have Pluto opposing my Moon right now.

The moon will be conjunct my own Moon, Mars, Chiron and South Node in the 9th House and transiting Sun/Pluto is conjunct my Uranus/Neptune/NN. Jupiter conjunct my ASC. interesting.

I just realized that this will be right on my moon. My Cancer moon is at 23 degrees.

I always hope for something to happen, but I never really notice anything.

Oh my God this is my favorite lecture. I usually can't endure her production, but I didn't watch. I listened while I worked. It's the Sun. The energy of the full moon is the energy of the Sun, but within our reach. We can touch it and have it.

ha ha by the end I was driving and using my love language- allahu akbar
beautiful

(edit) oh wow. I just watched it and she had the chart up the whole time she was talking. that's not the kind of production I was talking about. That was cool

(edit2) I do not endorse her statement that planet earth is the only place where we have to master all four quadrants. I have no idea. I never thought about it.

This one's good:
https://www.divineharmony.org/cosmic-insight-divine-harmony/divine-harmony-astrology-blog/grand-cross-full-moon-cancer-crossroads-opportunity/

Interesting to think of tJupiter in Libra not just as squaring the Sun/Moon and being a powerful part of the Grand Cross, but also falling right on the Sun-Moon midpoint.

ok Lucia I'm listening now and maybe a few times

edit: reading I assumed listen because that's mostly what I can manage in order to obtain information and expand I work all the time. I'm on the move and when I'm not moving I don't make time to read. Funny thing is while I was working with my client in the wee hours of this morning I was thinking that I might ask you guys to post more articles. Ill read what you all post...and here you did it. Ill enjoy. Thanks.

I really like this. It gives you something tangible to work with and meditate on with the in-depth explanation of the transits. I have to read a few more times

Party on! I might start a thread for this lol

Yeah the full moon is opposite my sun, conjunct my moon, trine Saturn, trine my Pluto, opposite my, Mars, Uranus and Neptune, square my Asc. Along with Chiron squaring my moon for today and tomorrow *dies*, but Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto are going to eff me over with this transit too. It's gonna beat interesting to say the least.

on my bff's ASC! and my.. draconic saturn.. 22 Cancer.
my boyfriend has 20 Cap Mars.

I have a 26 Aries moon but perhaps it's too wide to be felt. I definitely feel the full moon coming though, always do. I'm trying to move again, and am torn between staying safe and bored or taking a risk to move into an entirely different situation with insane people. I just feel like why not, when am I ever going to have this much freedom again? Hopefully always, but I might as well choose the most exciting option at every opportunity.. Anywho.. Happy (early) full moon ^_^

Edit: And also.. I seem to be slowly losing my job lately, they keep telling me to take days off (which are welcomed but I'm also very much a broke student), and they tell me they're running out of money.

The Moon is in my 12th and the Sun on my Neptune / Uranus in the 6th (work) squaring my moon (security). Neptune, Venus and Mars are in my 8th. I guess it all seems pretty fitting with my current situation

Cancer Full Moon: Among the things Republicans voted to repeal at something like 1:30am - were health care for children (CHIP) and for pregnant women. Protection for Veterans, too.

There's more all over the place, including the woman's account above. The House votes next, so people need to make phone calls by tomorrow - Friday.

A friend of mine:

quote:
I have something else to point out about Congress taking away insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions.

I have a pre-existing condition because I donated a kidney to a stranger. It not only gave him a longer, better life and more years with his children and grandchildren, but it also kick-started a "pay it forward" chain of 6 donations.

Because of Congress's vote last night, I can be denied health coverage in the future because I did this.

I did the surgery knowing it was a risk, but I didn't know I faced an additional risk from my own elected officials voting against measures designed to keep their constituents alive and healthy longer.

My condolences, teasel...and to everyone who is feeling this in a difficult/suffering type of way.

Cafeastrology reading for today:

quote:
January 12, 2017
A Full Moon occurs this morning in the sign of Cancer. The Cancer-Capricorn polarity deals with the balance between the private life, domesticity, the need for a home base, and nurturance (represented by Cancer) versus the public life, career, reputation, and accountability (represented by Capricorn). Neglecting either end of the axis will surely backfire on us. Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Full Moon invites us to do. This Full Moon is about balancing our commitment to our career and families. Something is exposed or illuminated, prompting us to get in touch with those things in our personal lives that we may have been neglecting or putting off. With so much attention to our relationships, careers, and personal plans, a push for considering our emotional needs occurs now. Not everyone is going to be on board with what we want to do, and mediation may be helpful or necessary before moving forward. Mercury re-enters Capricorn today after it retreated into Sagittarius while retrograde. Venus and Neptune come together in the sign of Pisces, and our sensitivity to beauty and spirituality is heightened. We are easily influenced, seducible and seductive, and given to strong powers of imagination. This is a time of psychic openness that should be directed into proper, healthy channels.

The full moon grand cross all hits my 23 Aries Chiron. First part of the day has felt like wounding, maybe the healing comes in the later part of the day.... *fingers crossed*

Transiting Mars conjunct my moon exact today. No fun...

hey, how are you guys holding up?

i'm come to the realisation that my depression has kicked off a bit, and i'm in a bit of a dip and been in it since like last week of december, most likely since i spent an extended amount of time triggered constantly

my abandonment issues have come up and i'm questioning my relationship, and my ego holding me back and all that (full moon conjuncting my asc)

my leo asc = it's 12/6th house axis
my cap sun = 1/7th house axis

it's near my asc at the moment, and those really suit.

12/6th house - ive been dealing with physical manisfestations of depression, and psychological of course

1/7th house - relationship issues and wondering should i stay or should i go

cancer/capricorn = need to be nurtured and loved the way i would like to be loved vs. being accountable for my own emotional health and happiness.. pair that up with cap sun and all that = how much of our issues is me and i need to work on that on my own and how much is us? or him?

i'm lucky i had a session with my therapist about these issues yesterday, not really relationship but the 12/6th house abandonment stuff cause i think it's made today easier.

pluto has been helping actually. i've made moves and notes on where to go from here and what are the next steps and i'm working on it. i'm a goat! i'll keep climbing!

but overall, i'm not happy. i'm in a bit of a dip. i just feel plain sad.

fingers crossed though cause my period is due, maybe thats making it a bit worse... who knows. at least i still am able to hope.

i'm happy both jupiter and mars are quintiling my moon and mercury is conjunct it. i think it's helping me stay positive and make plans to change and give me the mind to do so

This right here, I've been experiencing same issues, abandonment issues when it comes to relationships, I've been feeling depressed for the past days, and today, specially cause anything someone does I swear I'm taking it way too personal, I know those are MY feelings, MY fears but still, I've been loosing my mind all day.

I think I've been struggling emotionally up to this day. But maybe two or three days ago I started feeling a decision coming. It is a decision in defense of my own needs. Today wasn't heart Chakra music day. Today was throat Chakra music day because I already know, and now its time to start speaking my truth to those around me. One thing about Cancer- It usually hurts to stand up and speak for yourself when you're doing it with anyone other than your enemy. So there is discomfort and pain even in the pursuit of balance and freedom.

I remembered a little while ago, that when I woke up in a panic, I meant to call my dad, but I was calling for mum.

I felt better this afternoon - dad got me out of the house (he had a light day), and we just got home, but we had a spooky experience on the way home. We both saw something right in or next to the road, just as the van reached it, but we don't know what it was. We didn't hit anything, and the cars behind us didn't stop. It was like a large patch of mist, but it was clear all the way home, except for that. It creeped us both out - it reminded me of when people talk about seeing ghosts.

My Aries Sun/chiron/ceres are around 23 Aries.

Surprisingly, I'm doing better than I was right before the Full Moon. Thinking of depression as the cause of my emotional pain rather than another person had some kind of unexpected calming effect. Not sure how to rationalize it, but okay.

On the other hand, my mood hasn't really improved. It's more that I'm just focused on other things. I'm likely to just start crying again after my body has recovered from the lack of water. Or not. I don't know how emotions work.
